Adonica and her husband Luis were excellent pet sitters. They were reliable, arrived here early, and learned the animals routine. I told them they didn’t have to feed them as late in the morning as I do as I’m a late sleeper. They told me they absolutely would keep the animals on schedule. Normally, Ava is the one who bonds with the sitter. But Scotty allowed Adonica to pick her up, and to pet her, which is unheard of. Normally a stick is required to pick up Scotty. I also had an extra visitor here, Einstein, my friends, African gray, who I am pet sitting. They took this in stride, and Einstein bonded with Adonica as well. Einstein still won’t let me pick her up after several years of pet sitting! They adored my boy, Fergus, as everyone does. I received regular updates, the house was clean when I got home, and I came home to a happy household and definitely recommend Adonica and Luis.
It was an absolute pleasure to have Rana (and Vera) sit Custard for over two weeks. Rana was the ideal sitter - very organised, communicated clearly and effectively, and looked after our 18 month old Cavapoochon brilliantly - lots of good walks to go with all the love and care that she and Vera (her 4 year old fur baby) took. I’d have no hesitation in inviting Rana again to a future sit and would highly recommend her.
Lisa took such good care of our cat and home. From the first meeting and throughout her stay, we felt comfortable about her. She sent us frequent updates and pictures to show us that she had bonded with our cat and that everything was going well. She is very responsible and trustworthy. I highly recommend her and would have her stay again in a heartbeat!
This was a perfect sit! Kate is so lovely and welcoming, and has a beautiful apartment in a quiet neighborhood in Chicago, walking distance from Wicker Park & Logan Square. The location is amazing and the apartment was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and super clean. I didn’t get to meet Kate in person but getting in couldn’t have been easier and she provided clear and detailed instructions on anything and was always available! Of course, the best part of the sit was sweet Lola!! She warmed up to me immediately and would greet me with her cute little meows whenever I got back to the apartment or when she woke up from a nap. She’s so affectionate and cuddly, loves to play with her little mouse and string toys, and prefers to be softly spoken to and pet while she eats. She is a truly angelic cat and I hope to sit her again one day :) thank you again Kate!!
What a lovely home and location! Camano Island pleasantly surprised me. Jasper was super sweet, very easy to care for, and became my buddy for the 25 days I was there. Anne was very accessible and helpful, thank you for welcoming me into your home!
