Haley came to sit our pets with her two friends, Josiah and Pat and they were all amazing. They spent a week in our house and took wonderful care of all our pets and house. We have two elderly pets who need medicines twice a day and a bit if special care. All was brilliantly taken care off. I had no worries whatsoever. Even our big dog, who is special in many ways too, was happy and felt safe and loved by them all. Communication was easy and the house was left tidy and in good order. I'd invite them over to watch the gang and house anytime. Big thank you to all 3 of them!
We had a great time house and pet-sitting for Raphael. Raphael communicated with us perfectly and we actually met up with him and his little pup Julius, a few weeks before the stay. Julius is a great dog to look after - even though he’s still a puppy he is very chilled most of the day, although he likes a play now and then, and he releases all of his energy when he sees his friends in the park and woods across the road. Raphael’s place is homely and comfortable and very well maintained. There’s also parking and it’s a short walk to the railway station. All in all we had a great time and couldn’t have asked for anything more from Raphael.
We had the great privilege to sit for Kato and Darcy. We arrived the day before to meet them prior so they could go over everything. We truly enjoyed the conversation, we wish we could have been able to spend more time with them. They have a beautiful home and very comfortable. The sun room quickly became our spot to relax and enjoy Malone and Raffi. Their home is located perfectly to enjoy all of the surrounding area without having to drive very far at all. Malone is such a snuggle buddy and never leaves your side, he loves attention which we gladly gave. He gets very excited when he sees his leach as he loves his walks and will go as often as he can. Raffi kinda keeps to himself initially, but warms up pretty quickly. He won’t snuggle with you but he loves his belly rubbed. They both have the best personality’s and we truly do miss them. We had a great time and if you ever get the opportunity to sit for them dont pass it up! Kevin and Angela
I absolutely loved my time with Ruby - she’s a very sweet and intelligent pup and warmed up to me very quickly. Lisa was absolutely wonderful and her home was lovely - I would sit for Ruby again in a heartbeat!
Michelle's house and dogs were absolutely lovable and enjoyable. The house has beautiful floor to ceiling views of Cape Fear marshes and creek, with a large screened in sleeping porch on the side, and a nice dock to sit on, read, watch the tidal changes of the creek. I can't begin to explain how personable each of the four dogs were; we all piled in bed each night (my choice), snuggling up. Feeding was very easy, there is a fenced in yard for them to play in and a nice area to take the dogs (2 little ones in a stroller😊) on a stroll. Michelle's written instructions and description of personality and feeding habit of each dog helped immensely the first few days. Even though they were in another continent, 5 hours ahead, communication was easy using what's app. I enjoyed my 10 days with this family and don't hesitate to recommend them as a great experience.
Pamela and her adorable Bengal, Nala, are just amazing. Pam is warm and welcoming, leaving treats behind for me to enjoy — it truly felt like a staycation! Nala is independent and friendly. Within a few hours of me being there she warmed up, and we would have lengthy conversations (she is chatty!). Once she's comfortable with you, she LOVES to be pet and have her neck scratched; if you're not sure, not to worry — she'll come to you and tell you! Pamela's home is a stylishly-decorated rancher (no stairs) in West Vancouver. If you work from home, you have many optional workspaces: two living rooms, two dining tables, an office and even an outdoor patio sectional. If you need to buy anything, Park Royal shopping centre is mere minutes away by car (also near the seawall path!). I came home today so rested, while I miss sweet Nala already! Gen is great! She’s friendly, communicative, and made me feel at home. I enjoyed her minimalist designed, new construction townhome. As for Kali… she’s awesome! She is also very communicative- she’ll make sure you don’t miss her feeding time and also alert you when it’s time to sit on the couch and cuddle 😆She was a great companion for my stay! Gunnison is a rural college town. I was there over break so nothing was ever busy or crowded. But there a variety of restaurants, a couple grocery stores, a Walmart (not the super/big/full grocery version), coffee shops (I really liked Mocha’s), and a great library that has free yoga and meditation classes. The same are offered at the Crested Butte library on different days (VERY small, old school library- quaint). Sitting in the G library and watching it snow outside was gorgeous and tranquil! During the holiday season Main St is lit up at night- cute, festive, welcoming. There is a river or creek a 10 min walk from Gen’s place. Really peaceful and beautiful, and I highly recommend Pine Creek and Dillon Pinacle trails in the nearby national rec area!

