It was so great sitting for Izzie and Joe! Sky, Dax, and Del were lovely to hang out with and easy to care for. Their apartment is spacious and clean, in a central neighborhood in Portland. I wouldn’t hesitate to sit for them again!
I had an excellent experience taking care of Melinda's house and her wonderful dog, Morton. Morton is extremely calm and loving, and he loves the morning and evening walks, as well as relaxing during the day, asking only for affection, and food from time to time. He is still a very polite and calm dog on walks, and you just have to take care that he doesn't go towards people, because it scares them, although he wants affection or see what the person carries in their bags xD The apartment is very well located, close to markets, buses and metro, and very easy to walk, making it super easy to get to the main tourist spots in the country. Melinda was very helpful, gathered all the information in a virtual document, and was always available to answer questions. Certainly a great experience, which I will always remember and which I recommend!
We have just returned from house sitting for John and Janet caring for their delightful cat Jess… and can’t rate our experience high enough. Happily we had plenty of contact with Janet before our stay.. they had also kindly send Welcome pack in advance which is a good reference but had everything covered in their own instruction booklet on arrival. I also had a dental problem as we arrived which Janet was so helpful with suggesting points of contact to solve the situation especially at a festive time when appointment are difficult. Their house is quite simply a home from home. It is clean, comfy, relaxing, modern, organised and well stocked with everything anyone may require for a comfortable stay there. It is well positioned for trips out to nearby Welshpool with interesting shops and restaurants. Also Llangollen with horse drawn boats and wild rapids, hotels, and quirky cafes. There is also a convenience Spar shop nearby. Of course the star of our sit was the most sweet little cat Jess. She was an affectionate delight to care for. Independent but always ready to play, sit nearby or snuggle in front of the TV. Even if one didn’t want to explore the surrounding hills of which there are many, to stay at ‘home’ relaxing is truly a retreat experience in front of their of cosy wood fire cuddling Jess. We were sad to be leaving when our departure date arrived but so happy to have already arranged another housesitting date in 2022 for Janet and John who we already regard as friends. Looking after Claire's lovely puppy Serge was an absolute delight! It was my first sit and it was the perfect start. Claire was super accommodating - picking me up from the train station and then stopping along the way so I could grab some groceries. Serge was happy with a walk in the morning, a walk in the evening, and then the rest of the time she was satisfied with cuddles and a bit of play. Be prepared for walks at Serge's speed - lots of stopping to smell everything! But that just means you will have extra time to enjoy the scenery, taking things at a slower, more mindful pace. The surrounding area is really nice, with a large network of trails for walks, and towns within cycling (or driving) distance for day visits. I would definitely come back - Serge and Claire were both so lovely! :)
What an amazing experience in beautiful magical Malibu. Kimberly was amazing to sit for she was completely organised even had a list of things to do and places to visit. Harley was an absolute joy he is so sweet and so well behaved on walks and in the house. Such a loving doggie with a great personality. And then we have to mention the location and the house is emasculate with all that you need and more. Not to mention a literal step out the door onto the beach. Everything about this experience was amazing. Can’t wait to hopefully come back again in the future. Kimberly you were amazing your communication you personality and your welcoming smile when we met made as feel at home. Thank you for everything.
We had such a wonderful sit for Heidi! Her home is beautiful, comfortable and has breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and Olympic mountains!! Her fur babies are amazing and we quickly became attached to Hank, Frankie and Kitty Oscar. I have never laughed so much at their antics, :) we miss them already. Be ready to take extensive walks, Hank and especially Frankie are high energy dogs but behave well on leash. Heidi’s neighborhood and nearby Beach Park are great places to expend that energy and get great exercise. All three pets are complete cuddlers, prefer to be with people and are lovely companions. Heidi communicated with us well in advance of our stay and left precise, and complete instructions on the care of her home and precious pets. We would definitely sit for Heidi again and highly recommend her as a Trusted Pet Sitter host.

Sugarhouse pets was a lifesaver for me and my dog during my work contract in Salt Lake. They took my pup out for a walk and potty, administered her medications, and gave her all the pets and love. Sugarhouse Pets recently cared for my two dogs and cat for two days while I was out of town. I was pretty anxious about leaving my dogs for the first time home alone, but having the meet and greet beforehand, receiving the detailed updates about how they were doing, and what their visits were like made me feel so much better. All of the pictures I received while I was gone reassured me that my dogs were having a good time and were being well taken care of. I was expecting my dogs to be anxious when I came home due to the change in their routine, but they were just tired from playing with the sitters and happy to see me. I am super happy with the experience and Sugarhouse Pets will definitely be my go-to in the future!
