What a great pet sit — I can’t thank Jade and Adil enough. These two are some of the nicest people who from the very beginning were so welcoming and generous. I arrived late one evening and Jade and Adil were kind enough to arrange a pickup for me from the airport. The following day we spent together and Jade helped me get oriented in the city, showing me the essentials places and giving me many helpful tips. They live in a great neighborhood which has many nice cafes, supermarkets, and shops. It’s also just next to the Medina so you’re never far from any excitement. And Leo, their Havanese pup is of course the star of the show. Yes, small in size, but he’s got a huge adorable personality. Cute and playful — I really had such a good time hanging out with him. The whole experience was really a pleasure and I can highly recommend sitting for Jade and Adil!
I loved spending time with Harley in Florence - she is such an affectionate and playful little dog with loads of character. She loves a snuggle on the couch and also knows exactly where she wants to go on her walks. Allyson and I met a few days before the petsit and she was very helpful in providing me with all the information I needed to keep Harley comfortable during my stay. She also responded very quickly if I had any queries during the petsit and I made sure to provide her with regular Harley updates via video and photos. This was my first petsit in Italy and I loved every minute of it (I also miss Harley a lot!).
Such a lovely sit. The pets are so chill and well behaved! The home is so cozy and clean!! The back deck and backyard are so peaceful. Would highly recommend. Guernville is a lovely area to explore.
We enjoyed our time in Old Orchard Beach with Ernie (the affectionate guy with a very loud purr) & Sukie (the reserved girl with a silky, soft coat). Both cats are under a year-old and a fun, lively twosome. Their home is a four-story townhouse in a safe area, and it's only a 10-minute walk to a beautiful, sandy beach. Old Orchard Beach is a summer resort town, and during November most of the town is closed which we thought was a plus since we had very few people to share our beach walks with. There's a store within walking distance, and it had what we needed for meal preparations. The town of Biddeford is a 10-minute drive with a choice of grocery stores and restaurants; it's also a mill town that we enjoyed exploring. The Eastern Trail in Scarborough is also a 10-minute drive and we enjoyed walking the salt marsh there. Within a 30-minute drive, there are many places to explore including Portland (lighthouses, walks, downtown), the Kennebunks (the Bush Compound at Walker Point, walks, shops), and a multitude of beaches and trails! We had a great time at Sarah's place. The house was clean, and we felt comfortable in it very quickly. Communication with Sarah went very smoothly. Mowgli and Phineas are a lot of fun. They like attention and cuddles. Phineas is super curious about you, so expect a lot of attention - we had much fun with her! We recommend a sit for Sarah and her lovely family and adorable pets!
