Melissa was a gem to have at the house and the kitties loved her! She went out of her way to come for a walk-through prior to the sit and had some really thoughtful questions to make sure she had everything necessary before I disappeared out of cell service for a week. I know that the cats loved her because they were so calm and happy when I came home. She's got a great energy about her and animals can certainly feel that as well. Melissa was extra flexible when I ended up having to come home a little bit early due to a mishap in my trip. She's excellent at communicating, kept a very clean house, and gave the cats everything they could possibly need for the week. I didn't worry for one second. I would love to have Melissa back and I know the boys feel the same way.
I had an absolutely fantastic time with Alba and at Emer’s and Bryan’s place! Alba is a lovely dog, loves to play with his ball or being taken on a roadtrip. Emer and Bryan were extremely welcoming, they invited me for dinner the evening before and it was lovely having conversations with them. The place is very nice, just next to a forest which is perfect for morning walks. Overall, it was great!
I've had a long, cozy, and delightful sitting with Michi and Keylo. Each of them has a unique and adorable personality. Keylo loves to play and often shows interest in food. Michi is so calm and adorable; she ran up to me as soon as she saw me, wanting to be petted. They are easy to care for, and the house was well-prepared. I had detailed information about the kitties and the house, which was very helpful. Transportation is conveniently close. Lesley and Doug were incredibly welcoming and treated me very well. I loved the world map and magnets on the fridge; they clearly love to travel. Lesley gave me some trip recommendations as well. I had a good and relaxing time here. I would love to petsit for them again. Thanks for everything! 🌸
I had a great time at Miriam's looking after the lovely little Max. He was a joy to spend some time with. Really easy to care for and very friendly. He will especially come up for some attention in the evenings but didn't wake me on any of the mornings, which was a bonus. Miriam's flat is really nicely decorated and it made my short trip to Lewes even more like a proper holiday! There are some lovely pubs 5 mins walk away and stunning outdoor gardens. Miriam was a friendly host and gave me all the info I needed before she left for her trip.
Sitting at Jennifer’s house was an absolute delight. It’s a beautifully decorated, artistic house that is very spacious and comfortable. Zoe is getting to be fairly old and likes to sleep a lot. Though, when she is not sleeping she likes interactions. She will walk over you in bed or on the couch, sit right on your lap, and enjoys petting, when in your lap. (But funnily not while she is walking around). She can be a bit needy, meowing for attention until you figure out what she wants, food, water or play. I found it to be a fun and interactive experience. Jennifer also gave a great, detailed guide about the house and suggestions of sites to visit, cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.
This was such a wonderful cat-sit just a short walk from Edinburgh centre! Heather is so lovely and talked me through everything I needed to know once I arrived. Carol was wonderful to sit for. She is very organized and it was easy to come into her beautiful house and feel at home. I loved to sit in the recliner in front of the windows, read, and look over the water. Loki was a doll: easy to walk and friendly.
