Rico was a sweet, playful cat who took a few days to warm up to me but by the end he was sitting in my lap and demanding pets! Very lovely home and Jesse was great with communicating before and during the sit.
Where to begin?! Wow!!! This sit has everything a sitter could wish for, and then some. Home owners: ChaCha and Jim are incredibly kind and generous. What a warm and hearty welcome. They made us feel so at home and relaxed. Excellent communicators throughout, they were an absolute delight. Easygoing, clear, considerate. We look forward to seeing them again in the future as friends. Enthusiastic and engaging people, it is one of the main bonuses of pet sitting when you get to meet people like these. They understand exactly what makes a pet sit straightforward and enjoyable. Cannot recommend sitting for ChaCha and Jim highly enough. Home: This is a special place. It has all the usual qualities of fabulous accommodation - spotlessly clean, well equipped, incredibly comfortable. However, it has the amazing features of indoor-outdoor living and luscious gardens. Outdoor living can sound rustic but this home is not rustic - it is beautiful! A stunning kitchen and living area fully mosquito screened. You can watch the birds and the greenery, feel the refreshing breeze all whilst relaxing on the sofa watching TV! An outdoor pool with little fountains - shaded from the sun and warmed by solar. Cannot describe how gorgeous it is to hop in. There is beautiful outdoor bathroom with a huge tub, surrounded by greenery. Hot water and bath salts, a good book, and you are soaking in the tub under the moon and stars feeling exceptionally blessed. Utter bliss. The gardens are gorgeous with fruit trees, flowers, birds and gorgeous plants everywhere. We have spent time in Indonesia and this home reminded us of the tranquillity and greenery of Bali. Surrounding area: Pescadero and Todos Santos are beautiful places to spend time. Beaches, oasis greenery and palm trees, friendly people, lovely food, local markets, coffee shops, craft beer, and the list goes on. You will not miss anything during your stay here. Great fun to explore. Watch the sunset from the beach a five minute walk from ChaCha and Jim’s home, or from the decked cabin upstairs at theirs. We have to admit, though, we preferred to stay home in amongst the beautiful plants and tranquility, and enjoy the company of Dutch and Nebula! Most importantly - the pets!: These two dogs are utterly gorgeous. Dutch the Pug and Nebula the Rottweiler. We miss them already. Impeccable manners (although Dutch does love to peek at you whilst in the bathroom haha), beautifully well trained and endless fun. Utter softies, Nebbie’s eyes will melt you. There are absolutely zero behavioral or health issues of any kind, so sitters can feel completely comfortable and relaxed looking fitter these two. Dutch is hilarious, puffing his little chest out whilst standing guard over his people (you’ll proudly become “his people” within minutes) and his home. Nebbie is patient, eager to please and gentle. She is the best fun in the pool, and excellent at relaxing. Looking after dogs shouldn’t necessarily be “easy” to be enjoyable, but these pups are the epitome of “easy”. Relaxed, mannerly, positive, good eaters, good sleepers and good toileters. Zero stress, much enjoyment. A complete pleasure to spend time with.
A lovely and easy sit in a quiet area. I mostly communicated with Nicola and met John and one of their daughters briefly. Everyone was kind and easy going. Oscar was so chill and relaxing to be around. He let me cuddle him when I wanted, wasn't into playing too much but would come sit with me in the garden when the weather permitted it. He slept a lot or was outside on some adventure while I worked. It's a cozy and comfy home and had everything I needed. Would recommend to anyone, so long as you don't mind being a way of the city centre. I loved it. Thank you for lettingme take care of Oscar and your home. 😻
On 3th December I was celebrating my birthday. So, that experience was a kind of gift to me. Because Janes was very friendly and I could feel at home in his house. Also, Bruno was a dog amazing and funny. We had a huge connection. I will miss him... he was always following me. So, I loved his company at home and by walking in the neighborhood. In addition, Rosievelle is a great suburb area surrounded by trees, forests, and many kinds of birds, and I could see a lizard. Finally, of course, I really recommend to have a experience in Jane's house as a home pet sitter of Bruno.
We had an amazing time taking care of Calpurnia and Simon. They are absolutely lovely and well behaved. Also, Elizabeth and Josh were great hosts. The communication was easy, and they prepared everything for our arrival. Their home is very comfortable and well-located. The neighborhood is nice, with parks, stores, and convenient transportation options nearby. But, the best part was spending time with Calpurnia and Simon. We loved walking Simon and playing with both of them. We highly recommend this sit to anyone.