Took our French Bulldog for the 1st time , TERRIBLE experience!!!! She was panting so hard when I picked her up that I was terrified!!! She was probably out in the hot sun with nobody paying attention to her!!! When you pick up your dog , the people don’t even acknowledge that you’re there, they turn the other way!!!! AWFUL experience!!!
Absolutely love Cubby's! Great staff, super friendly and our dogs seem to like them. They do great work grooming our dogs and have great prices. They can get a bit busy so make sure you schedule accordingly.
Our son Dutch is an only child and we wanted a fun and safe place to occasionally send him, where he could bond and play with other dogs. We are so happy we discovered Cubby’s Canine Castle! Because our boy had never played with other dogs, he was a little shy at first. The staff at Cubby’s realized this and took the time to slowly integrate him with the pack, as opposed to just tossing him in and having him figure it out on his own. They actually took the time to make it a positive experience for him. During those few weeks they called me several times to update me on his progress. He’s so happy when he goes there. He comes home completely drained from playing all day. (Lucky for us). I was a little nervous at first, but after a few weeks I’m completely satisfied with my decision. In addition to using their daycare services I’ll be utilizing them for boarding this spring. We could not be more pleased. The staff at Cubby’s really care for the pets they take care of. All of the employees are extremely kind and friendly. Thank you to the staff!

We recently signed up for a 10-session Stay & Train at Cubby’s for our dog. Sasha, the professional dog trainer, who works with our dog for 30 minutes during an intensive training session while she is at daycare, is outstanding. After each session, she sends detailed training reports and video clips from the training, which are very helpful for continuing the training at home. They also show how much our dog enjoys the training games and exercises with her. After only a few sessions, we are already seeing significant progress in our dog’s behavior and leash manners. We highly recommend this program!
We recently began taking our young dog, Piper, to Shannon at Doggy Getaways for both daycare and overnight stays, and we are absolutely thrilled with the experience! Piper, being a bit shy around new dogs, was initially nervous, but Shannon’s incredible patience and nurturing approach quickly put her at ease. Now, Piper can hardly contain her excitement every time we pull up to Shannon’s place—her tail starts wagging the moment we arrive! I brought my 2 dogs to Doggy Getaways for day care and overnight care. My one dog is still gaining confidence with other dogs and Shannon was amazing with helping him acclimate to being away from home and with new dogs. The outdoor space is large and safe- like a fenced in dog park, and the indoor spaces are homey, safe, and roomy. I feel great leaving my dogs there. Shannon sent pictures when we were away and stayed in great communication. So happy to have found Doggy Getaways!
This is truly a vacation for the dogs lucky enough to stay here! My dog is a nervous rescue and she is completely at ease at Doggy Getaways, they treat her like family and can accommodate all of her quirks. She is treated like a queen and loves her doggy friends there as well! I love knowing that my pup is having the best time, and really appreciate the text and photo updates. Shannon is a true expert in dog care and health and also truly loves her guests like they are her own pets.
We were extremely pleased with the loving care Shannon provided our Border Collie Hershey. She was able to get plenty of exercise in a sizable, fenced-in back yard, which she needed, and seemed to enjoy the company of the other dogs her size. Communication was excellent with plenty of great photos. Will definitely call on Shannon again to watch her.

Our fur baby, Toby is a high maintenance mutt. He’s on medication 3 times a day for epilepsy and has high anxiety, especially when separated from us and in unfamiliar locations. We worry a lot about leaving him, and only have a select few people that we’re comfortable doing so with. Shannon not only made us feel comfortable leaving him with her, but Toby was CLEARLY very comfortable with her. He looked so happy and at ease in every picture update she sent while we were away. He made it through the stay seizure free, and we were able to enjoy our weekend away without worrying about him. We’re so grateful to Shannon and can’t wait to use her again in the future and would recommend her to anybody looking for a loving, attentive sitter for their dog.
