To be with Oscar was a delight. He is a an entertaining, easy going kitty who enjoys human company, and also his independence. He would often be out roaming the garden or watching the birds. Before Charlotte and Maisie her delightful daughter left for their holiday, I was put at ease by their friendly, laid back personalities. They made sure I would be comfortable, and that I knew about Oscar’s habits and routine. I feel very fortunate to have been part of such a peaceful homely environment, with beautiful walks close by, either on the South Downs or exploring Rottingdean and then onto the beach.
What a wonderful sit! I was given such a warm welcome by Alison, Graeme, and all their wonderful animals. They have a lovely home set in a beautiful part of the world. I was treated to a spacious bedroom with ensuite and was perfectly comfortable. Rosie and Woody really are the sweetest, most gentle dogs you can imagine. We had a fantastic time going for walks along the beach and lots of snuggles in between times. They are both so calm and just lap up any attention bestowed on them. There were no concerns taking them out and they both have excellent recall. All three cats are surprisingly friendly, even to a complete stranger. Dave is especially a show off and is quite the charmer! Expect to see his belly! The chooks are just hilarious, and it's lovely to hear them scrabbling and clucking around the garden all day. I can vouch for the deliciousness of their eggs too. I can't thank Alison and Graeme for everything they did to make me feel completely welcome in their home, and for the opportunity to spend some time with their wonderful animals. I would happily return any time.
Avo and Mango are two adorable little cats. I looked after them for ten days and they were such endearing company. Although both are very independent and come and go as they please (mostly at night), they were cuddly and stayed around to be with me. They even came for walks with me, so cute! I really got attached to them and am going to miss them a lot. Loré is a great host. We had our first chat on WhatsApp and as I was in the area earlier than needed I could meet them all before the sit. She made me feel welcome the first moment we met, provided me with everything I needed, and was always happy to receive pictures from her babies. Thank you for everything, if I come to this corner of the world again I would happily sit for you again!
We had a wonderful time cat sitting for Barb. Her house was perfect in every way and her cat was so great to be around. I would recommend this sit to anyone, and hope to return one day in the future.
Jake and Hannah (and their daughter, Elsie) are very friendly and considerate. From our first conversation, I immediately felt welcomed. I had a video call with Hannah before confirming our sit, everything was explained clearly. They then sent me more videos and photos to explain some things more clearly. Their house is less than 10 mins walk from the train station, but they arranged a family member to pick us up with a car from the train station. So you could imagine how nice they are. Their house is very tidy and clean. It doesn’t look like a house with 4 cats. I barely found a cat’s hair on the floor. Their 4 cats, Tilly, Sassy, Bart and Paddy are very friendly and easy to take care of. They are mainly outside during the day and have their toilet times outside. We had a wonderful time in Burnham-on-Crouch. My children enjoyed crabbing at the riverside and playing with Elsie’s toys. Jake and Hannah did their utmost best to make sure our stay went well. We would highly recommend the family to anyone.
Kelly and Brandon are easy-going and the cabin is peaceful and serene. I loved the two dogs, Kira and Bella and we went on many hikes up the mountain. Highly recommend this hs gig!
