Barb and Mike were very welcoming and my mom and I felt right at home. Bertie and Jimmy like their routine and will give you reminders if they want something (both helpful and amusing). Local buses are quite good so we were able to explore a bIt and there are some good pubs within walking distance. Overall a great sit.
Petsitting for Colleen and Dan was another great experience. Communication with Colleen was seamless from the start. Colleen's impressive organizational skills made caring for the cats very easy. At home I was warmly welcomed with a chocolate Easter bunny and lots of tourist information about the area. Each of the cats is equally sweet, easy to care for, and Loki is a real cuddle. We met a week in advance to discuss and show everything. That was very pleasant and I was very well informed. Everything was written down again on pieces of paper and was clear. Zeus and Nyx couldn't be more different in character, but that's what makes the team so sweet and perfect. I am very happy about getting to know all four :) Dog encounters weren't a problem either. Zeus and Nyx don't bark at anyone on their own initiative. And walk quite well on a leash. The house is also very comfortable and makes you feel good. Always a pleasure :)
Bella and I connected for a very last minute sit. She was patient, communicative, available, and helpful. The kits were all charmers. Sweet, funny, patient, kind, cuddly, curious...and each with their own adorable personality. Location is convenient and I felt very safe for my visit. There was an unfortunate loss of a fish while I was there, but Bella informed me of the possible issues and we stayed in touch. Together, we wished him a happy crossing to the rainbow sea. Fare well, sweet fish.
