Rachel sent pictures and communicated very well. She gave Black Night a bath during her stay, and his coat was soft and smooth, so he had lots brushing. He was happy to play with her fur baby. I would have her stay again.
I had a great time taking care of Missy and Lewis. They're both low maintenance gentle cats who don't ask for much except some attention and time on their "catio". Missy is totally fearless of strangers while Lewis is more suspicious at first, but turns into a big love bug after a few days! Strathcona is a cute and leafy neighbourhood, and there is a great coffee shop literally around the corner from Katelyn and David's place! The house is comfy but gets hot in summer since only the bedroom has AC. Fans make the heat manageable though, and there is a small outdoor deck. Getting downtown, and to other areas like Stanley Park, Kitsilano, etc. is easy with either public transit or the provided bicycle. Katelyn and David were great at providing information and communicating with me. Despite my flight arriving super late because of a cancellation, they managed to make it work. I had a wonderful time exploring beautiful Vancouver and hope to come back to see those lovely kitties some day!
Beautiful puppies, best behaviour and have nothing but love to give. Location was quite isolated as expected so would recommend a car. We had a great week away regardless and had everything we needed at the house :)
I loved staying at Donna’s house. Best housesit ever. The views of the Olympic mountains were beyond spectacular. Karma was so affectionate and playful - a complete joy! The home was beautiful and comfortable and Donna’s communication was superb. I would sit again here in a heartbeat!
What a wonderful pair Geaorge and Daisy were, such a joy to care for, not forgetting al their furry and feathered friends. And the bonus of a curry on arrival, and an yummy banana cake to keep us going.!! Looking forward to our return in Januray.
We really enjoyed our month stay with Olive in Quarndon. Julie and Will are very welcoming and we really enjoyed meeting them before they set off on their travels. Communication with Julie was easy from start to finish and they left lots of information about Olive, the house, walks, and the local area. Their home is lovely, clean and very comfortable. Now for the star of the sit, Olive, she is just perfect, great walking both on and off lead, good recall and no problems with other dogs. We have had lots of lovely adventures with her exploring the local towns and countryside. She is just as comfortable walking in towns as she is crossing fields and walking in the Peak District nothing phases her. At home she loves chilling in her bed and playing with her toys. We would definitely recommend sitting for Julie, Will and Olive and we hope to see them next year.
I am obsessed with kitty and Lou. They are so sweet and so easy to take care of. Kitty loves her play toy and likes to pretend she’s hiding and jump out. Lou has no sense of personal space and loves to be as close as possible to you. He’s a giant teddy bear. Kelsey’s house is so adorable. All the art in her house is carefully curated by local Austin artists. Her house matches the Austin vibe and she’s so close to downtown. Highly recommend taking care of these animals and staying at Kelsey’s humble abode.