We had such a wonderful experience with Shannon and Doggy Getaways! This was our first time leaving our pup for over a week and within the first day, my nerves were calmed from the moment I met Shannon and got to see her home. When stepping into her home, you could not see an ounce of dog hair or even smell any dogs. You would not believe that there were over five dogs staying there! During our pup’s stay, Shannon sent me multiple updates a day with pictures of our fur baby. I could tell our pup was having the time of her life being at Doggy Getaways. She’s a very social dog and I like the fact that Shannon interviewed both myself and my dog to make sure we were going to be a good fit for herself and her other (fur) clients. A true testament to the fact that she does not take any dog and considers the safety of everybody. I also like the fact that in addition to boarding, should I need it, my dog can stay just for the day. That’s a nice option to have because you never know what life will throw at you! I am looking forward to using Doggy Getaways again because I know that will probably be the easiest part of planning any future trips; knowing that my pup will be well taken care of, loved, and in good hands!
Shannon has watched our puppy and 15 year old dog several times. While I was not worried about the puppy, I was nervous to place our senior dog with someone new. But Shannon quickly put my fear to rest as she is especially sensitive to an older dog’s needs. Shannon also sends daily updates and pictures to keep us up to date on how the dogs are doing. Our puppy loves going there with so many new friends to play with. It takes a lot to leave my dogs in someone else’s care but Shannon has made it easy!!

We love Howls and Meows! Colleen takes care of Harper like she’s one of her own. Harper starts to bark as soon as she’s pulling in the driveway and never has any hesitation when we leave. Colleen is responsive, sends us pics/videos and has a great Instagram account where we see can what’s happening with our pup while we’re away. Best thing is that Harper always has a friend at Howls and Meows like Squeegie and Biggie Paws :-)
We were initially looking for a place to bring our puppy for overnight boarding that didn't seem like 'doggie jail', and we have been so happy with Howls and Meows! Our crazy dog is definitely more comfortable in their home-like environment than she would be in a kennel. The pricing makes sense, and the business owner has consistently taken great care of our girl when we are out of town. Their flexibility for boarding, overnight in-home sitting, and ability to care for our cats when needed makes it an easy choice!
I have two cats Laverne and Shirley. Colleen is absolutely fantastic! She is always available and very professional. Whenever she is pet sitting she always texts me videos and pictures. She also lets me know how my girls are doing. My one cat Vern is very shy and hides when anyone comes over. Colleen was able to build a relationship with Vern so that she is comfortable. My girls love her! I highly recommend using Colleen and her company for your pet sitting needs!

Colleen and her business has been such an absolute blessing to our family since we brought our puppy home two months ago. As my father in law says, "She's like the Mary Poppins of dog walkers!" Colleen radiates positivity and kindness and I think she adores our puppy just as much as he loves her. Not only is Colleen always dependable she reliable, she has wonderful communication in updates for our puppy, goes above and beyond by setting up puppy playdates, and has even helped out with little things around the house while she's over (bringing up trashcans, cleaning up after the cat--- she's simply amazing). A couple weeks ago we had a family medical emergency. Colleen was so compassionate and incredible. She came back after her normal hours, packed up our puppy and his things, and boarded him at her place for a few days while we dealt with our emergency. Never did she ask for specifics on when I would be picking up our dog, or bog us and down with questions and demands. We just felt understanding and care from her, and it was such a relief knowing our puppy was in the best hands and we didn't need to worry about a thing. She even sent cute little photo updates on our puppy that were a silver lining in a otherwise very bad time for us! We are so beyond happy with Howls & Meows and can't recommend them enough. Give it a shot and see just how quickly Colleen becomes more than just a dog walker, but a part of your family!
We found Colleen through a Google search, gave her a call, and based on her knowledge, experience, and confidence, we decided to try it out. We went and met with her, saw her home and yard, and were reassured this would be much better than leaving our puppy at a kennel. We were right. She's great, a pack leader so our dog is always safe, and just a nice person. Her rates are reasonable and our dog always comes home happy and tired.
