Recently had the delightful Audrey complete a 2.5 week housesit in our home to keep our two cats company. Audrey kept us updated throughout her visit with regular e-mails. Our furry friends where happy and relaxed on our return and our home was immaculate. Our neighbours thought her wonderful. The added surprise of supper left in the fridge was a real bonus after our long journey home. Belinda and Dave are the perfect pet and house sitters, they are everything and more. We cannot praise them enough as they tick every box. Tayla has been walking our dog for a few months now and she's honestly the best dog walking service I've ever had. The dog is always excited to go on walks with them. I moved to Sydney in March 2018, I was really worried that bringing my Australian cattle dog to the big city was going to be a big disadvantage for her life. I quickly found Tayla through a mail drop in my local area. Once Tayla started walking / looking after Coconut (daycare) all my worries went out the window. Tayla is one of the most epic women I have ever met. She is caring and kind and looks after all the dogs like there her own. I felt like Coconut was as loved with Tayla as much as with me. Coconut always came home tired as though she had been for a gigantic walk (which is what she needs). Tayla is so understanding and adaptable to all of the dogs that she looks after. I cannot recommend her enough!
Our puppy Lonnie was so beautifully taken care of by Tayla during his three night sleep-over. Lons is a real homebody and takes time to get to know new peeps in his life - when we met Tayla we knew we instantly knew he'd be a-ok! We loved seeing the photos of his doggy adventures and Tayla kept us up to date on how he was doing. Tayla, thanks for all your care and love for Lonnie. He gives you four paws up!
Tayla is an amazing dog walker! We have an anxious dog, and he loved going out on adventures with Tayla! He even became less reactive towards other dogs and more friendly when he meets dogs! He especially loved going on swimming trips to the beach, and would come home very happy! We highly recommend Tayla! She is very trustworthy and caring, and we appreciate all that she did to help us with our dog!

I have been bringing my dog to kip doggy day care since he was just a puppy and the staff have always been absolute stars. The team care so much about the dogs and truely give them the best experience. It is always such a joy to get a happy update video during the day and to pick up a relaxed dog at the end of the day!
If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. The team at Kip Brunswick are absolute legends/gems/superstars. You can see & feel how much these individuals love dogs and love their job. My 2 mini schnauzers, Poppy & Merlin, can sometimes be stand offish with other humans, especially after lock down, however at drop off they are excited to see who is there to collect them for their day ahead. They just get everything right: from the viewing window behind reception, the daily video updates you get and the care and compassion shown by every single team member. I will never look at another daycare option. Thank you to awesome team at Kip Happy Stays Brunswick and for the care you give to my beautiful kids 🐾🐾
It actually would of been rude of me, not to write a review!! My mini dachshund goes here, and unlike other schools they do not have the dangerous equipment i was anxious about. The daycare was super friendly, nice, reassuring and patient with my baby... I received a report card on his first day, and in great detail which means they really do not over look anything. You have you own account, and not only receive updates but little personal videos, along with the ones posted on Instagram. Kip is everywhere, and your account is connected, so it is super convenient and i would totally recommend for anyone looking! Thank you!!! x
My border collie cross Olivewas a recent adoption from RSPCA when she had her first stay at Kip Ipswich. She returned to me happy and settled then on her second stay at Kip she greeted staff so enthusiastically that I know I can always count on her being happy there. My dog Archie has been visiting both Ka- Pooch venues for almost 6 years now and he still can't get in the door quickly enough! He just adores all the crew and is always so happy and content after every visit! My two Cavaliers have been attending Ka-Pooch for a 2 year period. Our experience with Ka-Pooch has always been positive. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I drop off my dogs knowing they will have a day of fun-filled activities planned. They share their day with many friends (both canine and human). Most importantly, I know they will be extremely well looked after. I visited several dog day care centres. Ka-Pooch always is pristine. My dogs would not be attending day care elsewhere. We drive 90 minutes to get to Ka-Pooch. I have been extremely happy.

Our Border Collie was a little shy at first but she absolutely can’t wait to run into daycare now! The team here are so lovely, attentive and caring with our dog and genuinely care about their experience. We continue to send our dog here every couple of weeks and it’s been great for her social skills and development! She comes home exhausted so it’s also been a life saver on the days we have to work later than expected. Can’t recommend Kip enough!
Great communication and great service. We booked grooming appointment for my two sheebs. Adrian took the time to walk them and get familiar with them so as to make bathing easier. Shout out to Adrian and Martin for taking such good care of our pups! Would recommend and will come back!

