Shane and Wayne were great to house sit for. They made us feel very welcome in their home, which was lovely and in a great spot. The pets were a pleasure to take care of and hard to say goodbye to. Shane and Wayne were also kind enough to send us a few belongings we left there by accident in the post.
It was such a great and easy house sit! We looked after the cats and the chickens only, while the dogs took their hooman to a cabin. Lily and Hobbes are extremely sweet, and both looooove to cuddle. The chickens were easy to take care of, but at the same time they were very productive: we were getting more eggs than we could eat. The neighborhood is very quiet, close to the park and the lake, it was nice to take a walk there. Thank you, Heather and Chris, for having us! It was a pleasure to house/pet sit for you!
It was a pleasure to look after Greg and Tobys 'fur baby' chihuahuas. The 3 of them had great personalities and warmed to us quite quickly. The property is in an amazing peaceful location on the water with beautiful gardens and we enjoyed many lovely sunsets. Greg and Toby are great hosts and made us feel very welcome.
Karen was great and so were the dogs! Communication was excellent.
This is one house sit we cannot say enough good things about. First off, Jacqueline and her husband (Bas) are the most wonderful and delightful people. They welcomed us into their beautiful home and made us feel like family. They went above and beyond any expectation of a house sit. The location of the home is perfect. Close enough to the mountains and close to the motorways. The home itself is beautiful and sparkling clean, with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The Wi-Fi is very strong, and they have a great TV with Netflix. They have a great patio with great views on the mountain. You will not get bored! We watched three of the most lovable cats, each with their own personality. Aruna the oldest cat, is gentle and sweet. She will need affection, but she likes to sleep a lot! Although they are all affectionate, Tigris, seemed to be the most. Tigis loves to cuddle and be around people. She especially loves to eat! Whiskey is the smallest and youngest cat. She does not like to be held but will still love a cuddle on her own terms. Over the past 3 days, we got to know these cats and fall in love. We are so excited to come back to this house sit in a few weeks. We are already missing Jackqueline, Bas and the girls.
The Cruz family was kind and welcoming. The house is in walking distance from the beach and trails, which are great with the dog. Mittens is a good walker and a very friendly dog. We had an amazing time, would highly recommend !

Well, it's the safest, warmest, gentlest place for a pet I'd ever seen or trusted your pets are in great hands. The owner treats me like a son .
Incredibly happy I found Steven and his wife. Had not left my senior Labrador in anyone else's care for nearly 7 years basically because I didn't trust anyone. Knew from our meet & greet that my guy would essentially be on a vacation and receive the care & attention he needs. Grateful about every aspect of his stay. Thank you!
Our Home Dog Boarding is the best "cage-less" kennel care your pet will receive. I boarded my dog with one of the sponsor families and she was absolutely wonderful. The process is easy. Steve will set you up with a meet and greet with the family who is approved by Steven himself, if all goes well you set the date and drop off your dog and his/her things to the host. I've boarded my dog several times and have never had an issues at all. Such a great concept and very affordable.
So very highly recommended. The personal attention and care Stephen and his team of people (especially Diane) that open their homes to my dog is above and beyond expectations. My dog has fairly severe separation anxiety and Stephen has the patience to understand him and our situation and accommodate and care for him in so many ways that make him comfortable. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my child is with people that understand, appreciate him and work hard to make him as comfortable as possible. He and his team are true dog lovers and understanders; consistently and thankfully accommodating to my and my dogs personal situation. I very highly recommend!
I met Steve Linn when I had a rather old, very sick Brittany. I had previously used Lakeside Kennels for years, but I did not want to leave him there to go on a long vacation when he became ill. I saw a business card that Steve had posted on a message board at my gym. I called him and started interviewing some of Steve's dog hosts. We found a perfect place with a host who did older dogs and took them on many short walks a day and spent the rest of his time at home with all the dog beds lying in front of him. It was the perfect place for my dog. Unfortunately Zeke has gone to the rainbow bridge. Now I have Elvis a 2 1/2 year old Brittany. I have left him with two different hosts at Christmas and have been very happy with both experiences. I wouldn't consider leaving him anywhere else. Now Steve is making mailboxes with your dog's face and body surrounding it. This mailbox is a big hit with my family and all my family and neighbors who have seen it. I am sure you will find a picture of it on Steve website. It is the one with the gorgeous orange brittany on it.
