We had a fantastic week at Paul and Katie’s house. They have a beautiful home out in the countryside close to the pretty town of Much Wenlock. We made full use of the outdoor space during the sunny days. There were a number of walks straight from the house and Paul shared these online - which was really helpful. The sheep and goats needed very little care and the chickens rewarded us with fresh eggs each day. Hopper and Jester are beautiful, energetic and loving dogs - they accepted Teddy, our own dog, into their pack and we all enjoyed our walks., time chilling in the garden or curled up in front of the TV. If given the opportunity we would love to sit for for you again in the futire
Katie and Adrian's place was a wonderful setting and great place to spend two weeks in Spain. The gardens are lovely and sitting by the pool felt like we were at a private resort. The dogs, Looby Loo and Maddie were adorable and easy to care for. The cats, Tom and Jerry were cuddly and sweet. We will miss them. Katie treated us to dinner upon our arrival and gave us a tour. We were able to contact them daily with any questions and Katie or Adrian always responded very quickly. I highly recommend this as a great housesitting opportunity.
Ed and I absolutely loved Izzy and Jessy! Chris’ instructions were perfect and we knew exactly what was expected of us and what to expect. It’s only been a few days, but I miss sweet little Izzy and her funny antics already. The house is amazing. I felt like a princess in a castle! Ed and I had an amazing time and hope we have the opportunity to come back again.
It was so nice to meet Kristen and Lexi! Communication with Kristen was very quick and easy. She has a lovely and tidy home that was very welcoming and a pleasure to stay at. Lexi is a real sweetheart. She loves walks but also enjoys watching tv with you, and she has a calm and patient way about her that makes it easy to be with her from the start. I would absolutely recommend staying at Kristen's home to keep care of sweet Lexi and check Lethbridge and the surrounding areas out. Thank you, Kristen!
I spent 2 weeks at Julie’s and I really enjoyed the company of sweet Tallulah. Julie gave me clear instructions for the kitty care, and the house, and also recommendations of things to do in Dublin, which were very useful! Tallulah is a really charming, lovable, flurry, and easygoing kitty ✨. Once you gain her confidence, she will be closer to you. Julie was excellent in communication. We were in touch every day, and she always answered every question I had. Julie’s house is very cozy, with everything you may need during your stay. It’s in a nice and safe neighborhood. There are a few supermarkets, pharmacies, and places to eat within walking distance and it’s also well-communicated with public transportation. Thanks again for the great stay, Julie! 💐
We had a wonderful, relaxing sit at Julia's home. She invited us a night early & an extra night at the end of the stay. What a lovely, well educated & well traveled woman to converse with! So enjoyed her stories & hearing about how she & her husband had designed their home years ago & he built the cabinets & designed their beautiful fireplace. Her home is on a plateau, with gentle breezes on the back porch for watching sunsets. Reza & Matcha we're were sweet, well behaved dogs, so easy to care for. Julia had all their food instructions written out, so it was easy to follow the routine. Just keep their water bowls filled, as like us, they would get so dry & thirsty. They would only bark if a vehicle was coming up the road toward the house. We fit in some sightseeing, a hike & bike riding in the area. What a lovely area of the country to visit!
