Short sit with Louise and Lucy, two delightful, calm, easy to care for pups in Charlotte. Communication with Chandra was excellent, description of the sit was complete and accurate. Home was comfortable and clean. Neighborhood seemed great. Had to adjust dates because of a family emergency for pet parent, but Chandra made sure that I was okay and was not inconvenienced by the change. Would be happy to be return for another sit!
Ashley is just the absolute best! She left clear instructions about her home and how to keep Mo happy. The location on the northside of Madrid, but all transportation is easily accessible. Mo is a just a doll with the most fun and demanding personality. I would be honored to hang with Mo again.
Gillian's hard work is evident from the start of this rural France sit. Both my wife and I had lived on an Iowa (USA) acreage caring for sheep, horses, dogs and cats. That background came in handy dealing with the various pets Gillian has. The border collies (4) and the Spanish greyhounds (2), and the pair of horses (not on her immediate property) left some room in the day for sightseeing or leisure once we got used to their routine. Gillian's written instructions were helpful, including the name of the English-speaking vet she uses. Finding him was an adventure even for Google maps! Gillian admits the place can smell a bit ‘doggie’ and the rainy weather didn’t help with tracking in mud, but the wood-burning fireplace kept us cozy. All in all, we had a great time caring for the most precious greyhounds and border collies you could imagine. They make it well worth it. Gillian is a delight too with lots of communication before and during via WhatsApp.
We had such a wonderful weekend stay looking after Mavy. He is a very sweet natured dog, like lots of cuddles, chasing his ball, enjoyed his walks. The house is gorgeous, beautifully furnished. Weymouth is a lovely town, very vibrant, outstanding beach, all 15 min walk away. Grace & Jack are both welcoming & friendly & they generously left us a large bag full of goodies. Highly recommended 🌟🌟
This was one of my favorite housesits that I have ever done! Istanbul is a beautiful city and so affordable and easy to get around. The Bosphorus is right down the hill and can be seen from the apartment. There is a bus stop that's not even a 5-minute walk down the hill with some great cafes and restaurants. You can walk to the next city over in 15 minutes along the river. SUPER safe area. I even walked to Ortikoy from there (about an hour walk, but only 20-25 mins by bus depending on traffic). It's a beautiful place to jog or ride a bike. Amelia and Matt are AMAZING! They explain everything and are such an interesting couple! I had the honor of meeting them for dinner after the sit. They were available to answer any and all questions quickly and their home is just lovely! They checked in on me and I would send them pictures of Rumela, who is the most incredible cat I have ever met (and I say that having 2 cats of my own!). She is SO much fun and full of energy, but so easy to care for. She likes to try to sneak off to the roof when you open the door to get into the apartment, but it's very easy to coax her back with her toys. She is super smart and cuddly. I hated leaving the apartment even for a little while because it was so hard to leave her sweet, little face! I would be more than happy to go back to Istanbul for no other reason than to watch Rumela again! It was so hard to leave her. Thank you Amelia and Matt for making this one of the best sits I have done and being so gracious!
I felt right at home sitting for Zuko and Namaari! Jacob and Tiffany are so kind and very accommodating. They welcomed me warmly and provided very clear instructions on how to take care of their little ones. They were quick to respond to all my questions and they have a lovely home. This was my first time sitting for a cat and dog combo where both enjoying playing with each other. There was never a dull moment watching them wrestle and run around the house together! 😄 Namaari is a Parkour Champion so watching her zoom around the house was hilarious! She also enjoys looking out the window and tries her best to jump up and catch the birds outside. Zuko was a little shy at first, but we became fast friends. I learned during our walks that he prefers the quiet and doesn’t care to interact with other people or dogs so walking on the trail near their home is perfect. Zuko and I also enjoyed standing in the backyard and listening to the sounds of the neighborhood. So peaceful. I hope they both enjoyed hanging with me and I look forward to sitting for Zuko and Namaari again.
