Once again Kirsty has been a great house sitter. She sent us regular updates and videos of our chickens. She happily and promptly responded to our requests to put things in or collect them from our greenhouse when friends came to pick things up or drop them off. We came back to a spotless house. We look forward to welcoming Kirsty back as a house sitter again soon.

Caroline

I recommend Caroline and Barry without hesitation. We had a phone call before we met and talked through their experience and our expectations. I had no concerns from that point forward. They messaged shortly before arrival to check all was as planned and to arrange a time. We had dinner together and a long walk with Laz to check all was OK before we left the next day. Barry and Caroline are independent, resourceful and clearly capable people. The house was as clean as we left it, towels in the wash. I couldn't have asked for more. Barry responded quickly to any messages, asked how much contact we would like and sent some lovely reassuring photos and messages of them out with Laz. Laz was in great condition when we returned after a week away, coat shiny and obviously well exercised. The photos of their days out together were evidence of how much he was included in Barry and Caroline's stay and exploration of all that mid Cornwall has to offer. Laz is a great car traveller. You don't know he is there and he is happy to go for days out, especially if there is fuss and food in with it! They are friendly, sociable and easy company. I'm really glad that they applied for our sit. They endorse all that zeewoi hopes to provide and I would be very happy if they could return another time. For those lucky enough to have Barry and Caroline apply to sit, accept! You won't regret it....

Alison

Alison was a wonderful cat sitter to our kitten Dot over the Christmas and New Year period. We felt very happy to leave Dot in Alison’s capable hands. She is communicative, very self sufficient and genuinely cares about animals. She played with Dot a lot and took excellent care of her, and also left the flat extremely clean and tidy. Thank you Alison and Dot misses you!

Jackie

Jackie and Steve were an absolute delight to have look after our dog - Mara - and home while we away abroad. They were very friendly and got on very well with Mara the moment they walked in and kept us updated on how Mara was while we were away with texts and photos. The house was impeccable when we returned. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a housesitter, thank you Jackie and Steve!

Carola

We had the pleasure of meeting up with Carola a few weeks ahead of the sitting so she could meet with Martha. Carola is lovely, a very gentle and quiet person, and connected with Martha straight away. They had a great time together, and Martha was very lucky to have great walks and company. Thank you so much, Carola, we hope to see you again soon.

Claire & Tony

It was lovely to welcome Claire and Tony back again! They're such a super couple, true zeewoi experts and had remembered how everything worked in the house and how to look after Cura from being here 9 months ago! They've looked after Cura and our house again so well. Everything was spotless on our return, including linen washed and Cura had clearly had a great time. Their lovely dog, Amos, came too - he's a very well behaved and very friendly dog and was great company for Cura and Tony sent super photos and videos of them having fun together on walks. Hoping Claire and Tony are returning for another week in a few months time!

Julie and Charles were perfect housesitters, Truffle obviously had a wonderful time with them as she was sad and quiet after they had gone!! They left the house very clean and tidy and had washed, dried and remade the bedding which was great! Thank you both again. Ruth

I contacted Lizzie to enquire wether she would be interested in sitting for us as she was fairly local. We met beforehand and felt that she would be ideal, wasn’t worried that she had no reviews. Good communication via WhatsApp both before and during ‘sit’ period. Although awful weather Stanley had been taken for good walks. On our return it was obvious that they had ‘taken’ to each other with mutual admiration vibes going on! The house was clean, tidy and left in excellent order. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lizzie to others and pleased to be able to provide her first review. I hope she will be able to look after Stanley again in the future.

It was a pleasure having Tessa to sit. We arranged that she would join us for the evening meal before we left for France. She kept us up to date with Fish’s care & how they were interacting. We came home, to a lovely, tidy house & a contented little cat. We would be delighted if she wanted to sit for us again & have no hesitation in recommending her as a sitter.

Another sit by Annie for just one night while we went to a wedding. She is totally reliable, communicative, and takes great care of the dogs. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much Zara for caring for my dogs and horses so wonderfully. Super at keeping me up to date and informed and I returned to an immaculate house (plus a rescued house plant!). My animals were very at ease with Zara, who I hope to welcome back for sits in the future!

We were very fortunate to have Rachel and Laszlo for a second sit to look after our fur-baby Paddy. It was a really tough sit since Paddy had suffered an injury to his pelvis just 2 weeks before the sit and his recovery required 'cage rest' which did not go down well with him. We checked with Rachel and Laszlo whether it was still OK for them to be with Paddy because the sit had really changed due to Paddy's accident. We were so touched and appreciative of their warm loving response of naturally wishing to do the sit and help Paddy recover. They were wonderfully patient with Paddy and attentive to his new needs, giving him so much love and understanding, despite his unhappiness and frustration at his situation. We were deeply reassured knowing that Paddy being so vulnerable, was in such safe, loving care. Not only were they great pet-sitters to our injured cat, but were also wonderful in looking after the house which was spotless when we came back.  Rachel and Laszlo, we can't thank you enough for taking care of Paddy in such challenging circumstances, all 3 of us feel very lucky to have found you!

We had the pleasure of having Lucinda and Leon to look after our furbies while we were on holiday. Having never done this before, we were a bit nervous, but from the minute they arrived at our home, we had a picture of the cats looking relaxed and contented. 
We received regular updates and it was clear to us that the cats were loving them being there. Not only that, but when our neighbours had a distressing situation to deal with, Lucinda and Leon immediately stepped in the help. Our neighbours were extremely grateful for that and asked us to pass on their thanks. 
We arrived home to a clean and tidy home too :-) 
We had a worry free holiday and  highly recommend Lucinda and Leon! We will definitely be going to them first when we next go away.
