Bessie and her mother have taken very good care of marta and sofia, they have been sending pictures all the time and responding very quickly when we needed to know about our animals. The cleanliness has not been as expected compared to how we delivered the house.
I had a great time catsitting at Sarah's place! Alley Cat & Tayto are both very sweet and adorable cats that are very easy-going. I wasn't expecting much interaction from Alley because he's older so I was pleasantly surprised that he'd come in and 'check on me' every once in a while when I was home. He seemed to get quite comfortable with me after a day or so and even let me give him a little pet or scratch every now and then. Tayto on the other hand is a lot more curious about what you're doing and has a lot of energy. He liked to run around and would even jump on the bed when I was sitting on it to either hang out or get a little scratch. They're both good at letting you know when they're hungry and other than that, they're very self-sufficient and chill. The flat itself is very comfortable and lovely! The kitchen has plenty of space to make some food and the bed is incredibly comfortable; I slept very well. The flat is in a great location; on the main road so you can get to Brixton station and the shops easily but just far back enough that traffic won't bother you. Brixton is a great area to explore! Sarah's communication was 10/10. I felt very prepared before the actual sit as she walked me through the cat's routines and everything else I needed to know. She's very easy to talk to! I'd happily catsit for her again.
I would so recommend Georgie and her lovely family including the happy pup Dougal and wise old cat Mowgli as a place to house and pet sit. I had a wonderful time, the town of Hurstpierpoint is friendly with great little shops and lovely walks very close by and I felt very supported by Gerogie throughout xx
Looking after Majik was an absolute delight. She is a young, friendly and sweet lurcher who loves to walk and to hang out with humans. I had a super time with her. Andrew was around when I arrived and was able to show me a favourite walk of Majik's and to point out a shorter alternative for when time was a bit tight. In the end, she travelled with me to different places and had all sorts of walks. I'd like to think that she had a good time too. Majik is a well trained young dog who is very used to spending time in her 'cage'. Andrew kindly moved the cage from the usual place in the house sitter's room to his own bedroom as I didn't want to sleep in the same room with the dog. This was very thoughtful. The house was comfortable and the village lovely. The walks from the house are super nice and there is lots to be explored if you like to walk and walk. As Magic is used to spending a few hours at a time on her own, there is ample opportunity to visit some really nice Cotswolds sites. I can definitely recommend parking at Charlbury station and getting the hourly train into Oxford. It's pretty quick and if you buy your ticket from the station, very inexpensive (much cheaper than using Trainline.) It's been a while since I looked after a lurcher (my dad used to have two) and I was delighted to find that Majik was much better behaved! Get ready for her to want to play with her lead when out. If you want to get her to run, either keep throwing stones for her to chase after, or if there are two of you - one go ahead and in turn, pretend to run. She will chase one and then the other of you and not jump up. This is a joy. I am sure that one day I will be back to hang out with Magic again. She is great.
Alyona was very friendly, and our communication was great prior to the sit, and during it. I have met with her and Baci prior to the sit, and discussed their needs. Baci is a super sweet, and friendly cat, and he loves to sleep on you, and cuddle. He is also very energetic, and loves to have some play time. Alyona's apartment is very modern, clean, and has beautiful views of Barcelona. I would be happy to sit for her again, and spend more time with Baci.
This was a fantastic pet sit! Kate and Jamie were so welcoming and hospitable and kindly picked us up from and dropped us off at the train station. Their home is cozy and comfortable and located in a very s enic area! Monty is a very wonderful soul and he certainly stole our hearts. We highly recommend this pet sit!
We had a wonderful four weeks in Priceville and saw the fall colours emerge! Heather and Dan have a beautiful home which we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved Shadow and Kitty. They were very friendly and affectionate. Looking forward to the next one!