I had Sugar House Pets take care of my cat when I went on a two-week vacation out of the country. They were very responsible to be there daily. They were great about following the instructions I left for my cat. They kept me notified with daily text as to what was happening with my cat. My cat is shy and won’t go to anyone. They made an effort to find her in the house and send me a pic of her every day, so I knew she’s was fine. That made me feel very good about her care. They were also very responsible with the security of my home. I recommend them to anyone who needs pet care. I will use them again. It’s a good feeling to know your pet is in good hands when your out of town.
We just picked up our two pups after our first time boarding them. We were so impressed with how well they were treated and cared for as well as how clean the facility is. We were worried about leaving them just because it was our first time but now feel so much better & are confident leaving them in Old Farm’s care. We absolutely recommend them to anyone & already have our two pups booked for upcoming holidays!
Our pups first visit there was a week long stay while we were out of state. She came back to us happy and healthy. The only thing I wish was different: there was zero communication the entire stay. We called and the update was just "oh she's great, we love her." As someone with a lot of anxiety and a senior dog, I just wish there were some updates (like, a brief daily "report card" or even a pic every few days would make me feel better). I plan to use them for short trips, but I'll probably look for a facility who has communication plans in place for longer stays.
Going to keep this review to the facts. Recently dropped our puppy off for a 9 night stay here and now we are hoping our dog wont have permanent scaring on her body. When we picked her up she was covered all over her body in a rash. She has never had any issues leading up to her stay. Throughout the 9 day stay we were never notified and in talking to the people the following day, they said she had no rash. Which means they didn't notice. The manager blames food allergies, which doesn't add up as she has been on the same food without any issues. But really doesn't address the fact that NOBODY NOTICED THE RASH OR NOTIFIED US. I've never run a doggy day care but I would think a daily inspection of the dogs would be protocol. If we had known about this we would have had someone come pick her up, to prevent it from getting any worse. I'm sure they will spin this a certain way but at the end of the day. No issues leading up to her stay, possibly permanent scaring after her stay. Also, she had happy tail bleeding and was never notified and when we had our reunion she was bleeding and again not notified. Causing blood to get all over our clothes ruining them. No remedies from the manager.
I cannot begin to explain how amazing and friendly this pet resort is. I was working 2 jobs when my puppy and I had to move. It was not so easy finding a new place and for a bit of time me and my pup were going to have to stay in separate places. Old farm not only welcomed my pit bull with open arms but they allowed me all the time I needed with her. She was injured when I checked her in and they made sure to accommodate her in any way possible. I cannot thank them enough for the loving care they provided to my best friend in her time of recovery. They are all to affordable and they really do love your pets as much as you do!! Would book here again hands down!!!!! Best pet spa ever!! Thank you to all the amazing and helpful staff during our time of need. You guys helped make the moving and being apart process so stress free for us, thanks again for being so accommodating, amazing, and non judging to my puppy!!!! Chrystal & Nunu 🥰
The staff here is super friendly and helpful! I never fear about them talking good care of my fur kids. I have never had an issue or anything and my dogs LOVE it here!! UPDATE: I dropped off my dogs this morning. I don't even know the name of the guy that was there... But he knew my dogs names!! And, they willingly went with him! They love it here! Also...one of my dogs (my newest one) was a rescue who had been bounced around between foster homes. Somewhere, he must have been mistreated because when we got him, he as scared of EVERYTHING! Since we have been bringing them to Old Farm, he has blossomed! He isn't scared of things like he used to be. He is friendly to most everyone (teenagers still freak him out a little) and to other dogs! Thank you, SO MUCH!! You guys are AWESOME!
I was hesitant about bringing my precious puppy to daycare because he is so little and very attached to his mommy. He absolutely LOVES coming here. It took him a little while to get adjusted but now he is so excited every day he comes in tail wagging and I leave knowing he is well taken care of. All of the ladies are so gentle and attentive to him and absolutely adore him which makes me feel relieved as I work a lot and travel a lot too. I highly recommend bringing your dogs here!
We love old farm pet resort and so do our dogs! We have two golden retrievers and the girls both love going there! We’ve done daycare and multiple days of overnight boarding and both have been wonderful. The staff really cares about your pets and they run a tight ship for dog safety. Couldn’t recommend it more. We also love that our girls can get a nice bath before we pick them up! They always come home so happy and tired, with cute little bandanas on from their baths. Love it! We will keep going back.

From the very first moment we reached out to them, they displayed an unwavering commitment to helping us during this challenging period. The compassion and understanding they showed us were beyond remarkable. They immediately accommodated us without hesitation and took the weight of worrying about our dogs well-being off our shoulders.
My pup loves this place. She has a great time both in the doggie daycare and boarding. She freaks out if I leave her at home alone for a few hours, but I've boarded her for 11 days, and she was fine. You can tell that the people who work here love the animals, and connect with them personally.
