Kim was a great house/pet sitter. She asked questions before she came. She was on time when she arrived. She let us know how the dogs were doing, sent a picture also. She let us know that she had fed the dogs and what they still needed when we got home. The house was neat, and she had vacuumed all the dog hair up before we got home, which is a job since my dogs shed a lot. I would definitely have Kim come and sit again.
Thora is an incredibly sweet cat, especially considering what she's had to deal with lately. I gave her medications multiple times a day and she was so cooperative. She is very independent, loves being out in the garden, but can also be affectionate and playful. I loved taking care of her. Emma and Michael left very thorough instructions and we're available for any questions I had during the week. Their home is welcoming and comfortable and I loved walking along the beach every day. I would happily sit for Thora again.
I had a great time in Claudia and Faysal's beautiful apartment and in the company of the five beautiful furries! The only problem was that I wanted to bring them all home with me when I left :-) I was welcomed warmly and introduced to the cats, shown the routine and what has to be done, everything was written down as well in easy to follow instructions. Claudia and Faysal answered all my questions and were available throughout their absence, only a phone call or a text away. A wonderful place to house- and pet-sit!
I had a wonderful three weeks in Brookline taking care of Schrody and Theo. They are the sweetest cats and really easy to care for. Schrody warms up right away and Theo took several days. I miss them already. Lydia and Harini were excellent hosts. They made communication a breeze, sent a thorough welcome guide, and even left me thoughtful post it note instructions around the apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in an awesome location. I highly recommend this housesit and would come back again in a heartbeat.
I had a great stay at Seb's beautiful villa. While there were a few minor issues that one should expect when traveling to the tropics, Seb was quick to respond and active in getting the situation remedied. The view and wildlife present made it hard to leave the grounds. The dogs were quick to warm up to a new person in the house and were a source of constant joy and amusement. They are also easy to care for and the perfect combination of independent and affectionate. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would happily return for another stay.
We had a great time in Bragg Creek! Gord is a total sweetheart, and his goofy personality had us laughing the whole time. He was very well behaved both walking and just hanging out in the yard. Charity's home is wonderful and surrounded by natural beauty. We saw deer and other wildlife multiple times every day! We stayed in a private guest room with our own bathroom, and loved hanging out in all of the wonderful outdoor spaces around the house. It's hard to beat a quiet night in the hot tub on the back deck! There is a cute downtown area with some great restaurants just up the road, but we most enjoyed hanging out with Gord and enjoying the serenity. Charity's whole family was warm and welcoming, and we were delighted to find simple and clear instructions on how to take care of everything. Many thanks to everyone for a fantastic experience!
Pet sitting for the 3 furry babies, Maggie, Stanley and Muffin was a joy. And not to exclude the neat pond with 9 ducklings that will let the sitter know, where’s our grubs around 7am feeding time. Muffin is a very COOL looking cat because of her exotic eyes and the almost complete triangular markings around the nose area. Her stare/gaze can be hypnotic so be prepared to be mesmerized. Super finicky when come to her meals; avoid liver & kidney ingredients or be ready to hold her like a baby before she’ll eat. :0) Maggie is a little darling, always wanting to know, when’s the next meal and are very playful but do keep her younger taller brother Stanley in check when he’s a bit too rough. Stanley is a very CARING dog with gentle eyes. When playing fetch in the yard, Maggie would jump up and down and bark at him is because she can’t run fast enough to fetch the ball like Stanley. As the result, Stanley would stop fetching to appease his older petite sister Maggie as if he’s saying, we can do something else OK sis. An interesting part of pet sitting when there’s a mixed of feline & canine in the same house are the dynamics and interactions between them. Muffin the cat would allowed Stanley to lick her right ear, top of the head and upper neck; when Muffin had enough, she would gently pawed Stanley but Maggie sees the pawing as a sign of aggression toward her younger brother and would then jump up and down and bark at Muffin. I laugh inside every time that happens. During feeding time for Muffin, while holding her, she would look at me (the sitter) as if saying, not liver & kidney again, look at the bowl to eat grudgingly and then look down at Maggie as if she taunting, I’m eating and you ain’t. That would go on every meals while feeding Muffin. If that is not HILARIOUS, I don’t know what is. :0) As for the home & pet sitting location, it is in beautiful scenic Portola Valley (reminds me of Pebble Beach area) with lots of trails but highly recommend y’all wearing a good hiking shoes/boots and not skateboarding Vans during the rainy season, or be ready to slip and slide and then 9.8m/s2 GRAVITY working on you. ;0) Sylvia & Andrew has a beautiful home, populated with lots of family memories from several generations to give that EXTRA Home Sweet Home feelings and that was quite evident during my first visit (meet & greet) months before the sit. Also the wonderful dinner prepared by chef Andrew and the good engaging conversations with Sylvia, Andy and their brainiac daughter Christina on the first day. Beautiful home with friendly and exceptional hosts. If you are looking for a beautiful, serene, scenic and darling pets to care for and to be entertained by the furry babies at the same time, apply for the sit already!!

