It was a delight to sit for Barbara looking after her dog Dea. This lovely animal is very easy to take care off. With her 13 years she is still going strong and she has a very sweet nature. The house is in a beautiful location on a hill at the edge of the village with great views into the Eifel. It is a lovely lightfilled house and a pleasure to be in. 15 minutes away is Bad Münstereifel with great shops in the historic town centre and a Dr. Kneipp Kurort for health and wellness. Barbara very kindly let me use her car during this week, a pleasure in this hilly landscape. I had a great time here and would surely recommend this sit! Thank you Barbara.
This sit was amazing! I’m so happy I was able to spend time with Mooncake and Zucchini. They are really great cats. They are very friendly, curious, outgoing, and sweet. Within the first 30 minutes they were snuggling me and purring! They like to explore, so I would supervise them in the hallway/open the door for them to go on the balcony. They are great listeners, and will come to you as soon as you say, “Snackies!!” Marjan and Lucas were wonderful! We were able to have an hour overlap to do a walk through before they left. They showed me where all of the important kitty stuff was/everything I needed in the house! They were great with communication and answered all of my questions. They even gave a climbing gym recommendation and offered to let me borrow their chalk/card for the gym! The house is super cute and cozy. It’s away from the touristy areas and is located in a quiet neighborhood! Everything you would want to see/do is within walking/biking distance. Thank you again for letting me watch them! I highly recommend this sit for future sitters.
We are so glad that beyond sitting Scout and Jesse, we also got to enjoy spending some time with Gerry and Jill, who are so friendly and kind. Jesse and Scout are the sweetest dogs, very calm, cuddly, and easy going. We are definitely new fans of rescue Greyhounds. We hope to see them again soon!
Great clear communication. A word doc was provided to refer to and the information was clear and very accurate. The house was very comfortable and welcoming. I appreciated the small touches such as little lights left on in the rooms to make it even more inviting when I arrived. The owner was also very easy to contact via WhatsApp if I need to ask anything. John Barnes is a really lovely cat that clearly likes company and a routine. He was such a good cat and I loved hanging out with him.
Thank you Yerome and Rainer for a wonderful time in your open, light and comfortable home. It was magical to sit on your terrace in the sun with your kitties, all four of us watching the many birds in your wild garden and the pond. Of course we fell in love with Ruhchen and Suri. Suri was our disc Jockey, turning the CD player on while casually walking across the window sill. We enjoyed Karlsruhe and it's famous museums and exploring the surrounding towns and villages, thanks for all your good tips. It was fun to have some time with you, a fabulous dinner and watching a soccer game with the impassioned and funny commentary by Ferdinand and Nepomuk, I was perfectly entertained.
