I loved meeting and sitting for Carolyn and her husband! They did so much to make sure I would be comfortable in their home watching their 3 adorable cats. They were gracious enough to offer me a ride to and from the train station, they let me borrow their bike, and even purchased a bike lock for me to use so I wouldn't have to bring my own from the US. So much unexpected kindness! As for the cats, I had a great time watching Black, Grey, and Ginger. All three are fully grown, very well behaved, and so sweet. Grey was definitely the most eager to warm up to me and spent every night curled up next to me. Black and Ginger both needed a bit of time to get used to me, but once they both felt okay they would come around on their own timing asking for attention. It was really comforting to have all three of them keep me company each day. Carolyn's house was also so gorgeous! The house was extremely tidy and she set aside a guest bedroom and towels for me to use. Especially loved the modern bathrooms and having tea in the backyard in the mornings! Overall, highly highly recommend anyone to housesit here, truly had such a relaxing time with the cats.
Cathy and Robin are wonderful hosts and I felt very welcomed by them and not least by Zelda who also gave me a very warm wecome! She is a sweetie, exuberant, loving and the world's best dog for a ball game! I think she's the smartest dog I've met.......thanks Zelda for a great week!
Annemieke and Jost were so wonderfully thorough in their communication with us before and during our sit. They were so kind in giving us all that we needed with our two young daughters to make sure our stay was happy and more than comfortable. The home was stunning and in such a beautiful location right next to forests and child friendly cafes. We were even lucky enough to borrow their bicycles to adventure to all the place available. And of course, Billie and Bobbie were such good doggies. Easy and relaxed in our company and enjoyed the attention and games our daughters forced upon them. Haha. Probably our favourite home we have ever sat for up to date! I thoroughly recommend them all for your future sit! Fingers crossed we’re lucky enough to do it again. ☺️
I had an amazing experience petsitting for Michael and Lorenzo! Their two frenchies Bacon & Eggs are just the sweetest, most  adorable, lovable dogs every. They’re just the funniest dogs, each with their own personality. They love to cuddle, play and sleep next to you. Bacon & Eggs are a bit of neighborhood,  celebrities, everyone knew them on our walks. Their home is equipped with every imaginable appliance, a  luxurious garden bathtub and a smart bidet toilet. Communication was top-notch, and their generosity in sharing food made the stay even more enjoyable. Any requests for the dogs were promptly delivered same or next day. Jen is truly one of the best dog walkers out there. Our dog Oscar is obsessed with her - to the point where she tries to walk quietly by our house if she's going to walk our neighbor's dog so he doesn't hear her! On Oscar's first birthday, I was traveling for work and Jen took Oscar to the store to get him a birthday cake toy. It's the smaller, thoughtful things like this that make her irreplaceable in our pup's life. She also takes super cute pictures (attached) and sends an email about how each walk went. She makes leaving Oscar for work trips less hard because I know that he'll be so excited to see her when she comes for his walk!
Jen and the Shawe's team have been walking my family's dogs for 7 years or so. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate shifting schedules, schedule or cancel on short notice, and even pick up the phone to talk about any pet concerns we might have (unrelated to them! just for advice!). I’ve used Jen and her walkers for over 5 years now and I honestly would never use any other dog walking service in Philly. She is trustworthy, reliable, AND LOVES all of her dogs. And my dog absolutely loves her dog walkers, as I’ve been able to see a couple times when my dog will go running toward them, tail wagging if we happen to bump into them on the street. Jen uses an easy-to-use app to schedule walks/pay invoices and to see the daily walk reports which is super convenient. Also Jen makes herself available for every client and will always try her best to accommodate any late requests - I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to put in a last minute request for a same-day dog walk or for an overnight stay the week-of and Jen will always make it work. Aside from that, it’s great to get pictures of my dog on her walk while I’m at work - I truly never have to worry Sophie when I’m not at home because I know she’s in such great hands. Jen and her team has been taking care of our dog since he was brought into our family as a puppy! From consistent walks, amazing walkers and just all around dog people to overnight stays, she has been there for us throughout his life (and will be for the many years yet to come)! Jen is understanding and flexible with last minute changes, which for us happen a lot! Her walkers leave a note about their walk every time and even text/call us from time to time with updates. Jen has been in my dog's life for years (even though we've since moved to the suburbs.) She and her staff are flexible, reliable, and they LOVE their charges/pets. They truly understand my quirky, sweet dachshund and he loves them for it. He even got to sleep over Jen's house!! Jen is super responsive and capable and she chooses excellent staff members. I didn't think I'd be able to find anybody that I trusted as much as much as my close friend who had been walking my dog while he was in between jobs. Not only is Jim very dependable, but he's also willing to deal with my sometimes fluxuating schedule. I highly recommend him.
