We loved our time in The Netherlands. Bamboo is quite a character, in the best possible way. She loves back rubs and chasing ducks. She's a joy to be around at home and she's great fun when exploring the nearby parks and beaches. The home is in a beautiful location. It's close to parks, beaches, and all the shops one could need. The supermarket is a short walk away. There is backyard garden to relax in and maintain. There are beautiful museums within a short bike ride. Amsterdam is about 1hr. away by train. The Hague is a special place. We'll miss it. Audrey, Tompel, and Claudia are wonderful people. They've chosen a great location to live. You'll be thrilled if you get to spend time with Bamboo at their home. We absolutely recommend it.
We had a great time with Buster! He is the sweetest old boy who loves pats, treats and naps. Nevertheless he is full of energy when he wants to go for a walk or play with his squeaky toy. Wandering in the park everyday with him was a delight. The neighbourhood is quiet, clean and very central. The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Caroline and J.A. are easy to communicate with. We would not hesitate to sit for them again if the opportunity arises.
Charlotte and Tim are fabulous hosts. They immediately made us feel very welcome from the first video call to a lovely meal the night of our arrival. They left all the information we would need to look after their home and, most importantly, Bosley. Bosley is the loveliest dog we've had the pleasure of looking after. He was so well behaved, had an easy to follow routine and was always happy for some cuddles and playtime. We housesat with our dog, Belka, and the two dogs became inseparable. It made the housesit a very happy experience and one we'd be very pleased to do again if asked. The home is beautiful and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and getting some work done in front of the fire. Having walks and a garden directly from the door was ideal, but we did bring our car which meant we could enjoy trips our with the dogs to Glastonbury, Stourhead and Montacute. Charlotte and Tim were kind enough to offer us to stay another night when they returned; another example of their generosity and hospitable natures. All in all, a perfect housesit!
I had a wonderful time looking after Jack and Gunner during the Christmas holidays. These dogs are so awesome. They are active and eager to go hiking, or go on walks in the neighborhood. They love giving and receiving attention, and will bond with you quickly. The scenery of the red rocks is amazing. Their house is just a couple a miles away from the entrance of Zion National Park, which is ideal if you like the outdoors and want to explore. I enjoyed staying at their beautiful home. The setting is perfect to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. There are amazing views right where the home is located. Janell left straightforward instructions on what was expected and went over the details for about 45 minutes before they left. I was honored to have had the opportunity to meet and house sit for Janell and Brad! Would gladly help out again anytime. Thanks!
Christian and his wife are wonderful hosts who made us feel at home. They provided us all the necessary information and detailed instructions. Kittens are cute and always ready to communicate and play.🤗 Kaixo is older and more experienced. Pauli is younger and naughtier. They both are cute and gentle. It's really easy to take care of them. Flat is lovely and has everything we need. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. However, there are supermarkets and cafes nearby. Public transport is convenient enough to get easily to the city centre. Thank Christian, his wife and kittens for generous hospitality 🧡✨
I had a wonderful time time pet-sitting Hercules. He was so entertaining, free spirited, loving and easy to care for. He’s easily one of my all-time favorite cats, his personality is so on par with me. Julie’s home was organized, and made cleaning the litter box and feeding Hercules very natural and straightforward. Julie’s stay was well-equipped, and we easily communicate while they were away as well. I got used to their convenient location, and could hop into the city for a couple appointments and dates. Also going to the nearby town made for daily needs made working from home low key. I felt really safe and would love to care for him again.
