All Creatures Pet Care is first-rate. Brooke has taken care of my golden doodle since he was a puppy, sometimes for up to three weeks when I have traveled. The care is exceptional! We started sending our puppy to doggy daycare with Brooke so she could socialize with other dogs, have fun, and get used to being away from us (pandemic puppy problem--we are ALWAYS home!). I highly recommend All Creatures Pet Care! Our dogs Chance and Shelby love going to weekly daycare. The socialization and exercise is great for them. They are excited to be picked up and always come home happily tired. We enjoy and appreciate getting the updates and photos from their visits. Plus, the pick up and drop off services are a big time saver for us. We also use All Creates Pet Care for vacation boarding for our dogs. Chance and Shelby are treated like part of Brooke’s family. They pick up and drop off for almost all of their services and they make it a seamless process through their app. All Creatures will communicate with you one on one and they are always more than willing to answer any questions for you. They provide pictures throughout the day, and you can even track your dog walker through their app. Brooke was a vet tech for years and warned me about an issue with my dog that saved me thousands. I was given faulty advice from my former vet and after leaving them, Brooke recommended a vet who I absolutely love. I also have a very dominant, alpha dog and I wasn’t sure if my training was effective or not so I consulted with Brooke and her team and they were able to provide effective solutions to correct those behaviors. I could honestly go on and on about how much I have benefited from All Creatures. If you are stuck between services or if you are seeking a pet service, I would highly recommend this company. Lindsay has been walking our two dogs for nearly a year and has been fantastic! She walks them no matter the weather and always has a great attitude about it. Lindsay was amazing with our two dogs who she boarded. Dogtopia of Elsmere is the best place to bring your dog for daycare, boarding, and grooming. My dog loves going to daycare while his parents are at work. He can play with his dog friends, get pets from the friendly staff, and enjoy the multiple theme days every month! You can tell the staff at Dogtopia really love their jobs and each and every dog. They maintain a safe and clean playroom. They plan multiple theme days and parties throughout the year that make every day at daycare memorable for pets and parents. My favorites include Valentine's Day treat exchange, Dog Prom, Back to school week, Halloween costume contest, and pictures with Santa! My dog and I love Dogtopia!

I took my puppy Cookie Monster here for the first time and everyone was great!! When I dropped her off at 9 they told me that she would be ready at noon and they would call me. I was called right at noon. She looked great when I picked her up. Diana did a fantastic job and did everything that we discussed at drop off... this is going to be my permanent groomer!! The office staff was great as well! Gemma was very friendly when I scheduled my appointment... Thank you for everything!!

Wanted to love Dogtopia of Elsemere, but I don’t plan on bringing my dogs back there again. From the first full day my huskies stayed at Dogtopia, after the intro, I noticed that one of my huskies was crated for an hour at multiple times via their webcam. It’s important to me that my dogs aren’t crated for extended periods of time, otherwise I could simply crate them at home rather than pay someone else to crate them (and I expressed this on day one). When I asked the manager if there was any issue with my dog that was crated, I was told there was no issue. It wasn’t until I told her that I saw my dog crated for about an hour that she revealed that the “dog trainer” Maya was new and that my dog should not have been crated for longer than 30 mins. I’m not one for second and third chances, but I gave them another chance and noticed that when the manager was the dog trainer in the gym, my dog in question did not get crated for long periods of time multiple times. Yesterday was the 3rd full day my dogs stayed at Dogtopia and Maya once again crated my dog (the same one I referenced) multiple times over 30 mins. When I asked the staff member at the front desk if everything went ok, they responded yes there were no issues. I then pointed out that one of my dogs was crated multiple times and sincerely asked if he just isn’t a fit with the other dogs. That’s when the staff member finally said another dog wanted to mount my dog and my dog wasn’t interested so their solution was to rotate crating my dog and the aggressive dog. I don’t think that’s a fair solution. The aggressive dog should be crated not mine. To top this all off, my dog that was crated has had diarrhea all through the night. I brought the food they’ve been eating at home to Dogtopia for their lunch, but who knows what happened. My pup was also fine before his daycare visit. Apologies for this review being so long, but if you decide to use Dogtopia’s services I would monitor their webcam to see how your pets are being treated and ask questions because they aren’t transparent at all. I would also not leave my dog there while Maya is the trainer on call.(Btw learned their summer “dog trainer” staff is comprised of mostly college students). I should be able to trust the people I’m paying to leave my dogs with and I just don’t trust Dogtopia of Elsemere specifically and Dogtopia generally.