Asked Jim pretty last minute to see my cat when we went away for for a week. He came over the next day, got oriented, and then checked on her every day for a week. Rates seem fair, he played with her, did litter and food and brushing. Seemed to look for things to do for my cat. Will use again and do recommend.

Our dog Molly loves this place. She goes three days a week and enjoys playing with the larger dog group there. She has A LOT of energy so it's great that she gets it out while we are at work. It appears that the staff actually enjoys working there and cares about dogs wellbeing. It's fun seeing our girl on social media having a blast. Molly also gets groomed there - it's not exactly cheap but that's because they do a phenomenal job. My only small gripe is *sometimes* the building and she smells like pee when I pick her up.
House of Dog is amazing! I bring my two dogs Miley and Presley there to get their energy out during the week. Everyone knows you and your dogs. It’s run like a regular daycare with lots of enrichment, play time, and they sometimes send them home with arts and crafts. It’s so much fun and my dogs love it! Highly recommend!
House of dog is great! We have been sending our 2 year old mixed rescue Shadow for about a year & 1/2 now to daycare & she loves it! She went through training classes there! She was board there for our wedding & they even transported her to the wedding to be in our ceremony! They do cute themed days! Now we will start sending our new puppy Rocky who is a 6 month old mixed rescue! He just went through his temperament test and seems to love it already! The staff is amazing & I can’t recommend them enough!
My puppy Dakota has been coming here for a few weeks and we have been super happy!! She is always excited to get out of the car and go inside and is always so tired when she gets home from playing! I also love how they post pictures/videos on Facebook all day you can really tell they love the doggies like their own! :)
There aren't enough good things I could say about House of Dog! My dog Romeo has been going there since we first got him (7months) and he LOVES going. I love how they post so many pictures and videos to ease the pup parents minds while they are at daycare/boarding. I have a 8 year old pit, Autumn, who can be a little fearful and was nervous she wouldn't be accepted, but they assured me they would make her stay as enjoyable as possible. Whenever I can recommend this facility, I do!
Hank has been going to HOD for almost a year and we absolutely love it! He attends daycare 3 days a week and has the best time. The staff is always friendly and super welcoming. As soon as we walk in the door, we are always greeted and Hank’s tail instantly starts wagging! I love all of the pictures they post on Facebook and I can always tell Hank is having the best time. If you’re looking for a place to board or send your dog to daycare HOD is the place to go! We love it so much!
This is the only place I would ever feel comfortable boarding my dogs. It’s a ver large, nice, clean building. They even have the cutest shuttle. Follow their Facebook for the cutest posts.
House of Dogs Retreat and Spa was the best move for Tootsie. She loves going there and playing with the other dogs and humans. The workers are friendly and pay great attention to the dogs.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive in creating a welcoming atmosphere. They provide a safe and comfortable space for my fur baby. Riley loves going here and she will sleep until 2pm the next day. I can’t recommend House of Dog enough!
HOD is great for doggie day care, and boarding needs. We have been a customer for the last three years and have seen the business evolve. HOD has been effective every step of the way at always keeping up the high quality of their services. They have a great staff and well maintained facility. Their staff are great with communication and they have a client portal which is very user friendly. Highly recommend!
I've been using Love Em & Leave Em Home for a few year. They are the best pet sitters I've ever used. They keep a journal of every visit to my 2 dogs which I read when I return. They take in my mail and ensure a light is on at night. Best of all, my dogs love them. When I get home the dogs don't need any adjustment time like when I used to take them to a boarding facility. We are happy with Tina, Trish and the crew and highly recommend them.