Paw Pals provided excellent care for Nala while I was away! Given that she's a working line German Shepherd, I was worried about meeting her mental and physical activity needs during boarding. However, Paw Pals kept her active, engaged, and stimulated with walks, puzzles, and playtime. Brittanie was incredibly responsive and reassuring when I checked in, even sending extra photos for my peace of mind. I can not thank the Paw Pals team enough. We got our puppy in the middle of winter, so it was challenging to find ways to help him socialize with other dogs and people. I am so happy we found Paw Pals! Jet was nervous the first time he walked in, but after that, he always walked in with a smile and a wagging tail! They are very accommodating when we send him (3-4 times a month). We don’t send him often, but the few times he has attended daycare shows that it helped him feel comfortable around new dogs and people. We feel at ease knowing he is with kind professionals, exercising and socializing, and the pictures they send us make our day. I can tell the owner is diligent with whom she hires and is a kind and caring professional. Their website is straightforward and easy to navigate. Paw Pals is the best - our dogs love to go there. The last time we boarded them, Paw Pals literally saved our summer vacation - one of our dogs needed a visit to the vet while we were away (non serious but needed to go) and the owner took her for us so we didn’t have to disappoint our kids and cut our trip short. They always take great care of our babies and go above and beyond.
To say Paw Pals is an amazing day care/boarding facility would be an understatement. I have trusted Brittanie and her team with my fur baby since 2021. The Paw Pals team have loved on and cared for my baby as if he is truly apart of their family. Our dog is a "challenging" dog....highly anxious and sometimes downright nasty! We were concerned when we had to board her due to an illness in our family, but Paw Pals did an outstanding job of taking care of her. The facility is new and clean. The staff are friendly, helpful, and all lovers of the dogs. We will use Paw Pals again when we have the need, and we are very grateful for the service they supplied, especially the daily "report card" emails.

I have been using Best Friends for many years. I used them with my sweet dog Lucy and now with my new dog Hazel. At Best Friends they are friendly, patient and accommodating. I know when I bring Hazel there for an extended period of time she is in good hands. I can see her play on the dog camera, and I watch her socialize with the other dogs. When I pick her up, I know she had fun, and she is extremely exhausted from all the excitement and activities. One day, I plan on taking her to the doggy day care so she can have fun when I am at work. Oh, and one last thing they also have grooming so when I pick her up, she is soft and clean.
We have been taking our dog Daisy to Best Friends in Chestnut Ridge for about 3 yrs for both day care and boarding since she was a puppy. John and all of the staff there are so caring and show her so much love. I know that she is very well cared for when she is there because she gets very excited when we drop her off and comes home very happy and content. The grooming services are great too. Daisy always comes home smelling fresh and clean. The staff is also very accommodating and helpful. I'm thankful we have a place that we trust to care for Daisy!
I have been taking my dog Leo to Best Friends Pet Hotel for the past year. All experiences have been great. The staff truly loves dogs, easily evidenced by Leo being so excited every time we walk inside. Victoria and John are always there to greet us and are both very helpful. Within the past year, I have also used their grooming services, and Jackie always does a great job.

Both are affordable rates & I always make sure to tip for the bathing AND the staff .. you can do both separately which I think is great!
When I picked up Luna from her 2 night stay she was clean and didn't seem to want to leave lol. I am happy I found this place because I feel like I can actually trust that she'll be okay while we're away.
