It was a pleasure to spend 3 weeks in Kingscliff at this beautiful home, with the wonderful pets. I agree with previous sitters that the house is very resort like and the pool is marvelous. You have your own private bedroom/ensuite which I shared with Turbo on his mat on the floor. You would not know he was there, such a quite sleeper compared to some dogs....Turbo is the most loving dog, always up for a cuddle, great company! Loves the beach & ball throwing in the back yard. But then again there is Leo, when you see him snuggle up to the dogs head in total affection you will smile. Zephyr sleeps a lot but comes for cuddles in the evening & is always the first to let you know it is dinner time. All three like to sit out on the back porch and watch the passing parade of dogs & people after lunch. Turbo is a good dog, but extremely strong. So be aware of a cat that lives in Oasis Way on the left on the small pathway way to the beach. I really enjoyed my time in this section of Kingscliff, lovely walks, amazing garden & tree plantings, interesting buildings & very nice people.....Thank you.....
The Gresls are wonderful people with a lovely home. The downstairs bar area is very neat and there are lots of cool collectibles displayed to look at especially if you are into Marvel and Pokemon, I was sure impressed! Gambit is such a sweet kitty. He loves people and warms up to them right away. He enjoys pets and is quite spunky for his age, we enjoyed petting and playing with him. Poor kitty does have some anxiety and wants to be around people the entire time, even at night. He gets nervous and will sing the song of his people when he thinks no one is around, so I recommend letting him sleep with you or give him access to you at night, making sure there is no plastic for him to get into. A few times a night we had to get up to remind him that we were still there, then he seemed to calm down. I think he just missed his mom and dad! Caring for him was very easy and the Gresls were very communicative and quickly answered any questions we had, and we appreciated how thoughtful they were. They even left a little Happy Birthday message for my daughter. Thanks for allowing us to love on Gambit!
It was a pleasure pet sitting for my new buddy Zack! He is a wonderful dog with a fun personality! He loved walking, running and playing on the beach every day. When you take photos of him he will pose. So great! Wesla and Doug were so welcoming, kind and more than generous. They showed me around a day before the sit, made me feel comfortable, prepared me breakfast on the last day and drove me to the airport. They were wonderful hosts! Their home and guest room were super comfortable and had everything I needed and more. Zach likes the guest room too and will jump up to share the bed with you😀 It was a fantastic time and am super thrilled I was able to hang with Zach and get to know and spend time with Wesla and Doug! I loved it! Thank you Wesla and Doug! It was a pleasure.
We loved sitting for Mel and Honey! They were so easy to take care of and it were very sweet. Ola's home was lovely - expansive, clean, and with a beautiful deck. The apartment is in an amazing location with great walkability. Ola was very easy to communicate with and readily available if we had any questions. We are missing the kitties already!
It was a lovely week with two happy dogs and two cats. A good location for the Lake District and the coast as well. Nice neighbours and good restaurants within a 20 min drive. Really good communication with Deborah and Chris. Even recommended a hairdresser who was fantastic!
Jerry and Elaine are truly the sweetest cats! They were so affectionate and easy to look after. Both are big chillers and like sleeping with you in the bed 💕 Isobel’s instructions were clear and the house is so beautiful (it has the most stunning natural light). I equally loved working from their home and exploring the area around it… would definitely recommend!