Rosco seemed to enjoy his first experience. We will have him go a couple times a month for socialization with other dogs. We loved watching him on the camera. He's not been with other pups very often.

I am so glad we decided to bring our pup to Dogtopia. Aside from our dog loving it, the facility is very clean and the employees are so friendly and helpful. Being able to access the webcams eased my mind the first few weeks when I wasn’t sure! 10/10 would recommend!

Everyone is friendly and attentive. They know you and your dog when you arrive (usually before you even enter the front door!) The facility is clean. Mist importantly my dog is happy and exhausted at the end of the day!

We took our seven month old puppy for the first time to Dogtopia in Elsmere DE yesterday. I was very nervous and within minutes of watching the webcam was relieved and impressed. The caregivers are very attentive to all needs. We have booked our first boarding and are confident leaving our pup overnight. It’s too early to recommend overnight boarding, but definitely a daycare stay. Our pup enjoyed the day.

Everyone was very welcoming and you can tell they are all dog lovers. I really love the fact that they separate the dogs based on size or temperament. It shows they really pay attention to how the dogs interact with one another before placing them together. The camera access is the cherry on top to make me feel at ease to be able to check in with our two pups whenever I needed. Thank you!

I love this place! More importantly, my puppy loves this place (quite possibly more than home). They’re so great to my baby and to us. The facility is well staffed, clean and my puppy is safe and supervised. Can’t say enough good things! Be prepared for lots of sleep after daycare. JB is always wiped out from all of the fun!

People are everything and Dogtopia has the best. Everyone is so nice, qualified, knowledgeable and caring. Our Rita loves it there and we have no worries when we drop her off!

I would not recommend this doggie daycare anymore. My dog Finley had been going to this location for 14 years - back when Helen was the owner. I felt like she was taking care of my dog like her own. I saw the negative changes with the most recent ownership changes - much higher prices and the manager was not very friendly. Finley was under their care in May while I was on vacation. He was an older dog with cancer. He passed away while there. They took him to the emergency vet that I had requested while I traveled home. 3 days later I received an email from “Dogtopia of Fairfax” - not signed by a person - saying they were sorry of his passing and they had his belongings for me to pick up after I pay for his stay. They did refund the last day. I was in shock to see that a service related business would continue to charge when a dog has passed away. I went to pick up his things and pay what I owed - the manager said the Regional or District Manager is the person who made her charge it. I sent him 2 emails about it and had NO response from him!!! Terrible way to run a business. I then reached out to Dogtopia on Instagram to send them a DM because I couldn’t find any other way to contact them. A few weeks later they reached out, were very sorry about the situation - they then contacted the location and had them refund my money because I should not have been charged. Just be warned that this Dogtopia does not have the small home feel anymore.

Would never recommend Dogtopia anymore. They have gotten WAY too expensive for the service they provide. Staff is friendly enough, but they will put the bigger dogs in with the little dogs. And these bigger dogs are very hyper and playful around the little ones. My dogs also come back sick more often than not after boarding. Would not recommend.

Wonderful experience, building is secure and clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, all dogs are tested for temperament with other dogs and placed in room with dogs similar in size. There are food/snack options available for reasonable prices or bring your own food, they have a fridge and microwave to warm it up. The play rooms are frequently cleaned, supervised, and there are cameras to watch how your doggie is doing. Best of all is my dog (which has separation anxiety) had a blast and didn’t want to leave! Dogs get to have a play day, learn social skills, are safe and protected, provided nap time and meals in a clean safe environment. I feel safe leaving my dog here and knowing they will have fun. The outside play area has small dog pools, splash pads and other various things to do!

I would definitely recommend Dogtopia. My dogs love going there for daycare. The staff is friendly, caring and interactive with my dogs and they love them! I check in on them during the day on the cameras, and they are always having a good time and are tired out when they get home.

Oh wow! My dog hasn’t been this happy since he was a puppy! He didn’t want to come home with me today. Jess and her team already feel like a part of the family - they keep him busy playing all day, he is fed and so happy. Thank you Dogtopia in Wilmington, we are so lucky to have found you.