Best Friends is the only boarding facility I found in the area that has real fenced-in grassy areas and takes the dogs out each morning and afternoon for potty breaks. The other boarding facilities advertise "all day play" to hide the fact that the dogs there never seen sunlight or fresh grass. I trust Best Friends with my pup and will continue to use Best Friends in the future!

My dog Blaze goes absolutely insane with excitement when I mention going to Peaceful Pup to see Lauren! He normally has separation anxiety when it comes to leaving me, however, when we arrive at Peaceful Pups, he leaps out of the car and runs right to the door. I cannot sing the praises of Peaceful Pups Dog Care loudly enough. My dog had a rough passage prior to coming to my home. He endured losing a leg in Hurrican Marie in Puerto Rico. Peaceful Pups has worked with me to overcome his reactive quirks so he can have a much better life. I never worry for a second when he is in Lauren's care. She is a dog whisperer extraordinare. My dog howls when he knows she is coming. Praise from a pup who has had a tough time. THAT says it all!!
I’m so relieved to have found them! They helped us out in a pinch early on in my puppy’s life and now they are our go to. We had to use another place one weekend that our dog hated so much that he wouldn’t get in the car for the next trip. Once we arrived at Dan’s place (instead of the other) my puppy was visibly relieved and charged for the entrance. He LOVES it here. Cameras are a nice touch. Staff is excellent. 10/10

Pampered Paws is the best! I can’t say enough nice things about Dan and his crew. They are amazing. They offer grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare. Each service is exceptional! We are thrilled to have a place that is so clean and everyone is nice and caring. Our dog Franny absolutely loves going there. No goodbyes or sad faces when we drop her off, she’s like “see-ya later” and leaves us while she is running inside. This makes my heart happy. Most importantly, I know Franny is safe, happy and gets lots of love there. She comes home from daycare and boarding relaxed and content. I know that when Franny is at Pampered Paws she is getting the best care and love. Period. Thank you Dan, Shannon, Marcos and other team members! Franny loves you guys!
I sent my puppy there for the first time this weekend. they were so nice such good people, my dog loved it, I was a little worried since my dog didn't get along with other dogs so well. but wonders ever since I picked him up he's a new puppy so friendly and fun I take him to the parks and he loves playing with other dogs now. he is such a different and better dog. I definitely recommend this place as #1 they're so good with the dogs and the dogs loves it,
The best compliment is that Murphy loves it As soon as I turn the corner he wants to jump out the car. This is Murphy’s weekend spot. The staff is amazing they are so nice and professional and Dan is absolutely amazing best groomer in Rockland he caught an ear infection early on and saved me a costly vet bill Dan is caring, compassionate and runs a great day. Care/kennel/grooming. Again if Murphy is happy that speaks volumes!!!!!!😍
Pampered Paws is an outstanding place! I have a dog that gets nervous about grooming but Dan and his staff make my dog feel comfortable. He always comes back happy and looking perfect! Thankfully, Dan noticed an issue with my dog's back leg recently which led us right to the vet. A diagnosis of Anaplasma (a tick born disease) was treated with antibiotics. Dan noticed it before anyone in my family did. Dan pays tremendous attention to all of the dogs and was instrumental in keeping my dog healthy. Thank you Dan!!! There is no one better!!!
Thank you Pampered Paws My difficult dog Lionel, finally found a place where he is happy. Dan and his staff took the time and had endless patience to deal with his seperation issues and fear of other dogs. They went above and beyond to ensure he was settled in, calm and safe. They never gave up on him. Lionel and I are incredibly grateful for their obvious love and dedication to the dogs under their care.
Best place ever!! I'm usually skeptical about where I leave my dog but she had the best time and they took really good care of her so I can go to the yankee game. My favorite hotel allows dogs and now I know she don't have to be lonely. I will definitely come back and I recommend this lovely place to everyone. Just leave me a space.
