My dog Thor and cat LC (Cuddles) love the folks at Sugar House Pets. Thor has been doing training with Tabitha and is a whole new dog, and LC just appreciates knowing she’s special. I had to be gone for almost two weeks and was worried about leaving them and SHP made the whole thing feel much less stressful. I love that they send several pictures and a little update with each visit. It goes a long way to ease one’s mind! Highly recommend them!!

Sugarhouse pets was a lifesaver for me and my dog during my work contract in Salt Lake. They took my pup out for a walk and potty, administered her medications, and gave her all the pets and love. They update you on the visit and send the cutest pictures as well. I am so thankful sugarhouse pets was able to help me and my dog while I was at work.

Sugarhouse Pets recently cared for my two dogs and cat for two days while I was out of town. I was pretty anxious about leaving my dogs for the first time home alone, but having the meet and greet beforehand, receiving the detailed updates about how they were doing, and what their visits were like made me feel so much better. All of the pictures I received while I was gone reassured me that my dogs were having a good time and were being well taken care of. I was expecting my dogs to be anxious when I came home due to the change in their routine, but they were just tired from playing with the sitters and happy to see me. I am super happy with the experience and Sugarhouse Pets will definitely be my go-to in the future!

I had Sugar House Pets take care of my cat when I went on a two-week vacation out of the country. They were very responsible to be there daily. They were great about following the instructions I left for my cat. They kept me notified with daily text as to what was happening with my cat. My cat is shy and won’t go to anyone. They made an effort to find her in the house and send me a pic of her every day, so I knew she’s was fine. That made me feel very good about her care. They were also very responsible with the security of my home. I recommend them to anyone who needs pet care. I will use them again. It’s a good feeling to know your pet is in good hands when your out of town.

We just picked up our two pups after our first time boarding them. We were so impressed with how well they were treated and cared for as well as how clean the facility is. We were worried about leaving them just because it was our first time but now feel so much better & are confident leaving them in Old Farm’s care. We absolutely recommend them to anyone & already have our two pups booked for upcoming holidays!

Our pups first visit there was a week long stay while we were out of state. She came back to us happy and healthy. The only thing I wish was different: there was zero communication the entire stay. We called and the update was just "oh she's great, we love her." As someone with a lot of anxiety and a senior dog, I just wish there were some updates (like, a brief daily "report card" or even a pic every few days would make me feel better). I plan to use them for short trips, but I'll probably look for a facility who has communication plans in place for longer stays.

Going to keep this review to the facts. Recently dropped our puppy off for a 9 night stay here and now we are hoping our dog wont have permanent scaring on her body. When we picked her up she was covered all over her body in a rash. She has never had any issues leading up to her stay. Throughout the 9 day stay we were never notified and in talking to the people the following day, they said she had no rash. Which means they didn't notice. The manager blames food allergies, which doesn't add up as she has been on the same food without any issues. But really doesn't address the fact that NOBODY NOTICED THE RASH OR NOTIFIED US. I've never run a doggy day care but I would think a daily inspection of the dogs would be protocol. If we had known about this we would have had someone come pick her up, to prevent it from getting any worse. I'm sure they will spin this a certain way but at the end of the day. No issues leading up to her stay, possibly permanent scaring after her stay. Also, she had happy tail bleeding and was never notified and when we had our reunion she was bleeding and again not notified. Causing blood to get all over our clothes ruining them. No remedies from the manager.

I cannot begin to explain how amazing and friendly this pet resort is. I was working 2 jobs when my puppy and I had to move. It was not so easy finding a new place and for a bit of time me and my pup were going to have to stay in separate places. Old farm not only welcomed my pit bull with open arms but they allowed me all the time I needed with her. She was injured when I checked her in and they made sure to accommodate her in any way possible. I cannot thank them enough for the loving care they provided to my best friend in her time of recovery. They are all to affordable and they really do love your pets as much as you do!! Would book here again hands down!!!!! Best pet spa ever!! Thank you to all the amazing and helpful staff during our time of need. You guys helped make the moving and being apart process so stress free for us, thanks again for being so accommodating, amazing, and non judging to my puppy!!!! Chrystal & Nunu 🥰

The staff here is super friendly and helpful! I never fear about them talking good care of my fur kids. I have never had an issue or anything and my dogs LOVE it here!! UPDATE: I dropped off my dogs this morning. I don't even know the name of the guy that was there... But he knew my dogs names!! And, they willingly went with him! They love it here! Also...one of my dogs (my newest one) was a rescue who had been bounced around between foster homes. Somewhere, he must have been mistreated because when we got him, he as scared of EVERYTHING! Since we have been bringing them to Old Farm, he has blossomed! He isn't scared of things like he used to be. He is friendly to most everyone (teenagers still freak him out a little) and to other dogs! Thank you, SO MUCH!! You guys are AWESOME!

I was hesitant about bringing my precious puppy to daycare because he is so little and very attached to his mommy. He absolutely LOVES coming here. It took him a little while to get adjusted but now he is so excited every day he comes in tail wagging and I leave knowing he is well taken care of. All of the ladies are so gentle and attentive to him and absolutely adore him which makes me feel relieved as I work a lot and travel a lot too. I highly recommend bringing your dogs here!

We love old farm pet resort and so do our dogs! We have two golden retrievers and the girls both love going there! We’ve done daycare and multiple days of overnight boarding and both have been wonderful. The staff really cares about your pets and they run a tight ship for dog safety. Couldn’t recommend it more. We also love that our girls can get a nice bath before we pick them up! They always come home so happy and tired, with cute little bandanas on from their baths. Love it! We will keep going back.

They immediately accommodated us without hesitation and took the weight of worrying about our dogs well-being off our shoulders.

My pup loves this place. She has a great time both in the doggie daycare and boarding. She freaks out if I leave her at home alone for a few hours, but I've boarded her for 11 days, and she was fine. You can tell that the people who work here love the animals, and connect with them personally.
