Thanks Daisy for sharing Christmas with me! My circumstances changed last minute which meant I was able to sit for Rebecca and Elliot over the Christmas period at short notice. The house is very comfortable and situated brilliantly for access to Glasgow and its surrounding area, Loch Lomond and the west coast, Largs etc. Communication was good which helped to make this a great sit. Great location, low maintenance pet's. It was a pleasure to look after Penny's 3 cats, Isis, Tilly, and Mamma Cass. They are very low maintenance and adorable. They love spending time in the Lanai that overlooks the lake. The home is a treasure trove. Penny's added her own personal twist to the home with a beach theme and her personal memrobilla. It's a comfortable home with all the amenities and is in a great location. We were privileged to see 3 rocket launches from her front garden during our stay. Penny was very helpful with any questions and left clear instructions.
We couldn't possibly have loved this housesit more. Biff & Mimi are such a beautiful couple and greeted us with leis and a gorgeous dinner outing, and gave us a thorough introduction to the cats and neighborhood. They boys love their treats! Ollie is the shy guy (ask them for his incredible story) but we all fell in love. The house is truly a little haven and we enjoyed cooking in their kitchen and resting in their beautiful living room. Mimi was able to connect us with a yoga teacher and healer who became our friendly Oahu tour guide and gave us a truly magical experience. So grateful, we'll remember this place forever.
Pet sitting for Chico was a great experience; he is a big baby and very affectionate and just loved his walks and playing with the ball and his tug toy. Didier was a great communicator and left clear instructions and was fast to respond and very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend this sit to anyone, and you will enjoy being with Chico. The neighborhood has great trails with lots of wildlife that Chico will want to playfully chase lol.
We were warmly welcomed by Sarah, and she gave us very clear, easy-to-follow instructions. No problems at all. Nella and Dougal were really well-behaved and crept right into our hearts on Day One! It was a fantastic sit. Perfectly located too, near parks and the river. Everything we could ask for, and more. My husband took the dogs for a 5km run every other day, and he says their recall is excellent. Would love to be invited to do this sit again should the stars align and we find ourselves in London again anytime soon. Thank you Sarah.
