We had a great time at this house & pet sit. Jane and Chris invited us to arrive the day before their departure. They gave us a very warm welcome and kindly cooked us a lovely evening meal. Their home is in a quiet street, very comfortable and spotlessly clean The location is great. From the front door, 5 minutes walk to a large Sainsburys supermarket, 5 minutes walk to wonderful walking areas and a 3 minute walk to the bus stop where there is a very regular bus service that gets you into Winchester city centre in 15 minutes. The star of the show is Rosie. She is a minature schnauzer and a dream to care for! She is really loving, sleeps downstairs, hardly ever barks and walks perfectly off lead. We highly recommend this sit to future sitters and hope to be able to return ourselves sometime in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was a really amazing sit. Mauricio and Lidia are super friendly and they even picked me up from Geneve, which is a 30 min. ride from their home because I had no car. The house is super big and there’s everything you need. They allowed me to use their car, they have a pool outside (but I didn‘t go inside because it was winter and it also rained 😂), they have a room with a lot of space to make yoga etc… They have so many books and also a treadmill. The neighbourhood is very quiet which is perfect for me and on every walk with the dogs I‘ve met many other people with their dogs. So it‘s also very dog friendly! 🐶☺️ I stayed always in contact with Mauricio and Lidia and they helped me with everything I needed. Once my phone didn‘t connect with the EpicView so I couldn‘t watch Netflix and Mauricio helped me out. The second night there was a big, heavy wind/storm and they told me what to do around the house and that I don‘t need to worry. Now let‘s talk about the animals. The dogs are amazing!! 🤩 They are so happy and every time I walked them we had a lot of fun. They had a third dog (Vava), which is only sometimes with them. All the 3 of them are super lovely. Becky definetly is the boss of the 3 and everytime Cookie or Vava played with another dog she got a little jeaulous but NEVER mad or aggressiv!! They are friendly and well behaved with other dogs so you can take them off the lead which makes them even happier 🤩🐶☺️ The cats are also super lovely and very independent. You just need to feed them twice a day and in the evening they like to sit on your lap 🥰🐈 I absolutely enjoyed my stay with Mauricio and Lidia and would a 100% come back!! 🥰 Thank you for the wonderful time!!
