We had a great time taking care of Apollo & Atlas! They are two big lovable doggies who love to play! Both of them are very well trained & love to cuddle & get pets. The house was very clean and Jezreil was also really accommodating and communicative.
Jenna was exceptional with communication and very accommodating. It was an absolute pleasure being with Martini because she is so sweet, adorable, and wellbehaved.
I really enjoyed my time in this beautiful home in the mountains. Marie and Oisin are both very kind and interesting people, who have built a dream off-grid home with many alternative technologies (solar panels, composting toilet, rain water storage, wildlife pond, and currently working on installing a grey water filtration system, among other things...). There was also a large garden with an abundance of fresh Spring veggies, surrounded by a landscape filled with wild herbs, asparagus, and blue and violet Spanish lupines. There are several hiking trails accessible from the front door, and Canyamars is also only a short (15 minute) walk if you'd like to visit the village restaurant. To arrive, I took a short train ride from Barcelona to Mataró, then caught a quick bus to Canyamars. Luka is the most incredibly loving and obedient boy. We became fast friends and enjoyed spending our days hiking through the hills, playing fetch, and lounging in the sun. He is such a sweetheart, and takes his shepherding and protecting duties very seriously. Lily is also easy to look after as she mostly spends her days patrolling outside, generally only coming inside for meals and bedtime. She is independent but affectionate. I would highly recommend this sit for anyone interested in experiencing off-grid living in the beautiful landscape of Catalunya!
This is a great assignment close to downtown Annapolis. The house is clean, comfortable, and has a beautiful garden that attracts lots of birds and small animals that u can comfortably view either outside or in the amazing sunroom. The cats are just lovely!! They will even sleep w u in the guest quarters once they get accustomed to u. The cat care is very simple and straight forward and even with the one kitty getting an inhaler twice a day, it’s very easy to learn. Janet is lovely and make amazing homemade granola too.
I recently had the pleasure of house sitting for Lexie and taking care of her three adorable dogs, Ivy, Ludo, and Nellie. The entire experience was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Highlights: - Daily walks: The scenery was breathtaking, and the dogs were always so enthusiastic about getting out and exploring. - River swims: a real treat, even during the winter months. It was refreshing and invigorating, and I always felt so energised afterward. - Duck eggs: apparently you're not supposed to eat more than 3 per week, but when there are 3 fresh every day, what's a guy to do?! Delicious omelettes, rich crepes, and lovely boiled egg snacks. Lexie was a gracious and thoughtful host. I was truly touched by her kindness and hospitality. Overall, I would highly recommend this house sitting job to anyone who loves dogs and appreciates the beauty of nature. It was an unforgettable experience, and I would jump at the chance to do it again.
Victoria is extremely kind and easy going. Despite some last minute problems she did her best and was so considerate about my stay at her place. Her home is a lovely and cosy flat in Streatham area. She left the flat clean and everything was well explained beforehand. Victoria’s kindness and open communication let me feel welcome and comfortable since the first talk. Minnie is such a cute and funny cat, she comes and go but likes to have company around. A great company and super easy to look after.