Our dog, Maggie, has been going to Dogtopia a few days a week for the past two years. She has a great time and loves everyone that works there! It is really comforting to know that she is safe during the hours she is not at home with us!

My dog Sadie goes here for regular baths and nail clipping. She is always happy to go so I know they treat her well. She comes out smelling and looking well groomed and wagging her tail! The staff is always friendly and genuinely care for your furry baby!

Our Dalmatian, Neuhaus loves his visits so much when he sees me packing up his food & toys the whimpering begins. He really enjoys the play time with his friends and we love the Pet Cam! It makes our vacation less stressful knowing he is having fun in a safe loving environment.

Our pooch loves Best Friends like it's her second home. We've been boarding our dog here for about 3 years and the staff has always been phenomenal. Everyone is very friendly and it's a very welcoming environment. I admittedly get nervous when my dog and other dogs "meet," but she always does great at group play at Best Friends. I don't know what kind of magic they work but I get a little bit of a "training session" myself each time I chat with the staff at Best Friends when I pick her up. They're all great people and willing to provide helpful tips.

From my experience Best Friends always keeps our dog happy safe and well fed during his trips there. Anytime I have a concern or question or change in schedule they always try to accommodate. They love seeing Charlie’s face when he arrives and their new groomer has bonded with him which is not easy to do!!!

Over the past few years I boarded my dogs at Best Friends for weekend or week long stays. Having the opportunity to “check in” via video is a terrific addition to the boarding service. My dogs have always been happy when they realized they were going to spend time at Best Friends. Their reaction as we entered the doors made me feel they had a good time during previous visits. I highly recommend Best Friends!

Best Friends is our ultimate doggy destination! My German shepherd Moon is so excited to attend the day camp at Best Friends, he practically pulls me through the door. Moon has such a blast playing with his furry friends and the staff who clearly adore dogs, and always comes home happy and ready to conk out for a well-deserved nap. And thanks to the clean environment - NO doggy daycare funk!! We have also used Best Friends for longer stays, and Moon always comes back the same tired, happy pup. Knowing that he is having fun and being well cared for allows us to relax and enjoy our time away.

My two golden doodles were well taken care as first time boarders by very experienced staff that were highly responsive to the individual needs of my dogs. Planning, drop off, and pick up were well coordinated and timely. I will definitely be using Best Friends Pet Hotel in the future and highly recommend their services.

We are so grateful to have found this business! Every Wednesday we send our dog, Finn, to doggy daycare. Finn usually hates car rides, but when Brooke or Leah come to the door we can hardly get him in his harness before he’s running out the door to hop in their cars! The dogs in their care are very well taken care of, get to run around the yard all day, and come home exhausted! We also LOVE that we get pictures and videos texted to us throughout the day! This place is amazing!! 100% would recommend to anyone with an active dog that needs to be exercised regularly, or even if you have an easygoing pup who may be an only child and needs some social interaction :)

Specifically: I have been withholding writing this review for fear that Heather would become too busy and not be available when I need her, but my senior dog (Zeus) has crossed the rainbow bridge, so it is time. Heather is one of the best dog walkers and people I have had the pleasure of getting to know these past two years. Going above and beyond just seems to be ingrained in who she is as a person. For the past roughly two years Heather walked Zeus 4-5 times a week, catering each walk to Zeus's needs. Toward the end, Zeus could not handle a 30 minute walk and really needed help eating. Heather happily started taking him on shorter walks and using the remaining time to hand feed Zeus his wet food while sitting on my floor because that's what worked best for Zeus. She always sent me detailed updates about how Zeus was doing, and you could tell Zeus really loved her (both through how she'd describe his behavior in her notes from walks and because when I had her come over while I was home, Zeus got excited to see her and went to the door for their usual routine). She definitely pours her heart and soul into this job, and I am forever grateful. She treated my dog like her own in every way, and I could not recommend her enough.

