What a lovely sit. Really enjoyed the cats. Sabre had a bit of an upstairs sulk tree days in (missing her favorite human I think.) but a few treats later was on tummy stroking terms stretched out on the bed. Nevis is adorable and likes to snuggle on the bed with you. I'm missing Nevis...he is very chatty.
The house is clean and tidy and Elsie is very welcoming and organised giving clear instructions on the handover. It's a great area for getting outdoors Malham and Settle are excellent. The station cafe is a hidden gem.

Enca! She’s sweet and so easy, took her a while to settle with me but after that we became besties! I love where she hides and she loves hiding hehe.

Loretta is very nice, her home is so perfect, clean, neat and tidy. I love and enjoyed my stay, thank you so much! Her home is very close to the beach and I wish to comeback in summer haha. Hope everything goes well with the roof, thanks again! Happy new year! Be expectant, something amazing is about to happen in 2020 x

I had a lovely stay at Melanie & Roy’s place with the kitties and Tommy! Melanie and Roy are excellent communicators and very genuine and kind people - they have huge hearts, especially when it comes to their fur babies!! They had detailed and clear instructions on how to care for everyone, as well as names of emergency contacts and friends nearby, which was great! Their home is also absolutely lovely!! The kitties are all so sweet and lovable, and Tommy is an easy guy to care for. :)

During this sit, one of the kitties unfortunately needed to go to the emergency vet. If this ever happens on a house sit, you want it to be with Melanie and Roy. Not only were they immediately responsive and on top of things (even while being in South Africa!), but they booked the first flight home. In the meantime, their friends and emergency contacts all stepped up to provide me with the support I needed to make sure the kitty got the medical attention he needed. Because of our group efforts, kitty came home quickly and is now doing much better!! I really feel like I’ve been welcomed wholeheartedly by Melanie, Roy, and their friends. Thank you for everything, Melanie & Roy! 10/10 would house sit again!!!
