Dog Sitters in Motherwell

Our dogs Jaxon & Baxter decided to be a bit of a challenge, Jaxon did not want to go for a walk and then they both decided they did not want to eat. Hannah discussed the issues with us and we worked out how to deal with them. Our dogs have not been left on their own since COVID and I think they thought they would take advantage of the new sitter. The house was left clean and tidy and I would recommend Hannah & Alastair any time. As this was our first time to use TrustHousesitters they made the experience easy and they also met up with us so that we could discuss the trip in detail and they could meet the dogs.

Stephen and Susan stepped in after other sitters let us down. They did everything we’d want of sitters. They kept in touch appropriately, sent some pictures that reassured us that our dogs were settling with them and some of their trips out. We returned home to two happy dogs and a clean and tidy home. They offered to shop for our return too. Lovely people we’d be happy to recommend as sitters.

Another 5 star review for Megan! It was very easy to leave my cat George with her as communication was very smooth from get go. Megan is friendly and reliable. She sent me regular updates where I could see the cat was very comfy with her. I returned to a clean flat, which is always nice. Thank you Megan :)

We would highly recommend Gabrielle! She seems like a very friendly, outgoing and reliable person. She took great care of our cat and she spent time asking questions on how best to do that. We really appreciated the communication/photos throughout the sit, which put our minds at rest that Ziggy was happy and relaxed. We found the cottage as we left it and were very happy with the sit. We really couldn’t have asked for more from James and Chloe as pet sitters. They accepted the sit at fairly short notice and were very flexible with dates (we were going away to care for elderly parents after heart surgery and there was some uncertainty around the date of the surgery). They showed a real understanding of animal behaviour and really bonded with Perky during the week. They kept us very well informed whilst we were away and we came back to a spotless home. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask James and Chloe back for future sits.

Guy was just fantastic. I have two cats with very different personalities and needs and Guy was wonderful with both of them. Both Prince and Elton were so at ease when I returned after a week and a half away, it was as if I’d just popped to the supermarket (over seven years I’ve had various people caring for them and usually I get the cold shoulder from my Elton for a full day). Prince is typically an extremely shy and timid cat… by day two he was sitting in Guys lap letting him pet him. This is unheard of- I’d actually told Guy not to be offended if Prince mostly stayed to himself and just came out for his food! He also sent loads of charming photos and amusing updates, which kept my mind at rest while away. They both seem to have really bonded to Guy and I only wish I could hire him as a full-time live-in nanny 😂 he really seemed to get their personalities and was willing to put in all the time and attention they needed. As for the apartment- he was respectful of everything, clean and tidy… perfect 👌 A heartfelt thanks to you Guy from me, P and E. And if you’re on here looking for a stellar sitter for your cats, then look no further… Guy is your guy 😻🤷🏻‍♀️

Sophie was very nice and looked after Lucy and the hens well. Everything was how we left it and that’s great!

It was great to have Deborah look after our house and pets - she was always ready to give information and updated us. She took great care of our house as well as pets. We would be delighted if she can come back in the future - thanks for everything Deborah

Susan is a very warm, friendly lady, with a bubbly personality. We took to her the minute she walked through our door. She asked all the right questions about looking after our fur babies, and all 3 of them enjoyed her company-especially Gia. Susan spent lots of time playing with Gia, both indoors and out (on the lead), and took great care to keep her eye clean at all times. She sent us photos and videos every day, and kept us up to date with their eating habits. We came home to 3 very happy cats, and a spotless house. We would definitely recommend Susan, and would love to have her sit for us again.

Hajar and her daughters were perfectly dependable, good communication and polite. The house was left just as they found it.

Iryna's is a lovely person, who communicated well, and took great care of our home, and our dog, Bear. Bear warmed to her immediately, and was very happy to be left in her care. We would happily recommend Iryna.

If Carlsberg did house sitters… What are truly delightful couple June and Malcolm are! Our pets and home couldn’t have been in better hands. I felt absolutely comfortable with them straight away, and so did our pups. I hope our paths cross again. Thank you both!