As co-parents, we never thought we would have to leave both our babies for three weeks, and there is no one who came to mind but MDN. Adrian has been more than a foster parent to Gogo and Momo. We left our baby Cookie with MDN Pet Care for 43 days! This was the second time we were using MDN team’s services and we’re just as happy with the results as we were the first time. Throughout the course Adrian gave us regular updates and was prompt with his replies. He took amazing care of Cookie. I hired Martin and Adrian from MDN Pet Care to look after my pets from my house while I travelled overseas. They did an amazing job following our given instructions and send lots of updates. We came home and I can tell my pets had really built a bond with them. And my house was also safe and sound. MDN pet care is a great service for looking after your dogs. I’ve been away 2 weeks for holiday and my pet has been looked after so well by Adrian, he’s so nice & sweet! he updated me photos about my dog every day and my pet seemed to be happy being with him. Sharon and Jessica care for my two golden retrievers on a regular basis. The dogs now run in happily when they are dropped off. Sharon sends regular updates and photos. She is reliable and the dogs are well fed and exercised and given lots of affection. Sharon genuinely cares for all the pets that come into her care.
Sharon takes the best care of my 2 golden retriever girls. One has more anxiety in general but she loves going to GoldenPawz and runs in the door happily when we take her. We are so comfortable knowing they are in such good hands.

I was recommended Golden Pawz by my cousin who said it was like dropping your dog over to a friend's house. Sharon and Jessica clearly love dogs and it was it was great to know our border collie Koby was having a nice time while we were away. The photo updates and messages from Sharon made us feel really comfortable that Koby was happy and being well looked after. We will definately be using Sharon again to look after our boy. My dog Paris was well looked after by Sharon and Jessica for over a month recently. Paris had a great time and enjoyed her start. Both Sharon and Jessica showed great love for Paris. Sharon and Jessica take care of Dino often - and practically his second home. The service is flexible in case of unplanned changes, they are very communicative and provide plenty of updates during Dinos stay. Dino is always excited when I bring him over - I highly recommend Golden Paw!
We hired the whole venue for our end of year Finnish Lapphund meet and suffice to say, it was perfect 🥰. I did a lot of research and contacted a few venues but Barks and Rec suited our needs perfectly 🥳. It was great as there were multiple gated pens (perfect to separate dogs or if they need a break), toys and equipment, fans, outdoor area with sand and water play, and a separate area for humans to hang out and eat food away from the dogs. The perfect combo! Sarah was amazing to deal with (thank you Sarah!) and the venue is so visually appealing and spacious, we all had an amazing time!! Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. Thanks Sarah and Barks and Rec, for making our end of year party a great one!
Our girl Stevie has been at Barks and Rec for about a year now. The first few times she was definitely nervous, which made us a bit anxious. But thanks to the continuous updates on Instagram throughout the day, we knew she was just fine. Now she’s obsessed with the place and she can’t get through the door quick enough. It is a little sad how obsessed she is with Sarah (as soon as she sees Sarah, we’re dead to her) but that’s just a testament to the care she gets there (Stevie is VERY selective in who she shows love to). Stevie has now become Queen of the splash pad and pool, and comes home exhausted from a day of playing with her many little doggo friends. We are so appreciative of all of the staff for their tremendous level of care for our most precious girl. We always know she’s in good hands. Could not recommend this place more highly! Barks and Recreation is a fantastic place for your canine friend. The staff are wonderful and diligent and really know what your dog likes and who they mingle best with. All the staff take genuine interest in your dog and provide really informative feedback on how your dog interacted with the staff and other dogs, when you pick them up. You also get to see all the dogs playing so well together via their instagram feed. Highly recommend that you give them a go!
Hands down the best dog day care in Melbourne. Low dog to person ratio, lots of updates and content during the day, and best of all my dog doesn’t come home smelly! The staff do a great job of attending to accidents quickly to make sure of that :)
From the first contact to the first day at the day care has been so easy to set up. Everyone that works there are genuinely dog lovers you can see they care so much, with big dogs and small dogs. My dog is quiet and not very playful at the start but he has his moment where I can see he actually has fun. I absolutely love the Insta story updates and the end of the day recap. We’ve just started our puppy here. We were able to book in for a quick site tour to check out the place, find out all the info we needed, get all our questions answered, and was able to get a fantastic offer for the first 4 session for $100. Sarah was really communicative with the first visit, let us know how her behaviour and social/playing skills were, and we got a little report card at the end of the first day. Our girl loves the place, forgets us as soon as we get there for the morning. If you are looking for a local doggy day care, that is very hands on, this is the place. Can’t thank the team at Barks & Rec enough
We were so disappointed when our previous doggy day care sold to a large corporate chain. It took us months but we finally found Barks and Recreation after seeing one of our Greyhound friends attending on their Instagram. Since then, we haven't looked back! Our 4 year old rescue Greyhound can be a little anxious around other dogs, the team at B&R were so kind and really took care of him. He now loves going and there are so many other Greyhounds that it feels like a little Greyhound reunion some days! We love the "Greyhound Social Days", it's a great way for Greyhounds to hang out with their own kind (they're an odd bunch!) Highly recommend B&R if you want to support a local business, where they genuinely care about your dog.