We loved the care and attention our dog Landon received from Robert! Robert sent pictures from each visit, wrote detailed recaps of their time togther and was very responsive. I already put a request in for our next trip! Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience using For the Love of Dogs when I recently went on vacation. First of all, Leah has a great system for getting you all set up to use their services. She was very responsive and the process was very simple. Then I had an introductory meeting with my pet caretaker, Debbie, to get her introduced to my five kitties and show her around my house. Debbie was awesome! She obviously loves animals and is committed to providing excellent care. I had no doubt my cats were in great hands. While I was away, I received daily text updates with pictures which really put my mind at ease! Next time I travel I will definitely be calling FTLOD and highly recommend them to anyone with a pet!

I can't say enough about Leah and her team at For the Love of Dogs. We have three dog children and moved to the area a year ago. We had several bad experiences before finding For the Love of Dogs. This company is hands down the best in Home dog sitting/ walking service there is in this area. The owner Leah was absolutely a pleasure to work with. Leah was incredibly professional and made everything easy with scheduling, payment, and understanding expectations. The dog sitter we had was Melissa and she was amazing! She communicated with us each time she arrived at the home, and sent us pictures. The dogs adored her. They honestly were so spoiled by the attention and love they received from Melissa, that after we got home they waited at the door for her to come back. Our dogs had just as much of a vacation as we did because of her. Lastly, the pricing that this company charges is more than fair. For the amount of walks, cuddles and time spent with someone in the comfort of your own home, what you pay is a steal. Please use this company if you are looking for in home pet sitting or walking. I love supporting local hard working businesses and if you are like me, then you will love using them as well.

Great service, great people to work with and our dogs were super happy with the love and attention they received. We have three dogs, two with disabilities (one is blind and one is deaf), and this was not at all an issue. Leah and her team set up a schedule and made sure our babies were well cared for. We used For the Love Of Dogs training for our 8 month old beagle puppy. He was very dominate and thought he was in charge in the house. We needed help fast. I was pregnant, and had fears of bringing an infant into the house with the way the dog behaved. He was unpredictable. Miranda was our trainer. She quickly took charge and showed us how to train and teach our dog Louie. Louie is now submissive and loving little guy. I am no longer afraid to bring a new born into our house. For the love of Dogs helped us in so many ways!!! They were professional and understanding. Which is exactly what we needed. I would recommend them to anyone having dog issues or a dog sitter.

The entire team at Leah's company is second to none. They have taken care of my now 2 year, 4 month old puppy since I got her when she was just less than 4 months old. Terry Lynn is the most incredible and conscientious person who lovingly takes care of our cat. She takes the worry and anxiety away when we would travel. I feel completely comfortable and at ease knowing she is caring for our dear friend. I have a very anxious, older dog, who is unable to be kenneled. With a family trip to Disney coming up, I needed to find an alternative to a traditional boarding facility. Terry has provided us with so much more than just that. She gave us comfort and peace of mind. We did weekly daycare visits leading up to our trip so that my dog could get to know Terry and get comfortable with her. This helped so much with her anxiety. When it came time for our trip I knew that my dog was in good hands and that she would feel comfortable and safe with Terry. Terry took care of her, like she was her own and sent me daily updates letting me know how she was doing, which I loved. Terry Lynn is very much dedicated and devoted to caring for pets - her own and yours! Terry Lynn’s critters is our dog Harper’s favorite place to be! Harper has been going to Terry’s since she was a puppy and we have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Terry is incredibly accommodating to our work schedules as my fiancé and I both work in healthcare. She loves all the dogs at daycare as her own and we are so thankful to have Terry love our Harper.

Terry took care of my 3 cats while I was out of the country for 10 days. She sent me photos, in and of itself a feat because I never expected them to come out, and communicated with me frequently. She had to have a medical procedure during this time and still made sure my cats were taken care of. I highly recommend.

Terry is a fabulous, caring pet-sitter. Our dogs, Ollie and Ellie, and kitty, Tommy, love her and she treats them like family! She did at-home visits while we were away sending texts and pictures frequently. Our kitty needs medication administered twice a day and she had no problem doing that for us. She brought in the mail and even refilled my bird feeders when they were empty. She goes above and beyond. It is such a great feeling to be able to get away on vacation knowing your pets and home are well cared for. I highly recommend Terry.