I cannot say enough great things about this service. Dianne (Grandma) was fantastic. The fact that a meet and greet with your dog before you leave them is very comforting as it gave me peace of mind knowing ahead of time that our Maggie would be happy there. The process from start to finish was easy and efficient. Did not have to wait for responses to inquiries. Just wished Grandma lived next door, such a lovely person.
Both Rhett Butler and I are thoroughly enjoying your service! I can see the difference in him when I pick him up from the boarders (Kim and Diane). He is carefree. In the past as much as I liked the service I used; when I picked him up he was anxious and it was apparent that he'd been over licking his forearms. When I travel I don't even worry about him now. I have peace of mind. Thank you!
Bentley loves visiting for both day care and boarding!!
Our dog loves Our Home Dog Boarding
Our 10 month old puppy was dealing with severe anxiety and caused him to be extremely sensitive around other dogs and people. He would bark uncontrollably and lunge at them. After two weeks of board and training with Ray, our sweet pup is kind and gentle when around others. He is no longer triggered by even dogs barking at him! We could not be more grateful for this training! Thanks Ray!
I had my 11 month old Doberman do a board and train with Ray. He posted videos I got to see, did a 1 week check-in at my house to go over things and went over things at the end of the board and train. He did a variety of different training and activities for my dog- walks, out in Haddonfield, pack walk at timber creek, socialization, gaining confidence on the platform and balance beam, riding a bike with my dog running along. He recommended and got her a weighted vest to help calm her and slow down and she’s doing really well in it. So far, she is doing well- she is walking perfectly alongside me at my pace and not pulling ahead. I got lots of compliments at Lowe’s how well behaved she is! Ray really seems to know his stuff and takes different approaches and I’m glad I chose him.
Ray is amazing- he has true knowledge on dog behaviors and goes above and beyond to ensure healthy boundaries with your dog- very easy to schedule and answers you anytime you have questions- highly recommend- Thank you Ray- my Cooper is a calmer dog thanks to you!!
My 3 year old Pitbull Sinba is a completely new dog with all of the tools Ray has provided me with to train her at home, during sessions, and now after training! I am super grateful for all of his help and I highly recommend!!
Ray took my beagle puppy for a board and train for two weeks and the results were phenomenal. Came back changed and listens! Then used Ray to board him while I went away and took very good care of him and knew he was in great hands. Highly recommend Transform Your Dog if you need an effective and gray dog trainer!
We used Ray’s services to board and train our nervous and reactive Great Dane, Maxine. After the initial in home consultation it was very obvious Ray is extremely knowledgeable and insightful regarding dog behavior and we immediately felt comfortable moving forward. He provided not only obedience training but helped us understand and navigate her behavioral issues. After her return home she was immediately easier to manage. Still some kinks to work out on our evening walks and Ray was happy to join us and provide additional feedback and support. Would 10/10 recommend!
Ray was great! After 1 visit my puppy was walking in a leash like a pro. Timely, reliable and effective! Highly recommend
Ray did an amazing job. Not only teaching our Lab, Lola, but teaching the entire family. It is as much about our behavior around the puppy as it is about the pups. We had a great experience with Ray and continue to use his services as needed. We are glad to have reached out to Ray. He is great at what he does.
I am so happy with the service I have received from Transform Your Dog, and I have learned so much. Even if you think “I don’t need more training or help with training”, it is so worth it. I’ve been fortunate that in my history of dogs I’ve never had a dog with a poor temperament or behavioral issues, but after training with Ray, I have received an overwhelming amount of compliments on my dog’s behavior/training unlike ever before. Everywhere I bring my dog, strangers are amazed that he is still a puppy. They often think he is 3 or 4 years old, to which I say, no he turns 1 year in a few months. Even my groomer said she has never seen such a well behaved puppy! I practice everything I’ve learned from Ray, and I share his methods with my friends who have seen behavioral improvements even in their well-behaved dogs. Ray addressed my concerns and always responded quickly. He gave me resources to invest in my dog’s health and longevity, and is a great reference when looking for insight on a particular issue.
Ray did his thing with my boy Tank. His behaviors are no longer extreme as they were, he follows direction so much better now and I feel like I am better equipped to be a better dog mom for Tank. Thanks so much for all your help!!