It is the absolute BEST doggy daycare in Melbourne! I’ve been taking Ralph ever since he was a young puppy and it’s been a great way to socialise him with all kinds of dogs. The environment is wonderful with a caring and skilled team. They have a spacious indoor area and the best part is their outdoor area with paddling pool and sandpit. Do your research most doggy daycare’s only provide an indoor area. I trust them 100% with my boy as I know he’s in good hands. And I love seeing all of the videos/photos of his fun adventures.

Jess is an amazing pet sitter! My dog loves visiting especially when he gets to play with other dogs. Sometimes I get the feeling he prefers Jess' place to mine! Always puts my mind at ease leaving him, and we get sent heaps of photos and videos too.

Cat Boarding Melbourne is fantastic, the owner goes above and beyond! The company we engaged to move Tigger and Trixie internationally unfortunately messed us around with getting vaccinations organised. Meredith from Cat Boarding Melbourne was very accomodating and understanding helping us out immensely particularly since we had already left the country. I remember making reservations over the phone and Meredith being genuinely excited to see out cats again, particularly Trixie ( Tuxedo) who was described as "very cheeky". Highly recommend!

Meredith is a warm, lovely, and very caring person who takes excellent care of all the cats in her charge. I’ve been going to Cat Boarding Melbourne for many years and there’s no one else I would prefer to have look after my cat than Meredith. The area is always clean and well looked after and the cats are always happy and even have a large play space! I’ve had to put my cat into long term boarding twice and I’ve always felt comforted by the fact that Poppy is well looked after and loved.
We went on an overseas trip and felt completely comfortable leaving our little girl here. From the very start Meredith was accomodating, provided us with a discount for the two month stay, and also threw in a camera so that we could check in with her whenever we wanted. The kennels are much bigger than those at other cat hotels, meaning that even for the regular size ones your cat has two floors. Meredith is a cat lover through and through and we felt so comfortable leaving our cat with her. At the end, she was dropped at home for a small fee. I would strongly recommend this cat hotel, price to care quality is through the roof.
We placed our 2 cats Rum and Raisin in Meredith's care for a month while we were overseas. Meredith took great care of our cats and gave us a discount on the boarding as well! She frequently moved the cat camera so we could see our cats in different locations and made sure to replace the camera whenever we drained the battery due to excessive watching by us 😂 Meredith is friendly and pleasant, and responded to all our emails quickly. Our cats came back happy and healthy and we definitely recommend Cat Boarding Melbourne to others!
I wish I could give Hoochy Poochy more than 5 stars! Our two year old groodle Butters absolutely loves going to daycare 1-2 days each week (if he could go every day, he would) and I can’t say enough positive things about the Hoochy Poochy team. They are always so lovely to Butters and he is genuinely just as excited to see them, as he is to see his doggo friends at drop off. They regularly send picture updates during the day and always give such a great rundown of Butters’ day at pick up. You can tell that the team really cares about the dogs they are looking after and treat them as if they were their own. Hoochy Poochy is an absolute staple in our weekly routine now and we’d be lost without them. Couldn’t recommend this daycare more!
Miso, our energetic and loving 8 month old beagle, has been attending Doggy Daycare with Hoochy Poochy 1-2 times a week for the last few months and it is always always the highlight of her week!!! The entire staff from Josh to Lisa and more are so incredibly caring, loving and kind to Miso and all of the doggos and Miso is excited every time to play, interact and just be with her pals. For our little beagle who loves to socialize, Hoochy Poochy is a dream come true where she is able to play, learn, spend meaningful time growing and developing and she always comes home happy and fully exhausted…a good thing for an energetic one! Thank you so much to Hoochy Poochy for always taking care of our little Miso. She loves you all!!
Bowie started at Hoochy Poochy when he was about 6 months old. He was a super shy, timid little puppy that always gravitates to people over other doggos. He slowly, but surely came out of his shell with the guidance and care of all the staff at Hoochy Poochy. He’ll be 3 in Dec and is a very playful, loving and curious now. Both humans and pups alike!
I love Hoochy Poochy! Here is my experience… I was so nervous to take my puppy Peaches to a play school because I didn’t want her to have a bad first experience with other dogs, but knew it was important for her development. Hoochy Poochy were so kind and understanding, they answered all my (nervous dog parent) questions and encouraged me to check in whenever I needed. The team even sent me an email update with photos and videos which was really nice and helped reassure me she was having a great time! I take Peaches all the time now and she gets so excited when she sees the front door. The staff take such good care of her and she leaves happy and exhausted – the ideal situation. Thanks guys!
Basil and the entire Hoochy Poochy team are unquestionably dog lovers! The staff are tremendously friendly and welcoming, and take great care to ensure the dogs play safely and have fun. Harry loves going to Hoochy Poochy - he doesn’t look back at us when we drop him off, he runs in for a day of play and fun. Cara and the team take great care with the dogs.
