Matt and Amber took excellent care of our home and our cat Callie Sue for 3 months this winter. Our Boise escape got off to a horrible start. We had a car accident while driving out of town and had to return home. We stayed in our guest room for 4 days while Matt and Amber slept in the master bedroom. Awkward? It could have been, but we all got along so well it was one of the best parts of the vacation.
Matt and Amber made us feel good about leaving our home and kitty with them. They kept in contact with us the whole time and sent pictures of Callie enjoying herself. We were a little jealous because she never looked happier.
Matt was excellent at doing winter chores around the house and yard and kept a sharp eye out for problems such as ceiling leaks caused by snow buildup. Amber, meanwhile, kept all the rooms and the kitchen in immaculate condition.
All three of us miss them and would welcome them back for a sit anytime they are available.

It was a pleasure coming to take care of Mildred. She’s a very sweet & placid soul who sleeps a lot, so she is very low maintenance in some ways, while requiring extra patience & care in others, as an older dog who sometimes gets confused. I appreciated her slower pace and getting to work remotely in her company, and I very much enjoyed our slow, daily ambles around the block. Naomi sent really clear, thorough instructions & videos and was always very responsive and with great humour. I felt at home and slept so well, as the bed is super comfy! I’d love to come & sit Mildred again :)

I had a great time with Obi! He’s got a funny little personality, but is really well behaved and even does tricks for treats :) We enjoyed some long walks around the amazingly beautiful neighborhood, laid out in the sun by the lagoon together and even snuggled with some evening tv. He’s pretty independent but will let you know when he wants something, and is usually pretty straightforward about what he’s asking for.
Julie, Jordan and the fam are so sweet and accommodating! They made sure I had everything I could want or need to be comfortable and had a detailed list of instructions which I could refer to if I forgot anything. They were always really easy to get in touch with and arranged for everything to be taken care of while they were away, including the landscape architects, pest control and house cleaners. Everything was so lovely and quiet…really like a dream!

Living reasonably close-by, we were able to meet Sally, Paul, and the boys before the sit which helped us to get to know them and the area.

Sally & Paul were both very welcoming, friendly and gave us a tour of their comfortable and spacious home.

They also took us out for a walk with the boys to show us the local routes, which was much appreciated.

Llew & Gruff are relaxed, well-trained, lovable boys and we really enjoyed spending time with them. Gruff would say hello each morning which we found adorable.

They are both very well-behaved in public with people, and other doggies, so you can take them anywhere.

It’s a lovely area and having access to regular trains to the centre within a 2 minute walk is an added bonus.

Thank you Paul and Sally for choosing us and letting us spend time with Llew and Gruff.

We recently completed a pet and house sit in Vienna, and overall, it was a positive experience. The apartment was nice and clean, located in a great area with easy access to everything we needed. Flo and Ben, the owners, were fantastic communicators, always responsive and helpful.

We took care of two adorable dogs, Nelly and Koni. Nelly is incredibly affectionate and loves to snuggle, though she's afraid of loud voices. During one walk, she got frightened by a loud noise and managed to pull herself out of her collar, which was quite scary. We immediately reported it to Flo and Ben, and they were super helpful, promptly sending us money to buy a harness for her.

Koni, on the other hand, was a bit cautious at first but started to warm up to us after a few days. He eventually became really affectionate and is truly a sweet boy. Koni also loves his walks and is really easy to walk with, making those outings very enjoyable. However, he was reactive toward Nelly and sometimes towards us as well. There were moments when Koni would suddenly start barking at Nelly, which felt like a jumpscare every time! Thankfully, the fights were easily breakable, but due to Koni's reactivity, we would recommend this sit to more experienced sitters who are comfortable managing reactive dogs.

Despite these challenges, we enjoyed our time in Vienna and appreciated the owners' support throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic time sitting for Pauline. She's really friendly, was a great help to us, and even brought us a gift from her trip!

The house is spacious and beautiful. We had our own suite on the third floor with everything we needed. It was a wonderful experience.

Louis is an adorable little boy! He loves cuddles, fuss, and just overall attention and treats. He's the sweetest! He does have separation anxiety, so you need to stay at home with him or take him along. He's great on walks and is welcome in almost every shop.

Tigger is also an attention lover, especially in the morning. Don’t be surprised if he pokes your nose to wake you up. He's so sweet but far more independent than Louis.

We are really grateful to have met all of them. We already miss them so much!

I’m glad my first TH experience was for Ryuko and Michael, two very kind and interesting people. Ryuko provided clear, thorough instructions for the care of Angel, the house, and the plants. She always responded quickly when I texted her with a question. Angel is a great dog, loving and funny and oh-so-curious, and the description the listing gives of him is accurate. You will fall in love with him, too. The house is gorgeous, spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the immediate area is full of interesting stuff to do. Taking the train to Boston was also easy to do if you have a car to get to the station. I was sorry to have to say goodbye to Angel and the house! I highly recommend sitting for Ryuko, Michael, and Angel.
