Leo and Susi were amazing pet sitters! They were attentive and conscientious when setting up the sit and ensuring they had all the information they needed. They provided loving care to all the animals, cats, chickens and fish sending some pictures to prove it! Kitty does not sleep on everyone's lap, only those she likes and trusts so that is high praise :) The garden is in full growing season so I felt a bit badly about the watering requirements, but they did great to keep everything growing. Leo and Susi left the house cleaner than they received it, I am very grateful for their efforts! I would heartily recommend them and would not hesitate to have them care for my home and pets again!

Samara is a charming beach town in Costa Rica. Edith and Marco's home is located a bit away from the town's center—a 20-minute walk along the dirt road or an 8-minute bike ride. Costa Rica is a stunning location, yet it requires one to be at ease with nature and adaptable to various conditions such as road quality, abundant flora and fauna, insects, and the occasional water or power outages, especially during the green season, which spans from May to early November. Having lived in Costa Rica for the past two years, I am well-acquainted and comfortable with these aspects.

During my early July visit, the weather was delightful with sunny mornings transitioning to occasional rainy afternoons or evenings. Walking or biking on muddy roads in the rain is not enjoyable, so for those visiting during the rainy season, using a golf cart or car is highly advisable.

I looked after Edith and Marco's four cats. It may seem like a lot of work, but it was quite manageable since the cats are very independent and enjoy an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. The only exception is Jean, who needs to stay indoors more often to prevent conflicts with a neighboring cat.

Two of the cats had fungal ear infections, which required daily external application of medication to their ears. They were not fond of the treatment, but it became more manageable over time as I mastered the technique for holding them still.

I found my stay enjoyable, especially caring for the cats. It would be helpful for future sitters to receive a welcome guide and detailed instructions for administering medication. I would certainly recommend this sit to other pet sitters.

I had a wonderful two-week stay with Bailey & Mastiha! It was hard to say goodbye—they are great pups, and enjoyed walks, cuddles, and various keepaway-type games. They do pretty well on walks, and get along with most other dogs we’d encounter. They slept well each night, usually starting on the bed next to me. 🙂
Communication with the family was easy and prompt, and I truly appreciated their trust in me as their sitter. They made sure I was set up for success in the sit and in my time in Boston.
The home was very comfortable, quiet and well-equipped, and is a fantastic Jamaica Plain location a short walk from the Forest Hills transit hub where commuter rail, subway and bus lines meet. It’s also right next to the Harvard arboretum and not far from a “greenway” so walking the pups was very easy since there were several good route choices.
I hope to sit for them again!

Lovely couple of days at Lauren’s home with the gorgeous kitty Ollie, we soon made friends and had lots of play time. Lauren was easy to communicate with, friendly and hospitable and left me some yummy vegan food. I’m looking forward to going back again in a few weeks.

Kali what a sweet fur ball of fun. Fun to watch and fun to have this gentle soul curl up or out stalking in the yard. Genevieve's home is on a quiet street and the area around McKinleyville is so northern California at its finest. I was welcomed and had good communication, everything was perfect.
Cheers, Eileen