Colleen has gone above and beyond taking care of our Frenchie while we were away. She truly treats these dogs as if they were her own. This was our first time leaving our pup and she checked in everyday, communicated about necessary things, and just gave our dog so much love. Can’t recommend her enough!!

Colleen is professional, communicative, super reliable, flexible, honest, and LOVES pets, especially our dog. We work and our dog is often home alone during the day. Colleen is great. She's really in tune with reading dog body language and genuinely loves dogs. She will set up a meet and greet with your dog and hers to make sure everyone will get along. I ended up really appreciating this part, as it made me feel a lot better about leaving my 10 month old puppy for a week. My puppy was actually excited to be dropped off afterwards, because she was excited to play with her new friend Squeegee. She was really responsive and the rates were reasonable. I would definitely take my dog here again.
Colleen Berkery came highly recommended to us by our Veterinarian and they were right!! Colleen is both responsibile and caring, which are the two most important qualities when looking for a dog walker/sitter. Colleen also knows that we all have crazy schedules these days and she’s very responsive in working with us. Our puppy, Fitz, loves her and we know he’s in great hands when he’s with Colleen. LeeAnn and Karen are awesome. We have a reactive German Shepard and this is the only place that he likes going to and we feel comfortable leaving Jimmy for prolonged time. Truly, the people here care about dogs and not just in it for the $. Would recommend to everyone!
While I am not big in writing reviews, and this is quite possibly my first ever - I felt the need after Leann went out of her way to accommodate and help out. While traveling in the area from up North, I had lined up a sitter for a a few hours a day over the course of two days for my 6 month old Malinois. After the sitter plans fell through I took to google to find a local kennel with a hope and a prayer. And Leann made that prayer come true. Extremely pleasant on the phone and very welcoming - she said to come on in and her staff would help out. Dropping Kacey off, Karen instantly met me and was extremely inviting and energetically pleasant. Karen took me to were Kacey was going to be housed for a few hours and I took note on how clean the entire place was. It wouldn’t surprise me if my Kacey - being in a new environment for the very first time - was a disruption to their normal operating schedule - but they never let on. This place checks all the boxes - Professional, Friendly, Experienced and a pleasure to deal with.
I am so thankful Nightwatch Kennel was recommended to me for my Bernese Mountain Dog, Lucky. I don't have to board him very often, but when I do it is such a relief to know he is in good hands. Lucky is always happy when we arrive at Nightwatch and when I pick him up it is always clear he has been well taken care of. Leanne and her staff are professional and knowledgeable, and they show real care for the dogs who stay there. Thank you!

We have taken our German Shepard to another kennel and when we picked him up he was a hot mess. I was nervous this time to kennel him again but the staff at Nightwatch was amazing. When we got him THIS TIME, he hardly wanted to come home he had so much fun. Thank you to the staff! 100% would send our Shepherd to you guys again!
Had a great first experience with them and had to wait 3 weeks past his groom time because they were so busy. Finally the day came and I drove there at 8 AM only to get a phone call the groomer had car trouble and was canceling. No back up or we will squeeze you in somewhere. She just said she’d call me in a few days to re-schedule. I am coming from a half hour away with a dog that is very nervous in the car and was freaking out the whole way home. Very disappointed and not sure if I will go back.
Lynn was wonderful with Arthur! She was so nice with my wife on the phone and cut Arthur just like we wanted. We are so happy with the results and will definitely be back. It’s safe to say we found our new groomer.
This is a wonderful place for dogs to stay when they have to be away from home. The staff is extremely loving and our dogs come home exhausted from all the fun they have. Every time we return, our puppies can not wait to get inside. We highly recommend NightWatch!!!
The girls that work there, are great with the dogs, and are friendly and polite with the clients. The prices are reasonable. They do very nice clip jobs, and your dogs comes out smelling great.
Buds always takes excellent care of my pups! They are reliable, trustworthy, and they even message us with updates through the portal and leave us note cards about their visit. We will never use another dog walker!
