Renée and Frans have been absolutely wonderful house sitters! They took care of my house and my two cats MiuMiu and Mimi for nearly two weeks. When they arrived the day before my departure, I felt immediately that they were two very reliable, kind, warm and generous persons and also that they have experience with cats. The comunication right from the beginning was easy and flowing. Renée replied always immediately to my messages and sent my every morning and every evening updates with fotos of MiuMiu and Mimi. The cats seemed happy and relaxed on the fotos which helped me to relax during my holiday! Due to a strong thunderstorm Renée and Frans remained without electricity for 24 hours and whithout water for several hours in my house… I listend to the news at the radio about the terrible emercency situation in Tuscany and was quiete worried but Renée and Frans handled the situation with a calm and pratical spirit which really reassured me. I felt that they were very responsible and that they would be able to find solutions for each kind of problems with the house or with the cats. Renée and Frans visited a lot Florence and Tuscany but they spent also a lot of time at home with the cats which was very important for me. At my return I found the appartment super clean and tidy. Miumiu and Mimi were relaxed, serene, brushed and in perfect shape. It was a great pleasure to meet Renée and Frans and to host them in my house. I feel that we became nearly friends during these two weeks although we communicated only by whatsapp messages ;-) I definitely can recommend them and I really hope that they will return another time to take care of my house and my cats in the future.

I would thoroughly recommend Ineke as a Housesitter. She was extremely friendly and reliable and looked after our house and garden plus our dogs and hens. She watered the garden and looked after everything beautifully. She was unphased by people coming and going to the house and everyone commented on how efficient and nice she was. She sent me photos of the dogs while we were away to keep us posted and to let us know how she was getting on. Thank you!!

Jessica & Robert took great care of taco and we were lucky enough they brought their well behaved dog charley with them. for extra company. Communication was fast throughout with regular updates and we came back to a happy puppy and clean house. They even took him on a road trip out to the beach. Thanks for everything

Christel was absolutely wonderful. She was very well organised, easy to communicate with, conscientious and attentive. Due to train cancellations I had to leave earlier than originally planned, but Christel's good organisation meant that she was able to arrive with plenty of time to spare and we could do the handover. She even kindly dropped me off at the station. I feel lucky to have had Christel as a sitter.

Puck

Puck and her friend were excellent house and pet sitters. Puck was responsive and self sufficient which allows us to enjoy our holiday without constant interruptions. She sent cute pics when we asked for updates and even went above and beyond to return some library books for us and helped out caring for our neighbor's kitties! The house was clean and in order when we returned and the cats were happy and healthy! I will definitely call her again next time we are away!

Lisa and Joppe had great communication, and looked after the cats well. They sent lots of pics of the cats playing and napping to let us know they were happy and comfortable. They also left the flat super clean and tidy. Would highly recommend them if you’re looking for your next sitter!

I didn’t have a moment’s worry leaving the house and pets in the care of Nathaniel and Tina. Nathaniel had experience in dealing with diabetic cats which was reassuring when it came to looking after our diabetic cat Smudge. The animals looked very calm and happy in the updates sent to us by Nathaniel and Tina. I would thoroughly recommend them as pet sitters and would happily use them again myself.

Berthe

It was great for me to be able to go away without a care in the world as Berthe was looking after Mr Cat! Berthe very kindly combined two of my sits (I came home briefly on one day) and came to London for longer than she had initially hoped to do which made all the difference to me. We had a good amount of time together before I left initially so I was able to go knowing everything would be all right. Berthe left the house looking spotless (I worried it was cleaner when I got back than it had been when I left) and everything was in order. I would highly recommend Berthe and hope you are lucky enough to have her looking after your pet.

We want to thank Edward and Ingrid for the opportunity they’ve given us to look after Ziggy, Lulu, Joey and their property.   It turned out to be the most wonderful time!

We had access to everything we might need, and our room with the balcony had a splendid view of the most beautiful garden and sparkling pool. We felt like prince and princess of the castle!

The sitter’s guide was comprehensive, and included information covering every possible event or need we might have.  

With the pets being our first priority, we focused on getting to know and understand them as soon as possible.  Ziggy is the tiniest little doggie, sweet as can be.  She followed us wherever we went, and just wanted to be close to us.  Joey the ginger cat, has a strong personality but underneath all the bravado, is a boy who loves cuddles and attention.  Lulu is the queen staying on level one, and required no contact with Joey.   So from the start, it just happened naturally that Lulu and Ziggy slept with us in our room.  

The pets are sweet and not demanding at all.  They just need love and attention, which we gave in abundance.  

The morning 4-5 km walk we did before the day started, was also amazing.  The surroundings are safe for walking, with magnificent trees, gardens and houses.

We felt completely safe, welcome and at home and would love to return one day.

Me and my fiance had the fortunate opportunity to stay at their beautiful home a few days after Christmas. Photos do not do it justice!
Lincoln and Teddy the doggies were super excited to see us, even Rory the cat came to say hello. The three of them were all friendly and all loved fusses and attention. 
The little village (5 minute drive away) has lots of charity shops, food shops, cafes and various beautiful restaurants/bars. There are also plenty of nature walks close by.
All communication was lovely, we had a phone call before my stay, and texts on the run up and during, which was really nice.
If you get the chance to stay here, you won't be disappointed, and have a lovely stay 🥰
