Dianne and David are a lovely couple who made us feel extremely welcome and even cooked dinner for us the night before the housesit, as they were leaving early the next morning. They have a very comfortable house in a great location. We enjoyed being able to walk along the river into Godalming which has everything you need - pubs, shops, restaurants etc. The surrounding area has lots to explore and the countryside is wonderful. Jess, the cat is adorable and very easy to care for. We hope to be able to sit for them all again in the future.
Gabrielle's condo is very comfortable and well maintained. The best thing about sitting for her are Jodee and Jeter, two adorable siblings who love their food and their toys (especially the laser). They are very clean and not demanding and were a joy to be with. It was especially fortuitous to sit for Gabrielle, as my son is getting married near there later this year and I was able to investigate rehearsal dinner venues during my visit. I would highly recommend sitting for Gabrielle and you have to investigate the cute town of Clinton. The shops and food choices are very unique. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about sitting for Gabrielle!
On the day of our sit, we arrived early afternoon and was greeted by David the homeowner. The home was an older home constructed around 1935 and had been extensively remodeled and renovated. The home was in very good condition. The home is situated on a large residential lot and is close to shopping and services. David introduced us to the three cats and Fonda the dog. We found them to be very delightful and came in and out of the house at their own leisure. Their dog Fonda was a sweetheart to say the least. Kerin arrived later from work. They customarily sit in the rear yard in the evenings with a camp fire blazing. We spent the first evening visiting and finally called it quits around 11:30 PM at night as they had to be up early in the morning and get on the road. The stay was very short as they were only going to be gone for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with David and Kerin, and all of the pets were absolute Angels. We want to thank them for their hospitality. It was a great experience for both of us. We would be honored to do another house sit for them in the future.
House-sitting for Clara's and Marcel's cat, and overseeing their charming appartment, was both a pleasure and a privilege. They extended a heartfelt welcome and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout my stay, offering comprehensive instructions on all pertinent matters. Additionally, they were consistently available and promptly responded to any updates or inquiries I sent. Their cat was a breeze to look after and provided delightful, affectionate companionship, showing affection the moment you step in. ♥️. Clara and Marcel are fortunate to reside in a beautiful and comfortable apartment located 15 minutes by public transportation from the historic heart of Düsseldorf. I'm deeply grateful for this unique experience. Every moment of my stay in your home was cherished, and I eagerly anticipate nurturing our ongoing friendship with both of you and the endearing Pepe.
Arthaud and I spent a great time in Grandvaux. We met Jen and Ian the evening before they left and they made sure we had all of the information about the house and how to take good care of Penny during their leave. Penny was very adorable and really well behaved. We loved taking her out and play with her and her toys. The house is incredibly beautiful it truly felt like time has stopped for a weekend. We would be happy to come back.
Bob and Katja are a wonderful couple with a lovely home in the suburbs of Brussels. They were very accommodating and kind, and even made us vegan-friendly tacos for dinner! Their cats, Sammy and Lalie, were very affectionate and a breeze to take care of! Highly recommended house sit overall :)