Buds have gone way above and beyond my expectations. I couldn't walk my two husky/akita mixes by myself as they always competed with whose in front of the other. I can now walk both dogs with a loose leash and they are always looking at me for commands. When we first requested the service they worked with both dogs separately in order to get the dogs comfortable with them and get to know their good/bad habits. They asked us what we wanted out of their service and presented a plan on how they would go about it. This was not what I expected. My dogs are beyond excited when they go for their walks and have developed a true relationship with Tori. If your dogs are your family, you'll understand how important this is to us. I'd give them a 10 star if I could!!!

I cannot say enough positive things about Shauna and her team at Buds. On the businesses side - I have never been met with a more professional and courteous team in my life. They will do everything to make sure their communication is top tier and 100% transparent. Everyone takes time to listen to your needs & concerns. On the dog side… wow. Just wow! We have rescues who are reactive and cautious. He is, as Shauna and her team have nicely put it, a “challenge dog.” I have searched high and low for a sitter who is as experienced and knowledgeable as Shauna, and I feel SO blessed to have her in my dog’s life. Her commitment and consistency to providing my dogs with the best care is unmatched. I reached out for a sitter, but the time and energy Shauna invests into my dog is more than any trainer has ever done, and is getting more results, too. We are Buds’ clients for life!!!

I love Buds! The owner and staff are amazing! I have met many of them at various events as well as have had them caring for my fur crew for over a year now. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and it is wonderful to go away and have no worries about their care. This has become especially important since my one cat recently developed diabetes. My husband loves Buds because when we are away I am not a nervous wreck! We also use them for mid day visits for the pups on long work days so there is no guilt about bored dogs doing a potty dance! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about pet behavior and can help curb bad habits while walking your pup. The owner is extremely involved In the local community and gives back by sponsoring events and raising money for local shelters and rescues. If you are looking for someone to care for your four legged family member(s) when you are not able, Buds should be your go to without a doubt!
Fantastic service! Shaunna and her team are amazing. I cannot say enough good things. We have used them for years and they are so great with our dogs. Their team is professional. My doggos LOVE THEM and are so excited when they come over. The team is even so flexible they can cover and come 3 times a day on fairly short notice (I don't recommend giving them very little notice, it's not nice, they totally saved me). 10 out of 5 stars. Highest of recommendations!
Shaunna and the Buds team are wonderful! We were worried about what we would do with our puppy while we were at work during the day. However, our initial meeting with Shaunna put our minds at ease. She answered all of our questions before we even asked them. Buds visits with our Mia several times a week. The service was great while we worked outside of the home, but it has been so helpful during this pandemic to give Mia walks during the day while my husband and I work at home. They are so sweet with Mia and very respectful of our home. They have an app that makes it super easy to communicate with them, and they are extremely responsive. They are also SO flexible! Due to changes in our schedule, we often have to cancel or reschedule a visit, and they couldn't be more accommodating, even when it's last-minute! Mia loves her Buds, and so do we!
Everyone at Buds takes such good care of my dog. And I’ve been fostering for about a year now and Buds has been so amazing with the foster dogs. Each one is different and the walker helps them get used to a routine, walking on a leash, and any other things that specific dog might need to learn. Buds has been amazing to help me manage my career and also take care of all the precious dogs. I’m grateful for all of their help with the fosters - Buds should take part of the credit for helping to save these dogs!
Anisha was very accommodating since I called her later than I usually do to schedule care for my cats. She was very friendly and sent Rachel over to meet with me and the cats, although they didn't come out for introductions. 😀 When Rachel visited she even pictures to me. Both Anisha and Rachel were happy to discuss what I was looking for. I will definitely call Anisha again to sit my cats.
I was traveling for about a week and I had peace of mind the whole time knowing Anisha was there to take care of my cat. Excellent service and great communication at a fair rate!

Anisha and her team took amazing care of our Aussie, Scout, while we were away on vacation. Scout is a nervous dog with lots of energy, so we were nervous having people she wasn’t familiar with come take care of her, but Anisha accommodated us by coming to meet Scout and introduce one of her team members before we left so Scout could get to know them. They played frisbee with her multiple times a day and followed somewhat lengthy and maybe over-done instructions on my part :) we are so appreciative of how caring and thorough Pets Companion PA was when caring for our pup and we especially enjoyed the daily updates and photos.