Lisa is incredible. She has helped me so tremendously I can’t even put it into words. My cat Homer is a 16 year old newly diagnosed with diabetes, which makes leaving for holidays and events a bit harder due to his injections. Lisa has helped me more times than I can count, and Homer loves her! It is such a weight off my mind that he is being cared for so well. She sends updates and photos and is always so generous with her time. I can’t imagine what this past year would have been like without her help.
I have used Lisa Burke from Family Style Pet Sitting as my pet sitter for 13 years now. My old dog would actually get excited when he saw us packing for vacation because he knew he was going to go to Lisa’s house for his “vacation.” I never worried about him because I knew he was in the best possible hands. When he was sick and required special care and medicine, she was the only one I trusted. She also takes care of my two cats and my new dog, and she used to take care of my chickens when we had them as well. Highly recommend!!
Lisa was a God send for our family. We had a vacation planned which got changed around a few times due to a family emergency. Lisa was ready at every corner to adjust as she was able. Is there some one watching your pet when she works all day. and is a caterer by night. My puppy Maeve loves her Tuesday daycare trips. She is a little ball of energy and she always comes back happily drained after a day of daycare. They have both indoor and outdoor areas for the dogs and plenty of play equipment and enrichment. I’ve never had an issue with my dog being injured while there. I’ve brought my other dogs who have had some behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and they worked really well with them too.
We have been using Kiwi for years - now with a few different dogs. We currently have two "special needs" dogs - one blind, one deaf - and I can't say enough about the patience and care shown by the staff in caring for these valued members of our family - I never worry about leaving them for boarding, and our one dog has a great time at day care. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating - highly recommend!
5 Stars for bringing our Mira out of her shell! She absolutely loves it here and all we have to say is "school?!?!" and she's at the door ready to leave in the morning!!! The staff is excellent with her and she feels so safe with them, as well!
Been sending my dog here for years, boarding, daycare, the works. He always comes home happy (exhausted) and sprints to get there in the morning. Staff is super friendly, I wouldn't send my dog anywhere else if I had the option. 11/10.

Sky stayed at KIWI Dogz for 10 days. She participated in all-day doggie daycare and was cared for in their boarding facilities. Today, when we picked her up, Sky looked so happy. I don't think she wanted to leave her new doggie friends and their caring staff. I highly recommend KIWI Dogz for your daycare and boarding needs.
I go 30 minutes ouf of my way to take my pups here. The staff is all super kind and engaged. They take great care of my dogs! I’ve been using them off and on for 10 years and only paused while living further away. It’s hard to trust someone with your fur babes and they really do love them here.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Dog seemed happy and was tired at the end of the day.
Janine is without a doubt the best groomer! She is the only person who our special-needs dog lets anywhere near her nails and she is always so loving & kind towards her. We're so grateful we found her and we would NEVER go anywhere else!
They take great care of your dog. We recently went away and our dog got a bit anxious while staying there, likely due to how busy it was during this time of year. Ann the owner was great and her staff kept in touch with us to let us know how he was doing.
Our 7 month old lab puppy was in great hands with Caleb! He sent us a bunch of photos and kept us up to date on how she was doing. She had a blast! We highly recommend Caleb! Side note: Caleb might have a future as a dog photographer. See photo that he took that my wife and I now use as our phone background.
Caleb was recommended to us by our dear friends and we have never considered anyone else sitting our pupper (Shifu) ever since. I needed someone I could really trust to watch my dog Bowie. Caleb took such good care of him and sent me many pictures which put me at ease. I now wouldn’t trust Bowie with anyone else! We just moved to Philly and we are so lucky that we found Caleb! Not only he takes great care of our pup (Fuller), he also recommends us to so many great spots that we could take our pup. I highly recommend 215petcare for all of your dog walking and dog sitting needs! Caleb has been my reliable and wonderful dog walker for years. My 3 very active pitties absolutely love him! Things can be hectic with my work schedule, but I know I can depend on Caleb’s flexibility to make sure my dogs get a nice walk with playtime while I am gone. He has even been able to stop by on shorter notice when I am out longer than I expected to be. It’s reassuring to know you have a dog walker that truly cares for your pet as much as you do, which is completely true of Caleb. Caleb is super reliable and you can tell he loves the dogs he takes care of and they love him. We've used him for 3 years and our dog gets so excited when she sees him coming up the street. Offers walks and day care which is great since our schedule changes on a weekly basis. He is more organized than we are most of the time. Would highly recommend!