Terry is the absolute best pet sitter I’ve ever found, and truly the only non blood relative i’ve ever totaly trusted to take care of my sweet, adorable and very challenging rescue bichon, Spencer. Spencer came to me as a last-chance foster off death-row, after burning his way through shelters and foster homes. He suffered from the most intense separation anxiety- a vet even suggested putting him down at one point, to end his suffering! He came a long way with training and a behavior consult, but he never was able to shake his separation anxiety…. enter Terry. This woman made it possible for me to attend law school and work, and Spencer actually enjoyed week long stays while I vacationed out of the country. My family has relied on Terry Lynn’s for over 10 years for cage- free dog boarding and home visits for our cats. She is caring, reliable, honest, responsive and an expert in taking care of animals large and small. She makes every effort to accommodate her clients while always having her furry guests’ best interests in mind. I can always count on Terry, and trust her judgement, as we have been through a lot together through the many years and our many pets!

We reached out to Five Paws very last minute to see if they would be able to watch our dog who had significant medical needs. They were wonderful from start to finish and I was so confident each time that she was in such great care. We've previously had her boarded and she would seem so stressed when we picked her up. We were desperate to find an alternative and we didn't look back once we started using Five Paws. They give updates, pictures and each time we came home she was as happy as can be. They provided such peace for us knowing she was in good hands and was happy especially given all of her medical concerns (dog dementia, blindness, hard of hearing, pain, etc..). Our Sahara has since passed but I would use them again and again with any dogs we may have in the future and cannot recommend them enough.

I don't trust anyone else with my pets when I'm away! I love that I know I will get photos of my cats and a report of how the visit went from the sitter. They take time to give the cats individual attention, not just coming in to feed, clean, and leave. Scheduling is very easy and the rates are reasonable.

Hi: Kudos to Five Paws Recently had Five Paws cat sit our cats and pond fish. The team at Five Paws hit a homerun with us. The team is very professional, respectful and loving to our gang. The team of Melinda and Blythe were so observant of our pets, even going out of the way to feed our strays, without blinking an eye. Special shout out to Melinda who really saved the day as she was feeding the fish in our pond, when she noticed that one of our goldfish got stuck in the filter. Without any hesitation she jumped in to save him, which would have been a disaster if she didn't as he would have passed and fouled the pond water. Five Paws has taken excellent care of all my pets (rabbit, cat, mice) for many years now and they do an excellent job! They were even able to give my cat pills (in pill pockets) and coordinated with my vet once when she stopped eating and I could not be reached. They are reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and professional. I will continue to use them when I go on vacation and highly recommend them!

We have been using Five Paws for a few years now, for small weekend trips or week long vacations. They have been so wonderful with our pups. It is a relief to know my dogs are in good hands and they can remain comfortable in their own space while we are away, instead of in a kennel which would stress my 13 year old pup too much. We used Five Paws for our cat while we were on vacation. It was the first time we left her behind without family checking in, and I was a nervous wreck. Faith was our sitter, who took wonderful care of our girl. After every visit, we'd receive an update with multiple pictures. We've already put in our vacation request days for this summer!

I HIGHLY recommend hiring Five Paws of Delco! The owner is fantastic, the scheduling process is so simple, and all of the sitters are wonderful! They are EXTREMELY reliable and trustworthy, which is so important when you're away. They also have a great app used to communicate with each sitter and to see pics of your pups! I always receive such a sweet and detailed update from our sitter after every visit. I had an experience where I was out of the country using a different sitter (not Five Paws of Delco) who was supposed to watch my dogs at their house for the week. They decided that they no longer wanted to watch them after a couple days, so they dropped them back off at my house, alone. I was panicking, just having arrived in another country, so I reached out to Five Paws of Delco who immediately responded and scheduled multiple last minute visits for me. I cannot thank them enough for being there during this very stressful time! It's so comforting to know we always have them available to sit for our dogs. I promise you won't regret hiring this company!

We have been using Five Paws for a little over two years for noontime walks and visits for our miniature poodle. They are absolutely the best to work with! Lisa took such amazing care of our dog on our wedding day. Pepper was able to join into our photos and part of our cocktail hour. Lisa was super flexible and she made sure Pepper was there on time. I can’t say enough good things about Weather or Not. As a former vet tech, I am admittedly extremely picky about the caretakers I choose for my dog. I am happy to report my dog has always been happy, healthy, and very well taken care of here. We’re given frequent updates and pictures and Lisa isn’t afraid to reach out to ask about something if she isn’t sure, which is such an important quality to have! She takes the utmost care and always wants to make sure she’s making the best choices for our girl. We moved out of state a couple of years ago and still make the drive all the way back here when we’re going away because we don’t trust anyone else with our girl. Simply the best!!

