Jenny looked after our three cats for two weeks and she is an absolute godsend. The loveliest lady you could hope to meet who took such good care of them and our home. We received updates whilst we were away which was lovely and we cannot recommend her highly enough and look forward to her return soon when we are away again.
This dogs are super educated, sweet and just lovely to take care of, I had a great time with them and we got along great from the start. I totally recommend this sit, plus Samantha is great, amazing communication and always ready to sort anything out even away. Thank you for everything!
I had an absolutely wonderful time looking after Patch and Edie! They are both such characters, and I so enjoyed their company, going for leisurely walks in the local countryside (which has plenty of footpaths to explore and some really lovely views to take in), and playing ball as much as possible with Patch! You couldn't have a better pair to look after. Sarah and Gerald were extremely thoughtful, kind, and welcoming, and they introduced me to their beautiful home and routines prior to the sit, so I knew exactly what to expect. It was also lovely to get the chance to chat over a meal before they left. Their cottage is very comfortable, with a warm and cosy kitchen and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy to -- and in a really beautiful part of the country. Of course I highly recommend this sit! Just wonderful.
Sitting for Julie was a treat! The dogs were as lovey and non-barking as she said they were, and her home is comfortable and warm. I spent hours on the screened porch listening to the tree frogs at night and the owls calling across the backyard. The walks with the dogs around the neighborhood were scenic and peaceful, and there are trees as old as any I've seen. To put the icing on the cake, Julie and her husband are a delight, smart, fun, and as warm as the sun.
Basil and Sybil are Glen of Imaal terriers and I was curious to find out more about this rare breed. These cheerful, lively and friendly little dogs certainly lived up to the humour of their names. They were so much fun, constantly chasing and playing with each other. Good with people and other dogs, on and off lead, they were dream companions on our adventures around Dunbar’s scenic highlights. Roz and Jon have a stunning family home that is as uniquely stylish as it is warm and welcoming. Roz provided a very comprehensive welcome guide and we were able to go over any key points when I arrived. Roz was thoughtful and generous in ensuring that I was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. The house has extensive gardens that in their autumn colours were a daily pleasure to look upon and explore. I was pleased to meet Shirley, the gardener, whose expertise helps nature’s magic along. She was kind enough to offer me any help required. I really enjoyed spending time with Basil and Sybil and especially their joyful personalities, Sybil’s ‘smiles’ and their affectionate greetings. I am grateful to Roz and Jon for entrusting me with the care of their beloved pets and home. Should they require another short sit, I would be delighted to return.
Loved , loved, loved our stay in Sandbach. Baily and Phylis were amazing and so much fun. If you like walks Baily is your boy. He loves long walks morning, noon and night. So affectionate and such a good boy. Phylis so chilled, loves a good feed and hanging out with the other cats in the neighbourhood. The house is so comfortable and Jo and Russ are so friendly. We will be back.
We had a short but very pleasant stay at Kane’s house. Kane is a real sweetie! His two favorite pastimes are 1) going for walks, and 2) watching TV on the leather recliner sofa-- he’s happy to watch whatever you want if he can just lay on your lap and snooze! Although he is deaf, we had no trouble communicating with him. He warmed up to me right away, but was a little skittish with my husband for the first few hours. However, by the next morning they were absolute besties. Kane, like all of his breed, is very strong, and with the sidewalks icy from a snowstorm, I was thankful that my husband was there to help walk him. Pranee and LeAndre are personable, hospitable, and easygoing. Communication was great. Their house is lovely and was very clean. The neighborhood is safe and has pretty views of the golf course that you can enjoy on your walks. If you like breakfast foods, be sure to check out the Breakfast Club restaurant in nearby Lebanon--yum! Recommend this sit!
