Teresa & George stopped by the day before the sit began, which gave us ample time to orient them to the condo & go over pet duties. The cats warmed up to them immediately and both were quick to understand the items we covered and asked appropriate questions. We ended the evening with dinner out with them and thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. The next day they arrived for the sit on-time and it was an easy hand over to them. While on our trip we received daily texts with pictures of our “kids” and details of some of their adventures while in the area…Teresa was interviewed by the local TV station and was on the news! We try to find sitters that are observant and watch out for the wellbeing of our pets and our home. Teresa & George fit the bill. While gone they noticed a small amount of water at our front door and notified us about it along with an issue with one of our cats, which prompted me to schedule a vet appointment upon returning home. When we arrived home, the condo was spotless and they left hand written notes and gifts for our return. Teresa & George are not only great sitters, they are thoughtful, caring people. Bottom line, if Teresa & George apply for your housesit, you will feel comfortable on your trip knowing that your pets & home are well cared for. We hope to stay in touch with them and follow their travels around the country. They are welcome to come back anytime!
Cat and Paul were the best!! We are so thankful that they were able to housesit for us. Cat kept us updated with pictures and our two kitties fell in love with her. I think they wish she was still here :) They kept the house clean and organized, and it was so nice to know our chickens, cats, and home were in good hands!
Andrea did an amazing job caring for all 16 of our barn animals and 3 house pets, and our home while we were gone for nine days. I knew everyone would be in good hands knowing she was a regular volunteer at one of our favorite farm animal sanctuaries. Nine pot belly pigs, two llamas, three chickens, and 2 barn cats received the best love and care. She managed everything in our home, including our 2 active little dogs and diva cat, and left it sparkling clean! Her regular communication with us was comforting and helped us not worry about the animals while we were gone. I'd love for her to sit for us again!
What a wonderful sit! I had so much fun caring for Sir Winston in Brenda's sunny Pompano Beach home. Winston is a little shy upon meeting but quickly warms up. Soon he is never far away, be it lounging in the window, napping by your computer, purring in your lap… or snoozing beside you in bed. He was perfect company while I worked remotely during what felt like a week's vacation. Winston (thankfully) is young and strong, as well as affectionate, gentle and playful. Brenda is a kind, warm and welcoming host. I was grateful for our time in person to familiarize myself with Winston's routine and the property. Brenda provided clear instructions and was never more than a text away. We enjoyed daily texts and photos of Winston and our adventures. Brenda's clean and spacious home provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a guest room, closet space(!), bath and plenty of space for remote work. The beautiful back yard was perfect for outdoor meals and relaxing. The supermarket, gym and beach are all within a half mile! If you're seeking a low maintenance kitty in a beautiful, tropical setting, look no further! Thank you Brenda & Winston for sharing your home. I hope to see y'all again :)
As expected Jax took a moment to warm up, but once he did he was a sweet snuggly boy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time caring for him. I would absolutely return.