Lisa and Mike are the most involved, professional and caring owners and have a great team in place.. They have been providing walking and dog daycare services since we brought our golden retriever home two years ago. They are always responsive and adaptable to our ever-changing schedule and needs. Lisa and Mike give off the distinct impression that they care for each and every dog like it's their own. My wife and I moved away from Delaware years ago but still make the hour-long drive when we travel because we don't want to leave our pup anywhere else. Whenever she's there we get frequent updates and pictures showing us how happy, healthy, and comfortable she is, which very much puts our minds at ease while we're gone.

My dogs and I had a wonderful experience with Weather or Not. Our primary care giver , Becca, provided dedicated and dependable service. Communication from her and her partner, Maggie, was consistent and detailed. They even included photos of my dogs while I was away. My dogs are spoiled and they can be difficult, especially the senior dog, who requires daily medication. My concerns were put to rest immediately with Becca's attention to detail and her messages. Great service. I highly recommend this service.

Weather or Not is outstanding! We have used Lisa's company for pet taxi, dog walking, and overnight boarding. Every service has been outstanding. Our dogs absolutely adore Lisa...so much so, that our pup, Piper, was totally happy to trot off for overnight boarding without even looking back once when we dropped her off. She went on to have a fun filled weekend. I have great comfort knowing that we have a team to help with dog support when we need it. Again, outstanding!

Lisa and her team are the best! They regularly walk my Rambo a couple of times a week. Rambo has also been boarded at Lisa's house which is extremely dog friendly with a great yard! I trust Weather or Not Dog Walkers fully! Rambo so excited when he is with Lisa or one of her team members. Lisa is super responsible. I love the daily updates and pictures she sends after a visit. We absolutely love Camp Bow Wow! We rescued our dog earlier this year and Camp has been so helpful. Our little guy was nervous around people and Camp Bow Wow has improved his confidence so much! He also has separation anxiety and he is so excited to go and see his counselors he doesn’t even realize I left. He loves the activities and we love the pictures! The counselors are so sweet, kind and caring and I feel so comfortable knowing he is with them. He is one happy camper!

We love bringing Frankie to socialization class, day camp, and boarding. The best part is how much she loves seeing her doggie friends and especially the staff. You can’t beat the tail wag or smile.

Omg!! I’m very happy I made the switch from Wilmington Dogtopia to Camp Bow Wow! THIS PLACE IS SO MUCH BETTER in so many ways! Like the communication is transparent, I got to see the facility in whole. where he would play, where he would board. I met many of the workers. They have a awesome new camper package. Everyone was really friendly. I had the pleasure to watch my pups interview. Just an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend Camp Bow Wow to my friends and family.

Camp Bow Wow Delaware North is run by experienced people who truly care about the dogs. The indoor/outdoor facility is modern, extremely clean, and has roomy "cabins" for overnight stays. The grooming staff, particularly Michelle, do a wonderful job with our dog, Maggie, who is old and a bit feeble. Their caring attitude is comforting. All of the staff we have come in contact with (which is many) offer wonderful customer service. I can't imagine a facility and staff that could do a better more reassuring job. I'm constantly impressed.

I absolutely love this place. The people are so friendly. They love the dogs. My dog loves coming here. The other customers are so sweet as well. It’s an awesome network of people. Boarding is just as easy as daycare. What a relief it was to find this place. Thank you so much❣️Being able to check my pup on camera makes it that much more stress free.