The staff is SO amazing, the place is very clean.Our puppy had the most incredible time!! Super trustworthy and Just the best!! Highly recommend! I had a 3 month old puppy and had to go away. I was very nervous. Dan the owner completely put me at ease. He was so accommodating. He always texted me right back. There were web cameras in facility so I could monitor my baby. I was sent little videos to ensure his well-being. I even got to face time him. The facility was also convenient and easy to find. There are woods and a trail behind the center for walks. Also, because I had to leave him a few days I received a free wash and nail clipping. Cannot recommend enough! I will definitely use again!!!
Absolute best place! They have caring people taking care of your loving pet! My dog loves being there and loves hanging out with the staff all day. Only a few months after a total hip replacement I trusted them with my dog and they took great care of him. I will always use them!
I was trying out to see if this place would be a good fit for my pup cause i know my pup is usually very anxious. Unfortunately things didn’t work out as i hoped but that’s okay! Because i appreciated how much this place communicated with me and heard my concerns about my pup. They did their very best to make my pup comfortable and that’s all i can ask for. The staff is super sweet and very understanding. I’m hoping that with more training my pup will be able to gain the confidence he needs to be able to come back here cause that’s how great they treated us. They are aware of how to make sure the place is safe for furry friends and that’s what is important! Thank you guys for doing your very best and being patient with my pup. I’m hoping i can return when he is more ready!
We’ve taken our two dogs here twice now. Once for their evaluation and once for doggy daycare. The staff is really friendly and explained things well. The moment we pulled up to the parking lot for their day of daycare, the dogs wanted to run inside. They were greeted by friendly humans and went running to go play that they didn’t even say bye. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but weren’t running out of the door. They went back to say bye to the staff there. They came home exhausted but very happy. I got a video seeing how they were doing which gave me some piece of mind and they do little activities for holidays which I LOVE. My dogs are my fur babies and it feels like they understand that.

Love love love this place - the staff takes great care of my rambunctious 2 boys. They are always so friendly, nice and polite. The themed parties are too cute, I can't wait to see photos they post ( this was them at prom) Really this is the only place I want to tale my dogs to.

Be careful leaving your dog in the care of this location. There has been surveillance video footage of the abuse of Charlie (GSD). Check out @ABC7NY tiktok video posting from yesterday 9/20/24. Had the employee whistleblower not show the footage to Charlie’s owner, he would have never knew, other dog owners that leave their dog here would’ve been oblivious, and that manager that abused Charlie in two instances would’ve still been working here. But according to the video they said the manager has been fired. And here is the proof before the Google business account owner/ runner wants to deny these claims. This is footage of the GSD Charlie that is also featured in that TikTok video by ABC7NY News.
I picked up my chocolate lab axle this weekend after a seven day boarding. When I received him he had a raw nose on the top of his bridge. Upon asking the staff what happened. They stated that it was that he was sticking his nose underneath a gate. And that’s what probably caused it. I’ve used your services times before and never had an issue. Till now. I hope that this does not scar my dogs nose. Right now at the moment it is discolored unfortunately. and maybe the facility can assure that this does not happen to other dogs.
They took great care of my Kenna and made sure she had a fun and safe experience. The facilities are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play. The service was top-notch, from the convenient drop-off and pick-up to the flexible scheduling and reasonable pricing.
Super friendly and accommodating staff who genuinely care about our fur babies. I feel comfortable leaving them here when we need to be away. I also love the “camper cams” that give me extra peace of mind and a dose of cuteness.

Love Camp Bow Wow!!! The team are always friendly and professional. My Oscar is excited to join them and sad to leave. I feel he is treated as their own pet. The faculty is also always clean and safe. I have and will continue to recommend to others. Thanks Camp Bow Wow !
I appreciate the initial screening and vaccine documentation requirements to ensure health and safety. The camper cams give me peace of mind. I can check in any time and see how my little guy is doing. I could see for myself that the dogs are under constant supervision. The counselors are good with the dogs, playing with them and cleaning up after them. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating, making drop off and pick up very easy.
My newfie Georgie has been going to camp since she was 6 months old. She really looks forward to seeing her doggy and human friends once or twice a week. Everyone who works there is caring, friendly and knowledgeable. It's a great place to be a dog!
Staff is awesome. Very accommodating and flexible. They couldn’t be more caring and loving. They always let me know how much she ate and her overall behavior. My pup pulls me towards the door as soon as we get out of the car. Camp Bow Wow is my go to for boarding and daycare.