Can't say enough about Caleb and 215Petcare. I've have been using Caleb for all my pet walking/sitting needs for a number of years now. From the very first time I met Caleb it was evident how much he loved dogs and how passionate he was about providing nothing but the best care. I trust Caleb with the care of my two pups completely...he treats them like they are his own and even checks in on them during times we haven't seen him in a while. My pups absolutely love spending time with him and his dogs. His place is like a second home to them. Highly recommend Caleb to anyone, he truly has become a part of our family.
Caleb shows genuine affection for the dogs in his care. We recently left our two older dogs with Caleb for 10 days. He regularly sent updates and photos. I highly recommend Caleb and already have requested another 10 day stay in January.
Caleb is so good with my dog! He was very patient as she learned to trust him (she developed a bit of separation anxiety during the pandemic). She clearly adores him now. Caleb is also extremely organized and reliable: always confirms appointments, let’s me know his ETA to pick her up and drop her back, and is easy to communicate with. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
We love Howls and Meows! Colleen takes care of Harper like she’s one of her own. Harper starts to bark as soon as she’s pulling in the driveway and never has any hesitation when we leave. Colleen is responsive, sends us pics/videos and has a great Instagram account where we see can what’s happening with our pup while we’re away. Best thing is that Harper always has a friend at Howls and Meows like Squeegie and Biggie Paws :-)
We were initially looking for a place to bring our puppy for overnight boarding that didn't seem like 'doggie jail', and we have been so happy with Howls and Meows! Our crazy dog is definitely more comfortable in their home-like environment than she would be in a kennel. The pricing makes sense, and the business owner has consistently taken great care of our girl when we are out of town. Their flexibility for boarding, overnight in-home sitting, and ability to care for our cats when needed makes it an easy choice!
I have two cats Laverne and Shirley. Colleen is absolutely fantastic! She is always available and very professional. Whenever she is pet sitting she always texts me videos and pictures. She also lets me know how my girls are doing. My one cat Vern is very shy and hides when anyone comes over. Colleen was able to build a relationship with Vern so that she is comfortable. My girls love her! I highly recommend using Colleen and her company for your pet sitting needs!

Colleen is wonderful with our dog, Bruce! He’s a 2 year old lab mix who is full of energy and needs plenty of play time. He gets so excited the minute we pull up to her house- he loves going there! Best of all, Colleen has been such a help as we recently found out Bruce has epilepsy. She was right there with us sending suggestions and advice from her years of experience with similar dogs. She’s one of the few people we feel comfortable caring for him when we are away. I know she monitors his medicine schedule and makes sure he’s comfortable in a large crate in case he has a seizure at night. She really goes above and beyond for her clients. You can tell she cares for the animals as if they were her own pets!
Colleen and her business has been such an absolute blessing to our family since we brought our puppy home two months ago. As my father in law says, "She's like the Mary Poppins of dog walkers!" Colleen radiates positivity and kindness and I think she adores our puppy just as much as he loves her. Not only is Colleen always dependable she reliable, she has wonderful communication in updates for our puppy, goes above and beyond by setting up puppy playdates, and has even helped out with little things around the house while she's over (bringing up trashcans, cleaning up after the cat--- she's simply amazing). A couple weeks ago we had a family medical emergency. Colleen was so compassionate and incredible. She came back after her normal hours, packed up our puppy and his things, and boarded him at her place for a few days while we dealt with our emergency. Never did she ask for specifics on when I would be picking up our dog, or bog us and down with questions and demands. We just felt understanding and care from her, and it was such a relief knowing our puppy was in the best hands and we didn't need to worry about a thing. She even sent cute little photo updates on our puppy that were a silver lining in a otherwise very bad time for us! We are so beyond happy with Howls & Meows and can't recommend them enough. Give it a shot and see just how quickly Colleen becomes more than just a dog walker, but a part of your family!