This is a wonderful place of care, play, training, and grooming. We've been using Camp Bow Wow for just under a year now, and I'm impressed. We have two dogs who are just over a year old and we've used various services at Camp Bow Wow so I can reflect on a little of everything offered. I tell neighbors and relatives, now I thought I'd share with strangers researching Camp Bow Wow. Camp Bow Wow deserves five stars for the care of the facility and care of the animals! We appreciate the atmosphere provided and cleanliness of the facility. It's extremely convenient to use the dog care for half or full days. Sometimes, our little guys just need to interact with others for a few hours, or we have errands and doctor's appointments, so we use their services for a few hours. Without fail—whether they boarded overnight or just attended a day here there, it was always clear they were well taken care of. This is why they're always so excited to go back! It is obviously a lot of fun for them and there's always someone around, too. Your dogs are not just left alone in a room or in a yard. Dogs must sense that kind of care, I'm convinced. I've checked in on camera throughout the times they've stayed, and I see a dedicated staff member who takes care of each play area. I also notice they rotate, which I assume keeps workers from burning out, becoming impatient, or careless. I truly could go on and on with positive thoughts here. Nothing is perfect so of course I had a couple of little things here and there that bothered me. These did not relate to the care of the dogs but could have been resolved with some better customer service training or maybe a person was misunderstanding me and I misunderstood them, or we were both having a bad day. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I threw these thoughts in here, so anyone reading knows I'm not just gushing over them as if I've never seen anything I disliked. The good heavily outweighs those couple of experiences though.

Oh, my goodness! This is the best place to let your dog play or be boarded. Everyone at this Camp Bow Wow location loves dogs and is so professional. They are very available via phone or email when you need to speak with them about your dog or any details in regard to services offered. There is another Camp closer to us, but we prefer to drive an extra 20 minutes so that our Theodore is well taken care of and loved on. I can't say enough good things about Camp Bow Wow Delaware North! Kelly

After visiting two other doggie daycare and boarding facilities, we knew Camp Bow Wow was the place for our little Dommy. Jenny and all the staff are wonderful! They're very attentive and professional and made us feel comfortable with leaving our fur baby in their care. No other facility was willing to give us a tour of their facility or where our little one would be housed, or the play area. Camp Bow Wow is very organized in all aspects of the services they provide, 1/2 day or full day camp, boarding, training, and grooming. They have no problem taking you on a tour of the facility and answering any questions or concerns. Since it was our first time using the day camp and overnight boarding, we were very happy they provided an App for a webcam which allowed us to view our little one when we were missing him or just needed to know how he was interacting with the other fur babies. Our baby has never been around other dogs before this visit. He was exhausted when he got home, but was better behaved than before his time at Camp Bow Wow. We think he was bored before attending Camp Bow Wow which resulted in him destroying any toy or pillows we provided, within a few hours. We bought him a new doggie pillow and a few chew toys after he got home. It's been almost a week, and he hasn't destroyed either of them! We're looking forward to his next visits which we feel will help more with his socialization and alleviate his occasional boredom.

I am always pleased with my dog's visits at Camp Bow Wow. Whether I am using them for doggy day care or grooming, I know he is going to be well cared for. Michelle is a wonderful groomer and always gives me updates on how my dog is doing - which I find so helpful because my dog can be a bit of a diva when it comes to getting a bath. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow!

Camp Bow Wow is the go-to place for my family whenever we need dog boarding or training services. We've used their facility in more than one state, and it's always been a great experience. We recently used their training program at their Delaware location, and the 5 package deal was well worth the money. When we adopted our Golden Retriever, we were about to have our third child, and I had surgery six months later. Our Golden was trained on the basics, but he was not great at discerning how to behave around small children and was constantly knocking them over, which was a hazard in our two-story house. The trainers at Camp Bow Wow were amazing, and their guidance and training have made all the difference. Our Golden is like a different dog now, and we owe it all to their expert training and advice. We also appreciate how much fun our dogs have when they are there. They always follow our overnight instructions perfectly, and the trainers have even sent us update pictures via email while we were away. While they can be expensive with multiple dogs, their pricing is still reasonable considering the level of care and service they provide. The owner even reached out to me before our dogs first overnight stay to personally speak to me (dog mom to dog mom) about flea and tick brands. Needless to say, I’ve been ordering the one we discussed and recommended and it was probably the best decision I could’ve made all thanks to a 2-minute phone call. Overall, we highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for their excellent dog training and boarding services. The trainers are top-notch, and the dogs always have a great time. They are worth the money, especially in times when you need the extra help with your furry friend. A well-deserved 5-star rating!

