Hayley
I absolutely loved this sit! Hayley and Dom have been very kind and easy to communicate with from beginning. The bunnies were absolutely adorable and always came for their strokes. I really felt sad when leaving them but hopefully will see them again and also meet Hayley and Dom in Person :) The apartment was extremely cozy and you'll find everything that you need!

Chris and Kara
We were so happy that Chris and Kara chose us to house sit for them. Their home was so lovely, clean and tidy when we arrived and waiting for us was a New Zealand bottle of wine. The house manual that was on Trusted House sitter site was full of all the info we needed to have a relaxed sit and the conversation with Chris and Kara before hand was ideal. Chatting with Chris and Kara made the hand over so easy and they also told us where to park our car. Le Chat is an amazing puss cat. He was so affectionate and was more than happy to reminded me of what he needed in the way of attention.
Thanks again for choosing us we really enjoyed it.

Annette
Annette's lovely pets and home are amazing and I enjoyed house-sitting here very much! "Murphy," the (adorable & energetic) dog, plus "Nora" (the super-cute cat) are absolutely delightful. I enjoy exercising, so being able to take Murphy the dog for walks, with the off-leash dog park being quite nearby! Murphy is perfectly toilet-trained, and, while still being young, he is learning new commands every day (and was able to learn "left paw" & "right paw" while I was there!) He's super-smart and friendly; he loves tummy-rubs and playing fetch; he's so much fun to take care of (and reminds me of a lovely Border Collie I used to have in terms of being super-affectionate, curious, energetic and fun pet!)
Being able to relax in the evening and enjoy the beautifully designed living area, with Murphy and Nora for company while watching classic movies on Netflix was a treat as well. Annette's home is in a highly sought-after location in Melbourne, as it's close to upscale shops, parks and the iconic Brighton Beachside! If you are lucky enough to be selected to pet-sit / house-sit for Annette and her family, you will thoroughly enjoy the experience!

Madly
The day I arrived, it was my birthday. Madly and her family (Robin & three kids) prepared 2 welcoming birthday cakes. I really appreciated it because they were working and they didn't have a lot of time to pack their luggage and 3 kids' luggage. They invited me for dinner and to stay with them the night before they left. It was great to get to know them and to be given a tour of their home and instructions on how to best care for Timmy. The communication with them was every 2-3 days and it was very easy and effective.
Timmy is an adorable and hilarious kitty, super playful and loves being around human company. Although, he is easy to take care of, no needs of special diet or schedules, he is very active and you have to play a lot with him, (normally he has 3 kids who are playing with him!!).
Madly and Robin's home is wonderful, quiet and comfortable. It is near Lauriston Castle, and there are two bus stops near the home, only 2 or 3 minutes walking distance. The bus takes you to the centre of Edinburgh in 20 minutes. There aren’t restaurants around the home, but there are shops and a big Tesco supermarket very close to the home. The home has all the utensils you need. The WIFI in the ground floor is high speed and perfect to work there, but the signal on the second floor is very low (it's a good way to turn off the mobile phone and rest).
I would highly recommend this sit and would absolutely love to return and spend more time with Timmy.

Angela
There’s decent sits. There’s good sits. There’s great sits. There’s we’re better off as a community to have these members sits. And then there’s ‘Oh my God, have I died and gone to heaven, too good to be true, utopian, what have I done to deserve this blessing?!’ sits. Clearly, this one fits into the last category.

Even before the start date, Tim & Angela went above and beyond in ways that I won’t mention here lest others expect the same. Needless to say, however, that I’m positive you too will receive the kind of hospitality sitters dream of.

During my stay they were responsive, appreciative, and willing to take time to help out however they could…with a little friendly sass, of course.

Their home and surroundings are gorgeous. Dare I say perfect. You will want for nothing.

Duncan is an outdoor playground, even in January, when its temperate climate allows for walking, hiking, and biking.

Champ is a delight. Sweet, affectionate, well-trained, gentle, and so easy-going. Whether snuggled up for scritches or accompanying you on miles long forest adventures, he’s the perfect canine companion.

Vinni is a character. Adorable, vocal, and oh-so-floofy, he’ll follow you around, purs and fur, cuddling up wherever you might be. And when he’s not, he will be soon—for belly rubs or snacks—and you’ll hear his adorable thunder-paws coming as he trods down the hall.

For my sit Lilli was away on an adventure, so I can’t say much about her other than she seems a sweetie based on our one brief meeting. Knowing how A&T care for their other pets, though, I have zero doubt she’ll be a joy.

Needless to say, not only would I return, but I can’t wait to return. As someone who has lived in Vancouver, Toronto, New York, Boston, London, and has traveled the world, I can honestly say that because of this sit, Duncan, BC is now unreservedly a travel destination to which I’ll be back…as long at Angela & Tim have a sit opportunity, that is.

Clara
Clara was a great host. Her home was welcoming and she had a general idea how to care for her animals. Bella and Moose. Bella was an older dog and required much more care and attention to include lifting in order to get to the backyard to use the potty. This would have been important to know prior to agreeing to care for the older doggy. The animals did require a few different medications to take daily and an agenda written in the home would be recommended for the future. Moose was active but would calm down in the evening. Bella would breathe heavily at times through the night and sometimes made me nervous as I did not know if there was something wrong with the doggie. I thank Ms. Clara for her welcoming and wish the best for her girls Bella and Moose.
