This was our first house/pet sit and it was perfect. Emma and Henry made us feel very welcome and we fell in love with Fig straight away. The house is lovely and the annex we stayed in was ideal. It was homely, private and much more than we had hoped for. Emma told us all about the house and what was needed for Fig. The location was beautiful and Sunday lunch at the Queen's Head was scrumptious. We had the best time with Fig. She loved her walks, her recall was excellent, she was so loving and also really playful. Everything you want in a dog and more. Having recently lost our chocolate labrador, Poppi, we were feeling very sad and empty. Fig helped us enormously. If the opportunity arose we would definitely look after her like a shot. Thank you, Emma, Henry and Fig for making our first sit such a pleasure x
There is little we can add to the previous lovely reviews. Erin and Tim are very hospitable, their home is spacious, bright, and very orderly and neat. We felt welcomed and very comfortable. Peanut and Jerry are a dream, very easy to medicate, simply just 2 of the most gentle and sweetest cats you will meet. With the tram line running next to the house, you can get into town quickly and easily and do some exploring whilst the boys sleep. And in the evenings, get ready for some company on the sofa and enjoy the 2 cute purring machines. Thank you Erin and Tim for having us!
Mike and Helen were wonderful hosts and made us very welcome providing us with lots of helpful information on the local area. Elsie and Pinkie are sweet, gentle dogs and very loving in their own ways. They were good company and kept us entertained during our stay in this beautiful part of Egypt.
Thank you so much PJ and Kat for having us in your spacious, clean home. We loved how close your home was to Oxford Central, which is gorgeous and has such a buzz. Skye and Tess are cuddly, affectionate dogs who love snuggling on the couch or playing with the ball. We will miss seeing their little faces light up when we come through the front door! Thanks PJ and Kat for being such warm and helpful hosts. We hope you had a lovely holiday!
Wow! Where to begin?! You would think with Grafton, VT being such a small town we wouldn’t have much to say but it is the exact opposite! We had big moments of AWESOME in Grafton: the night sky, walking along the river, seeing a wedding party, meeting friendly towns folk, and so much more! The town is so picturesque. The inn from 1801, the old church, and post office… remind you of the humble beginnings of all humanity’s settlements. We walked through the town’s trails to the cheese company and got some fresh cheese. We strolled to the general store day for a delicious breakfast sandwich. And the house… my goodness Frances’ and Mark’s house blew our minds! With all of the art work and fanatical wallpaper it was akin to stepping into Willy Wonka’s world of infinite imagination. It truly was a treat to be nested in such a specially decorated home. And now to write about the element of the sit we’ve all been waiting to hear about… THE CATS! DIXIE, REX, and QUINCY! Oh my goodness the cats are the absolute sweetest, not only to us human’s but to one another! Licking and cuddling and lots of purring are in store for you with each of these furry friends! Quincy will make you giggle with his belly showing stretches, Dixie with her endless scratchy licks and Rex with his mandatory chest cuddles😀 Truly this stay is a blessing! One more thing, the cleaner Daniella is INCREDIBLY KIND! So down to earth, very communicative and helpful. Thank you for reading our joyful experience in this review! It’s a great stay!
Chelsea's place was such a great stay. The house is beautiful, the location is incredible for getting to know Staten Island, the neighbors are friendly, the shop owners are kind and helpful, and Reagan and Peanut are amazing dogs - it was so hard to say goodbye to them! Chelsea and Ian made sure my stay was super comfortable, too. Highly recommend this sit if you want two dogs to cuddle with you and a great place to explore Staten Island (or get away from the city in general!)