We found Pets Companion online and used their cat sit service recently for a 11-day trip. Anisha (owner) helped set up the visits easily and quickly, and Rachel (sitter) provided excellent service during her visits to the house. We have 4 kitties, and it has been a challenge for previous sitters to keep the litter boxes clean. Rachel did a great job, and she also watered the plants and helped with some unexpected incidental tasks around the house. It was also very comforting to get photos with each visit, so we are ensured the cats are doing well. We really appreciate the help from both Anisha and Rachel and would hire them again!
They did a wonderful job with my anxious pup. They were very professional and I trust them to take the best care of my dog when I'm away. I will definitely be hiring them for my next trip!

Anisha does a fantastic job. She made sure to meet our dog first and that gave us a chance to be sure that she and our dog felt comfortable with each other. She is professional and quick to answer text messages. I also appreciate that she sends us a photo of our dog every time she is there to take him out. It’s nice to see those photos when we are away and missing him. She does a great job managing her business!
I don't think there's enough positive things I could say about this daycare. I was looking for a safe and highly maintained environment where my 5-month puppy can socialize and play and Playful Paws has blown me away. They require vaccinations and preventatives which is greatly reassuring for interacting with other pups safely. The owner and staff are incredibly attentive to all the dogs and for only having been there a week, my pup is always excited to go; I've also noticed amazing progress in my her behavior and energy self-regulation!! Very affordable compared to other options around the area and just an overall awesome place. Bringing my dog here is definitely one of the best decisions I've made as a new pup owner and I would highly recommend it for anyone considering it.
We have been using Playful Paws for a few years now, they are AWSOME! Bianca is great! She, and others working there truly care about your dog (dogs for us). We trust her and everyone there with our dogs without question. We have one that thinks he owns the place, and another that is losing eyesight in one eye, and epilepsy. Both are managed in a way that is best for them and as if they are her own family. Best and most trustworthy dog dare care or any type of service used for that matter.
My dog loves going to Playful Paws. He gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. Bianca is friendly and accommodating. I know I can trust my dog is in good hands. I love that they post pictures on Facebook of the dogs. Highly recommended doggy daycare.. your dog will be happy and tired!
The staff is very pleasant, and very willing to help. I left my pitbull with them the other week, while I was away for work in California, and they treated my baby excellently. Usually he gets very nervous, and there are more than a few accidents that happen when I take him back home, but Marvin was surprisingly very calm when I took him home this time. I think having other dogs around to socialize with made him more comfortable, but it helps that the staff is so calming and supportive.
If you want your dog to be treated as if they were at home, this is the place. The owners are absolutely amazing and truly love your pet. The dogs have a clean, large in door area to play in and a fun playground outside. The owners will often post pictures/ videos on their Facebook page, so that you can see how much fun your little one is having during the day. Our dog loves it so much here that she runs back in when she sees us coming ~ she doesn't want to stop playing!
My dog is always so happy when we pull in the Parking lot and tired when we leave. It's perfect. My dog feels right at home and the owners treat her like she is one of theirs. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is!
The daycare is very well run. The staff is very kind to the customers and make friends with every person that comes in. They care for all dogs that come in. Definitely recommend this place to all people looking for daycare for their dogs.
Everyone is friendly and they care about your dogs. My boy comes home exhausted each time which is what we need and when we say you're going to school he gets super excited.
We take our doberman once a week and he loves this place. They love him too. Family run and owned.

We just picked up our German Shepherd, Odin, after a week long stay at Hickory. This is his second time boarding (hasn’t been boarded since 2022) since he is a very anxious dog. We were so happy to hear that Odin enjoyed his time at Hickory, he ate, took his meds, played and got along well with the staff. We also received an update mid week from his trainer, Gordon, which we appreciated! We felt like Odin was very well taken care of and safe throughout his stay! Knowing how well he was looked after we are more than comfortable coming back for daycare and boarding! Thank you for keeping our anxious boy happy and healthy!!
Been taking our dog for grooming to this place for years. The staff really enjoy being with the dogs and do a great job — flexible to whatever you need. Highly recommend based on our experience.
