This house sit was probably my most enjoyable and I'm so thankful to have had the chance to sit for Suzi and her two fur babies. Suzi has a beautiful spacious home decorated with her own personal artwork that was warm and inviting. Additionally, the location just down the road from Omega Institute and surrounded by trees and water made this sit a soul retreat. Suzi was easy to communicate with and very generous with her home. I had the opportunity to take an art class at Omega and to add to the enjoyment of the sit. It was wonderful to be able to walk back and forth as it's only 1/2 a mile away. There's also a nice little corner grocery/cafe about a mile away that makes for a beautiful walk. Rhinebeck is a quick 10 minute drive away with shopping, restaurants and grocery. As if things couldn't get better, Baby Mama and Queenie were the stars of the sit. They are two very cute and cuddly little ones. We spent many days and nights enjoying both play time and cuddle time. Baby Mama is a bit timid but warms up easily. Queenie is a ball playing little fool and wearing her out was a challenge, in a good way. They are both easy to care for and warm up quickly.
An amazing trustedhousetitters experience! We loved our stay with Toulouse and Nionios, they are completely different characters and don't always get along, but there are tricks and approaches making it 100% manageable and pleasant experience. Kalamaria district where Rhea and Dimitris live is beautiful. After just 5 minutes of walking you are by the seaside enjoying some amazing views. There are so many different restaurants and cafes where you can get a real local experience. Getting to the center of Thessaloniki felt quick and easy, there are a lot of buses. The apartment itself deserves a separate review - it's so spacious with a HUGE balcony, very clean and beautifully decorated. Rhea and Dimitris are the best hosts, we got some great sightseeing/food recommendations from them and they are in general very easy-going and kind people - thank you again, guys!
We had a great time caring for Milo, Winnie, Otis & the chickens! Dana & Clint are wonderful generous people. Their home is comfortable, decorated well & clean. All their instructions were written & detailed which made it super easy. Milo & Winnie are well behaved on leashes & we enjoyed all the walking paths right behind their house. These two kept us entertained with their backyard romping & Otis the cat would join in sometimes too. And then when it’s time to come in & settle down, all the animals will just lounge around with you. This is a great sit with wonderful pets. Thanks Dana & Clint!
Definitely enjoyed my stay with Max. He’s such a sweet guy, ready for action as well as just relaxing. And he made waking up so much fun when, right on schedule, he’d appear at the bed and sweet-talk me into getting up to feed him with the funniest sounds ever! Kari and Colin made the sit easy, providing all of the information I needed, including Max’s favorite places to walk in the neighborhood and when he’s used to being fed. They quickly responded when I had a question and were thoughtful in letting me know that all was well when they arrived home (since I’d left first). Last but not least, their home is super-comfortable and in an incredible location. The marina green is just a block away and Fort Mason, with great walking and food options, is just another block or two beyond that. It doesn’t get any better: a very sweet dog, thoughtful homeowners, and a spectacular place to stay!
Lovely dogs, lovely house and area for dog walking, nice town and host!
Highly recommended! From the beginning stages of planning, Hillary was incredibly kind & communicative. She welcomed us and made us feel very comfortable, especially in her cute apartment with her adorable pup, Bea, & cuddly trio of kitties. The apartment is in a prime location for neighborhood walks & is a short drive to all the charming elements of the Bay Area. It is also great for remote working. We hope to return soon. Two thumbs up!👍👍