We found Colleen through a Google search, gave her a call, and based on her knowledge, experience, and confidence, we decided to try it out. We went and met with her, saw her home and yard, and were reassured this would be much better than leaving our puppy at a kennel. We were right. She's great, a pack leader so our dog is always safe, and just a nice person. Her rates are reasonable and our dog always comes home happy and tired.
Colleen has gone above and beyond taking care of our Frenchie while we were away. She truly treats these dogs as if they were her own. This was our first time leaving our pup and she checked in everyday, communicated about necessary things, and just gave our dog so much love. Can’t recommend her enough!!

It's a huge relief to know that our dog will get some TLC during the day. I love that Colleen sends a note after every visit. Hire her! You'll wonder why you ever dealt with other dog walkers or pet sitters.
Colleen is great. She's really in tune with reading dog body language and genuinely loves dogs. She will set up a meet and greet with your dog and hers to make sure everyone will get along. I ended up really appreciating this part, as it made me feel a lot better about leaving my 10 month old puppy for a week. My puppy was actually excited to be dropped off afterwards, because she was excited to play with her new friend Squeegee. She was really responsive and the rates were reasonable. I would definitely take my dog here again.
Rosie is absolutely wonderful! She is not only reliable but also incredibly loving towards our dog. Every time we leave our pet with her, we have complete peace of mind knowing that she is in great hands. Rosie goes above and beyond to ensure our dog is happy, well-cared for, and safe. We also love all the pictures she shares with us of the activities our dog is doing! We couldn’t ask for better dog care and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring.
Rosie kept our dog overnight. Our dog can be nervous, especially around new people, but she warmed immediately to Rosie during our meet and greet time. In less than ten minutes my dog was sitting next to her getting her ears rubbed! Rosie was also careful to introduce our dog to her other boarders one at a time so that she could be sure that animals had good interaction and our dog was not overwhelmed. We will definitely place our pup in Rosie’s care again when needed!
Rosie has been caring for my 3 fur babies for a couple years now and always pampers my pooches to the point they don’t want to leave! I feel so very comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she always accommodates me the best she can (especially last minute). When I pick up the dogs, they honestly act as though they don’t want to leave. That is a true sign that they are loved and cared for by Rosie. I highly recommend her!
Rosie has been a phenomenal find! Our dog (3 year old goldendoodle) loves to stay with her in her home when we are busy or on vacation. She keeps in touch by sending pictures while we're away and our dog always looks so happy to be with Rosie and the other dogs. We will definitely be using her again - 5 stars!
Rosie is the best! My dog loves her daycare days to the point where it's almost impossible to get her in the car when I come to pick her up, even after a full day of playing. She always comes home happy and tired, and Rosie is so sweet with her. I can't recommend her and Main Line Dog Care enough!
We've boarded our 10 year old Havepoo Daisy with Rosie several times in the last year. Each time has been a very good experience for both Daisy and us. Rosie's love and commitment to the dogs in her care is always evident. She is reliable and very easy to work with. We highly endorse her for anyone looking for to board their dog in the Mainline PA area.
Rosie is incredible with our pup, Hobie. She is super flexible & she always sends photo updates so we can see how happy he is with his other fur friends. We are so lucky to have her! Highly recommend.
I wish I could give her more stars if I could! I was so lucky to have found Rosie back in 2020. I rescued my dog Winston in 2020 and was a little nervous finding care for him because he was quite reactive. Big dog boarding facilities were just too overwhelming for him. The one facility we tried, he would book it out the door as soon as you picked him up, just trying to get out asap! Now at Rosies, he runs right up to the door so excited to go in! She welcomes these dogs into her home like they are her own. She's so great with sending photos and the photos I receive always put a smile on my face knowing he has dog friends to hang out with, couches and beds to snuggle up on, and a big backyard to play in. It's so much more personal and home-like than a big boarding facility. As for the negative review, I would fully expect to pay for anything Winston might have destroyed of hers. This is her home and you're taking your dog there knowing that. At the end of the day, dogs are dogs. Your dog could have never chewed anything up in it's life and then just decides one day to chew something! As a millennial woman with no children, my dog is my child. He is my life. And I trust Rosie with him 100%! <3
We are so lucky we found Rosie! She cares for our 6 year old labradoodle Quincy like we do in our own home. She spoils him with daily walks and visits to the dog park. She makes our time away care free knowing he is with her. She sends pictures and updates and puts us at ease. She's a real dog lover! Quincy is the lucky one!!! Thanks Rosie!