Been coming here for years, the staff are absolutely lovely, they care so much about all of the dogs, and know them all by name. My dogs love this place, it is their doggy heaven! Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place. My dog, Yako, really enjoyed himself for his "interview"/first visit and stay at a doggie day camp facility. He especially like Matt, who was totally gentle with him and really made him (and all the other dogs) feel comfortable and safe. It is a big, clean doggie day care/boarding facility and they keep the dogs entertained all day long. When I brought Yako home, he drank some water and went to sleep. Perfect. I am very comfortable leaving my dog for boarding and it is easy to get to from Manhattan or the Bronx. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow Rockland County, NY. A++
I had a last minute change in travel plans and Camp Bow wow was amazingly supportive and very welcoming to me and my pup Mango! I felt safe being able to log in and see him at play having the best time with his friends. Staff took excellent care of him and I’m so grateful for you all!! Highly recommend! This was his first time away from home and from me and we were both very nervous but camp bow wow made this experience so seem less and for that I am blessed. Thank you for loving him up for me while I was away.
We've had a great experience with Fetch! I don't like sending my pup to a kennel, I prefer to send her to a home. Diane with Fetch has kept her for us a few times now and it's always been a very positive experience. Zelda comes home happy, calm and relaxed every time.
We have been using Fetch for over 10 years now and have not had a single bad experience. We have used several sitters and all have been wonderful. Fetch makes boarding your dog a treat for the owners and the pups. Recommend this service very highly.
Had a last minute and unusual pet sitting situation. Owner was extremely responsive, called me to discuss the situation and made arrangements catering to our needs. Very good communication, reliable and made us feel very comfortable. Will continue to use them in the future! Highly recommend.
We have been using Mike as our dog walker. He is the best!! He is great with our 2 dogs. They absolutely love him!! He gives me daily updates on how they did on their walks. We also have a few cats and one had surgery and when Mike came to walk our dogs he would also give a little extra love to him and also let me know how he was doing when he was there. Fetch is awesome!! I would recommend them to anyone.
I have been using Fetch pet care for many years and I could not say enough about how helpful and flexible they have been. On occasion I have called for a scheduled dog walk last minute for later that day and they have always been able to accommodate me. They have terrific staff that stay in my home when I travel and keep in touch with me while I’m gone. I have used Fetch in Boise, Idaho and Burbank, California and was very impressed with the quality of the pet sitters in each city. Then I used Fetch in Ridgewood and was not disappointed! The pet sitters were easy to work with but, most of all, they treated my dog like their own. When I picked up my dog, Buddy, from an overnight with Amy, I knew she passed the test with flying colors because as I held my dog and was saying goodbye, he leaned over and licked Amy right on the nose. Better than the Good Housekeeping seal of approval!!
Fetch really is the best. We've used them for almost 2 years now and I'm so glad that our neighbor recommended them to us. They are always there when we need them, even when it has been last minute. I'm always amazed at how quickly they respond to emails and texts when I need a last minute walk or visit. Our primary sitter is amazing with our dog and on the very rare occasion when she is not available they have a backup team (who our dog got to know in advance) that is equally fantastic. Can't say enough nice things and I honestly don't know what we'd do without them.
Fetch Pet Care made sure my cat was well attended while I was on vacation. This was my first time using a pet care service and Janice answered all my questions and put me at ease. Nicole did a great job and was very reliable. I will definitely be using them again in the future!
Dealing with Janice at Fetch and Debbie our sitter/walker that was assigned to us was one of the more enjoyable encounters we've had with outside contractors. And when it comes to leaving your dog's care in the hands of others, its not always the best experience. Dealing with Fetch was the exception, they were Super Great!

We were going overseas for 2 weeks and our pet sitter backed out. My son was worried about his Bearded Dragon, Xerxes. Jeff was available at short notice for us to come and "ok" the spot that Xerxes would have while we were away. He was very understanding with a nervous 14 year old! When we came back to drop her off, he had even researched more info online about Bearded Dragons - she was his first one! While we were away he texted pics and updates. He had to cut fresh food daily and remember to turn on and off different lights/heaters each morning and evening. Jeff was wonderful and saved the day. Xerxes did great and we were able to enjoy our trip. Thanks Jeff!! We will definitely use Preppy Pet again!
