We were delighted to fuss over 4 cute pussy cat's... What a lovely home and was a warm welcome from owner... Bex. Gorgeous town to visit.. extra bonus Christmas lights & decorations ...
Hanging out with Leo😸and Florence 😻was amazing. Florence sat on me (yup not just on my lap, but on me wherever suited her) regardless of what I was doing. Not always convenient but soooo cute and snuggly. Leo prefers a blanket in between human and cat. Otherwise, he just sat really close. The house is most comfortable and Erin's spices drawer! It has every single thing from my cookbook where I was still googling what something even is! The area of town is full of cafés, eateries and shops. Even though all but grocery stores were closed due to lockdown, it still adds a great atmosphere to walking the streets exploring. Oh and right in the street, like less than 1-minute walk, is a large eco, biological, fair trade and any other good labels you care to whack on it supermarket. Erin was available through WhatsApp before and during the stay and communication was easy, clear and fun. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now I should rewrite this and NOT hype it all up so much, as I am hoping to sit again one day and don't need anyone reading this applying at the same time! 😂
Had the absolute best time pet sitting for Julia's 5 amazing cats. They all have their own unique personality and took to me in their own individual way over the week that I stayed. 5 cats did not feel like a lot at all! Probably because I love cats but also because the cat flap allows them to come and go as they please. Julia is great at communication and we were in touch every day with updates. I felt very welcome in the home. Amazing views of the estuary and incredible coastal walks with the path starting less than a 5 minute walk down the road. Really felt like I was on holiday and would definitely host for Julia again!
This was a wonderful house sit. Judith and Terry are a very warm and friendly couple who enjoy their travels and we looked after their 2 labs, Layla and Jess over the Christmas and New Year period. The house is set in a small village in the middle of the Champagne region (beautiful) just over an hour south of Reims and is surrounded by lots of opportunities for good walks with the dogs - also, vehicle was provided to transport the dogs. The house is very comfortable and well equipped and kept warm in the winter by a very effective log burner - we were left plenty of logs which was great. We were given a very comfortable, spacious bedroom with it's own show room and the bed was very comfortable. Layla and Jess are lovely dogs and very well trained into their routine and well behaved when out. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and are hoping to have the opportunity to be with them again in the future. We would highly recommend this house sit.
We had a great time at Douglas and Junes. They took a lot of time to instruct us and they made us feel like at home. The three animals are really lovely and easy to look after. The walks with the two labradors give your day a structure, next to that there is also time to discover the beautiful Dordogne region with its villages and vineyards. We are very thankful for this great experience and recommend it warmly. Thank you Douglas and June!
We had the best time looking after the lovely Lola! She is the sweetest, cuddliest and most behaved little pup. Even though she's not yet 1 she was incredible on the lead, at home and at pubs. She was honestly an all round delight! The sit was brilliant, Caroline was great with communication. We had a video call a few weeks before and as we were local we met up for a walk with Caroline and Lola the week before so Lola would be familiar with us. This was great and really helpful to get an idea of Lola's routine. Throughout the sit Caroline was great at replying (despite being at a festival!). Her home is beautiful and tidy and a lovely place to have a cosy weekend with Lola! There are beautiful walks around Arnos Vale which is so close by. We couldn't recommend this sit enough. We're so pleased we've met Caroline and we'd love to come back to sit Lola again!
