Karen and Anthony are lovely hosts! They showed me everything on the day of my arrivel and we had a very good talk about things to do and where to eat in Uxbridge and in Central London. It was my first housesit and my first time in London and I couldn't have felt more welcome! Also the welcome package included clear instructions for everything. Their house is a small and cozy place where it was easy to feel like being at home and to make myself comfortable. Minnie is an absolutely sweetheart and very easy to care for. She was very talkactive and always 'informed' me when she arrived back home or she wanted something. The connection to the Center of Uxbridge is excellent (about 15 minutes by foot or 7 Minuted by bus) and travelling to Central London is also no trouble at all. I would absolutely recommend this housesit!
What a relaxing sit! Julia and Ben are a friendly and laid back couple who welcomed me into their renovated farmhouse with a delicious dinner. Loki their adorable dog is as chilled and as a gourmet than his parents! He loves just being near you, especially snoozing on the terrace and sleeping in his basket in the bedroom or on his beam bag in the sitting room. He also enjoys a ride in the car but in his heart he is truly happy at home so there I stayed with him and we took advantage of the two terraces, the covered one with the hammocks and the sunny one with the sun beds. There is also a nice plunge pool in the garden. Loki is an ideal companion, looking at you so lovingly that your heart will melt. I enjoyed every minute and it was difficult to say goodbye.