Our Jack Russell rescue is an active, high energy dog, who needed to learn basic commands and also how to play with other dogs. We've been bringing him to Jeff every Saturday for about six months for socialization and basic training. Our little buddy has become much less aggressive with other dogs and now sits without me having to tell him to! We bring him up to Preppy Pet (from the Bronx!) every week because we know he. Is. Loved, trained and has a great time! We’ve also used the boarding services. Jeff’s prices are great and the service can’t be beat! Jeff is flexible and he and the staff truly care about the dogs. If your dog needs a day to run around and play and “just be a dog”, bring him to Jeff. Your pooch will come home, drink from his bowl and call it a night! 🐾🐶🐾
Jeff takes care of my dog on all vacation trips throughout the year . He sends me videos and pictures to put me at ease that my Rosie is happy . Jeff is very personable and attentive to my dogs needs . Reasonable priced and good service !
Preppy Pet (Orangeburg location, formerly located in Nanuet) has made a huge impression on me and my husband. After searching high and low to find a trusting place to board our sweet female German shepherd, handsome male German shepherd, and smiley male Golden Retriever we decided on Preppy Pet. From the first initial phone call, they were very patient when answering our list of questions and concerns. They were very reassuring and made us feel that we are bringing our dogs to a place that will treat them like their own. The drop off was very smooth, as Jeff and his staff took our dogs in one by one to get used to their temporary home for the next several weeks. Jeff (who is the owner) spent as much time as we needed going through the specific feeding directions for our three dogs, as one of our German shepherds needs special medication administered in order for her body to properly digest her food. Shortly after drop off, Jeff and his staff would send us videos and photos of our dogs. I could tell they were having a great time from the start, by their ear to ear smiles and wagging tails. I knew we had chosen the best place for our dogs to be well cared for. You can tell that the staff truly loves animals. The love and compassion could be felt right through the videos. I am so happy we chose Preppy Pet to board our 3 dogs, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for services that they offer. (They also offer services such as grooming, and day care!) Boarding your animals is never easy, but Preppy Pet made it so much better for us. They are very reasonably priced, they are very honest, and they have the best team! Thank you to everyone at Preppy Pet! We will be returning in the future! 5 + stars!!!!
my dogs Daisy and Tippy came here multiple times for boarding day care and baths the staff was great! and very kind they did a great job with the bath and nail clippings and even sent me pictures!
My baby boy loves going to daycare here! Whenever he realizes we are on the way he howls and howls. Once we arrive he drags me to the door. He love being able to play with other pups. Preppy Pet is the only daycare, boarding, and grooming provider that we would choose.
I’ve been boarding my two dogs, Nigel and Lily at Preppy Pet over the last few years. Jeff has always been super reliable and accommodating. Each time I pick the dogs up they are happy, well fed, and tired from playing. When I drop them off to stay at preppy pet they don’t even look back, they are so excited to return to hang out with their friend Jeff & co. We will definitely miss them as we move out of state but are happy to know how loved and cared for Nigel & Lily were during their many stays at Preppy Pet.

We have been dropping our pit bull Cocoa at Preppy Pup for around a year now. People get nervous when they see pit bulls and unfairly judge them based on their reputations (not going to call out any other day cares in the area by name…….). That is not the case with Jeff and the staff at Preppy Pup. The whole team treats Cocoa for who she is, a very loving, happy and playful girl who doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body….though she still has endless amounts of puppy energy! Cocoa is always so excited to go. When we ask her “do you want to go see Jeff today?” she instantly “smiles” and shakes her butt and when we pick her up she is completely exhausted from a day of play!
Our two dachshunds have had many wonderful stays with Preppy Pet! Preppy Pet owner, Jeff, gave great care to our senior dogs, making sure to follow all best practices for keeping them healthy and safe. They really love all pets and all feel welcome. With typical boarding structure, filled with many dogs, cats, and others, you will probably smell the clients, that's a good thing-no toxic disinfectants or perfumes, you can leave your pets with ease of mind, they are safe and in good company!
