Amy and Mike are the kind of home owners that many housesitters dream of receiving an invitation to care for their home and fur babies. Kind, considerate, upbeat, communicative and inspirational! Best of all, they allow you to share some time in their beautiful home with their adorable Yorkie, Fresca! I’ve met some wonderful critters in my years housesitting, but every once in a while I get to experience a unique connection with a playful, happy, loving little package of FUN like Fresca! Two weeks was not long enough with this little sweetheart! Hopefully we’ll have the chance to reconnect in the not too distant future for another housesit adventure. Fingers and toes crossed! Broc is totally adorable! It was such a pleasure to spend a week with him. He is well behaved and affectionate, an absolute sweetheart. Verity made me feel very welcome in her home and I was very comfortable. We had great communication both before and during the sit. We went for a walk around the fields next to the house before she left, which meant that I knew exactly where to go and how Broc behaved on and off lead. I was very sad to say goodbye to Broc. If you love the large shaggy dogs then I highly recommend looking after this lovely boy.
First and foremost, Alex and Richard are some of the kindest hosts you’ll meet on TrustedHousesitters. On the night we arrived, they went above and beyond by making dinner for us, proceeded by a nice evening full of conversation. When leaving, they provided us with a very handy guide - not only for Monty but for the house too😊 Monty is a lovely dog, full of character, and is always happy to see you in the mornings. He loves his countryside walks and exploring but is very reliable so returns to you when you call his name. He loves to be by your side which is great company when working remotely or just generally. He is so loveable that it was quite sad to say goodbye - we hope to look after him again soon! And thank you to Alex and Richard for allowing us to complete this sit.
We had a great time in Ventura with Kiki! She’s a lot of fun & always up for a walk or a game of chase in the front yard. Quill & Kelsey were very kind and made sure we were comfortable in their home. Quill made sure we could get the channels we were looking for to watch the Olympic trials & Wimbledon! We enjoyed all the 4th of July festivals, antique car show, and the XGames, which were happening while we were there. Quill & Kelsey’s apartment is short walking distance to the beach and a great boardwalk. We highly recommend this sit and hope to come back in the future!
I had a great time looking after Landi’s crew! Each of the pets have a unique personality, but all of them are very sweet. The cats are pretty low maintenance- Padfoot and Sir Purrsalot were great to cuddle with 😊. The dogs, Wally and Stormfly, are very sweet as well and spent most of the day keeping me company while I worked. Landi was helpful, easy to communicate with and made sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable, which I appreciated! They have a beautiful home in a very safe area with an awesome view of the city.
I absolutely enjoyed this sit! Maude is a sweetheart, she made me a friend straight away. She kept me laughing with her energy and playfulness. Sarah has a lovely home, it was nice and clean when I arrived. I’d sit for Maude again with pleasure. 🙌🏻