Michelle and her staff at Dog Dayz are incredible! I originally looked into daycare options for Lola as a way for her to meet other dogs while working through some social anxiety, but none worked out until we met Michelle and Sarah. At only 10lbs Lola was nervous at first in a new environment surrounded by much larger dogs -- Michelle was optimistic about how daycare could benefit her and has continued to work with Lola week after week to get more comfortable in the pack! Lola has been going to Dog Dayz for 6 months now and loves it. She has even made a few friends! I appreciate knowing she has a safe place to interact with other dogs while I’m a work. The staff pay such close attention to her and always check in during the day with updates. We have had a great experience here and I can’t recommend it enough!

Michelle and all of the staff that work at Dog Dayz have been so amazing and patient with our dog Reese. Reese is reactive towards people but loves dogs so much and had done amazing at daycare where we used to live, but we were nervous to put him in a new day care environment after moving. I explained my situation to Michelle and she was so accommodating and accepting of him, letting him come in on a trial basis with close supervision to see how he would acclimate. Now he goes once or twice a week and he is obsessed with Dog Dayz! All of the staff have been wonderful with Reese and his behavior issues. It is so nice and comforting to know that he has a safe and accepting environment to play and socialize in. We love Dog Dayz!

I was nervous to take my rescue to a daycare but knowing they specialize in rescues and after my first meeting at Dog Dayz I knew he was in good hands! A neighbor recommended I reach out to Michelle and I could not be happier with how I’ve watched his confidence grow with other dogs and people. Before I even put my car in park in the parking lot he’s ready to jump out to see his friends. As a 2 year old his energy seems endless, but he’s always pooped when I pick him up. I’m so thankful to Michelle and her team at Dog Dayz for the positive changes I’ve seen in my pup.

We are new residences to the Wilmington area and we’re looking for a space for our dog Bogey to make new friends and have weekly social interactions with other dogs. We are so grateful we found DogDayz. It’s a big open facility with lots of different dogs and plenty of attentive and knowledgeable staff. Bogey absolutely loves going there. He gets so excited when we drop him off and doesn’t want to leave when we come to pick him up. It’s the highlight of his week and we love knowing he’s playing and getting exercise while we are at work.

Very friendly staff who clearly love dogs and are also nice to people! ...my dog goes twice a week and returns exhausted from playing. I like the gate system they have set up to ensure nobody darts out, I feel my dog is safe and the dogs are well supervised and cared for.

We love the competent and responsible staff at Dog Dayz! Been clients for over 10 years, now with our 2nd pup who loves the people and all her furry friends. She's always excited for another day at Dog Dayz and she's so tired at the end of the day that a cat can use her as a pillow!

I feel so blessed to have found Dog Dayz. The staff is unbelievable! They are true dog lovers, and sincerely care about your baby or babies. I contacted several services when I decided my active puppy needed to go to daycare two days a week. The only one that responded was Dog Dayz. Not only did the owner, Michelle, respond within an hour but it was on a Sunday afternoon. She was responsive and informative, and we immediately set up a meet and greet the following week. My Milkshake has been attending two days a week for almost two months now. I could not be happier. Michelle, Kimm, Cierra, and Dylan are amazing to work with. Cierra and Dylan have reached out to inform me of things I need to know about, and I appreciate that greatly. Milkshake gets beyond excited the second we grab his harness and leash and say “are you ready to go to school”. He cannot get out the door fast enough! When he comes home, he is a different dog. The energy he is able to release by playing with his friends has decreased his hyper activity and negative, destructive behavior. I feel less guilty because he has not been in a crate all day. It makes my evenings less stressful because he puts himself in his crate and sleeps for at least 2 to 3 hours while I cook dinner and do my evening routine. This is the best decision we could have ever made and money well spent! Once I can afford to increase his days, I will surely do so! I have been entrusting my dogs to Dog Dayz since 2002 (almost since their opening). What an amazingly experienced and caring owner Michelle Latham is. She and her staff are incredibly knowledgable with regard to dog training, dog whispering and also in running a business. My dogs have always come home from their “dayz” there: better socialized, better behaved, and doggone tired (sorry, couldn’t help it). Dog Dayz was the first doggie daycare in the area and they are still the best!

Dog Dayz has been wonderful for our big, energetic 2 year-old puppy. She comes home completely worn out. The team is so sweet to her, and more than once, they’ve alerted us to her health concerns before we’ve noticed them ourselves. We’re so grateful for their attentiveness—they really love and care for your pets.
