Just returned from spending a few days hanging out with Busby & Daisy. They're easy going, friendly and affectionate. Except for the last night, the Dallas weather was hot. Except for an early morning walk or visit to the nearby dog park, they both preferred to lounge indoors and enjoy the AC with only brief visits to the yard (a dog door made this easy for us). We enjoyed Autumn's location, central to the activities we had planned and an easy 5-15 min drive to many good restaurants and shopping. Autumn was very accommodating, offering all the basics we could need and excellent communications.
It was a pleasure to watch Cookie and Sadie! They are super sweet dogs. Marie has a very clean wonderful house in a safe neighborhood and gave easy to understand instructions on taking care of pets and house. Would happily do a sit for Marie in the future.
We highly recommend sitting for Amanda and Charlie. Monty is a lovely old boy, who thinks he’s actually a puppy, especially when you take him for a walk. He loves a stick or a ball. He’s extremely good off lead and the occasional times we put him on the lead, when on the road, he was very well behaved and happily walked next to us. He sleeps downstairs in his dog beds and happily lays in them during the day or wherever you happen to be he will be close by. He’s a very gentle, happy dog. The house is a lovely large family home and we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Lovely large sunny room with a very comfortable bed and on suite bathroom. Amanda is great at communicating and left us clear and helpful instructions. We got to spend an evening with them before they left and we felt at ease, very friendly family. Her lovely dad is close by on the property, but we only saw him occasionally and he is great to chat with, we really enjoyed his company. The property is rural in a small village, so very quiet and lots of walking tracks from your doorstep. We would love to come back to sit again.
We enjoyed meeting Katie and watching over her three adorable dogs. Her dogs brought fun to every room they were in. They were extremely well behaved and just loved on our kids. I highly recommend house sitting for her.