Hi - I recently traveled to Europe for a week and Rosie watched my 2 Chesapeakes and did an amazing job. One of my dogs is epileptic and Rosie was great about giving him all his medications. I will definitely be using Main Line Dog Care again.
It was my first time here and they were good with my two small dogs. Very thorough with explanations and we did a trial day before their actual check in - so that we’d see if the dogs would be a good fit. I was able to put them in the same room and keep them together. They called me with an update and left a message for me. My one dog is part Chihuahua with some behavior issues and they were able to accommodate him just fine. They came back happy and safe. The staff is very friendly and they treat you with a lot of understanding. I was able to bring some things from home to leave with the dogs for comfort items. I was very nervous leaving them but they eased all of my worries. Thanks !
Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Prices were fair, it was simple to schedule the boarding for our cats, and the service/updates of our cats we received were great. I would highly recommend their services to friends or family.
For several years, my cat has been boarding at Philly Pet Hotel when I am out of town, and we’re both super pleased with the experience. They are such kind, caring, compassionate people, and Jelly Bean clearly enjoys the attention from and playtime with the staff. I appreciate the option to get text/photo updates of her stay. I’m grateful that I can rely on the team there to take care of her while I’m away. Highly recommend!

This is now the umpteenth time we’ve lodged our dog, Cosmo, here, but a perfect example of how Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas always goes above and beyond: While I had arranged for a late check out, my flight kept getting delayed. I ended up picking up Cosmo at midnight, and even at that time, there was someone there to hand him over and carefully read me his detailed chart (notes on his stay)! This same visit, they gave me a call to let me know Cosmo had gotten a tiny scratch on his nostril while playing… so tiny that I probably wouldn’t have noticed it day-to-day, but they did! They watch over many dogs but still deliver attentive and individualized care to each dog. The peace of mind I get when traveling knowing Cosmo is safe and cared for is worth it every cent. As seen below, Cosmo himself cannot wait for his next stay.

Absolutely stunned with how amazing this pet hotel is! I needed to board my 65 lb yellow lab named Mango in a short amount of time and Daren and Chris from Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas wasted no time to accommodate our needs! Being given a tour of the facility, I knew I had chosen the right place for my dog when I saw their 'villas' and play areas. Beautiful land, clean facility, excellent price. Mango will be back!
Great, modern, clean pet hotel w very attentive staff. Honestly surprised it's in Philly. We felt really good about leaving our dog here for a week. We got photos each day, email reports, and she had play sessions each day.
They did a great job with my Geely! Their cat facilities are really beautiful. Each cat gets 1 hour of playtime per day outside of the cat condo. The staff was very attentive to his needs and they even contacted me to let me know he was not eating much (which is completely normal when a cat is outside of his/her comfort zone). Geely was perfectly fine and had a wonderful visit, I just really appreciated how much they cared about him! I would 10/10 recommend to a friend. We love Philly Pet Hotel & Villas!
I cannot rave about this place enough. Our sweet little boy was there for 8 days while we vacationed. We got updated photos and told about his progress throughout the whole trip. When we picked him up he looked like he was having the time of his life and the staff was so friendly I can just tell they treated our guy well by how he wanted to say his goodbyes to everyone. Not to mention he came back cleaner then when we sent him! I highly recommend The Philly Pet Hotel to anyone that loves their fur baby as much as I do!
Main Line Dog Sitting is a great environment for our dog while away from home. The owners are very attentive and caring. Our family trusts this service and it makes being away from our family pet a whole lot easier. Five stars all the way!!!