Brought my dog here for a nail clipping for the first time and it went great! My dog does NOT like getting her nails done. Has to be muzzled, and given a sedative before hand because she is just that bad. But at hickory springs they just had a brand new harness installed for these kind of situations and it made a big difference! She was still a little crazy, but you can see the amount of care they put in to make sure she was calm and still do a good job on her nails which I really appreciate. They were friendly, talkative and patient with her. It was reasonably priced and I feel comfortable bringing my dog here again. I HIGHLY recommend them for any grooming needs!
BEST DECISION EVER TO MOVE TO HICKORY SPRINGS FARM OVER 20 YEARS AGO. We were referred to transfer to Hickory Springs by friends and they were right! I absolutely love and trust Hickory Springs Pet Farm . . . they are truly our extended family to our dog, Puff Daddy. They are kind and handle him with care. The entire staff has been wonderful for many many years - I have never been disappointed. (our Beloved Puff Daddy passed away right after his 18th birthday). The Hickory Spring Farm Team prepared me for the inevitable - they treated us with sympathy and kindness. The Groomer, Amy EXCEPTIONAL she is wonderful and very talented and so friendly. Della has always be a treasure to my family in making sure we get the best opportunities and pricing whenever we boarded Puff Daddy - she looks out for his best interests and always calls me whenever there is an issue to alert me - even if I am on vacation. Now they are taking care of my daughter's dogs: Elmo & Vida The exact same treatment - AWESOME CARE! I love it!
Our dog is always safe here. At home he is pretty reactive and he gets anxious outside, but we never have a problem dropping him off. I recommend this facility for boarding! We have also had his nails done here while he was boarded and were happy with the results.
My family has been leaving our beloved dogs with Hickory Springs for years, and always had a wonderful experience. In the most recent visit, we dropped off our three dogs, but changed plans and needed to pick one up that very same day. They were so understanding and accommodating, flexibility for which we were so grateful. We continue to be big fans!
I feel that my dog was in better hands and in a better environment than other kennels in our area, and all for similar pricing. Making a last minute reservation for a holiday weekend was surprisingly easy, he had a great time, and the staff is great. When we need to board him again, we will be back! The longer drive was absolutely worth it, thanks for giving my guy a great weekend with lots of play time and extra exercise.
We have taken three previous dogs and our current German Shepherd dog to Hickory Springs Farm Kennel over the past 25 years and been very pleased with the care our dogs have received. When we have had special requests for their care, they have gladly accommodated our needs. Our pets are always in excellent condition when we picked them up and in good spirits. We highly recommend Hickory Springs Farm Kennel!
Hickory Springs Pet Farm (HS), has been absolutely wonderful! My first interaction with them was when we first brought home our rescue dog, Rudy. He really needed to break the habit of nipping at our children when he was too excited, so I contacted HS about training. We began working with Gordon and because of his expertise and kindness, Rudy became a wonderful family dog. We did private lessons and group. I highly recommend both! We have also sent Rudy to their Doggy Daycare which he LOVES. Whenever we turn into the driveway he gets super excited, and he practically runs out of the car into their front door! Della is usually there to greet him and she is awesome. She really knows each dog and is able to separate them accordingly- not just by size but also temperament. She has reminded me when we needed to renew his license, reports on his activities, and had even given him a ride when we were Ina pinch. Can't say enough good things! Boarding overnight? We've done that too. Rudy has stayed with them for a week and also some overnights. He gets walked, eats their yummy food, and usually finishes up with more Doggy Daycare playtime. There are so many options for the dogs! Lastly, the grooming. We've been super satisfied with the groomers there. He's gone in looking a hot mess and left looking so handsome! Amy knows EXACTLY what we want! Cocker Spaniels really need proper grooming and we know they can do it. The rest of the staff is great too. Our interactions have always been positive and respectful. Sure, things can sometimes go wrong- but the staff cares about their work and these beloved pets. I've never felt like I wasn't heard if I had a problem (which have been very few), and resolution is quick and fair. What more can you ask for?? We have been quite happy with HS and continue to recommend them to our friends- who have also been satisfied with their experiences.
