Carly was amazing with our animals from the first moment she met them. This was our longest trip yet and we came home to 5 happy cats and 3 happy dogs! She sent us pictures and videos during our month away. We came home to a clean house and pool. After having a terrible experience with our first couple from this site, she was on the other end of the spectrum. Very sweet and mature individual. We are extremely happy with her sit.

Deborah took wonderful care of our dog Rusty. When we came home, it was easy to see how comfortable they were together. There were several weather related situations which required Deborah to problem solve and adapt. She proved to be resilient and cheerful, even grateful for the heavy snow. She was tidy and thoughtful in her use of our spaces. I recommend her without reservation to care for pets in your home.

Kelsie was very communicative and reliable during our recent vacation. She left the house very tidy and took good care of our two senior dogs (one of which requires daily medication). We felt at ease knowing our home and pups were in good hands.

Lauren sat for Deegan for twelve nights. His longest sit. He and Lauren did great. Lauren had to put up with Deegan being very restless for a few days as we had a bear family hanging around the neighborhood. Lauren watered my new plantings ( over 90 plants) as it was very hot in Blowing Rock and we had very little rain during her stay. We communicated frequently as needed. The house was just as I left it.

We didn't want Caroline to leave!! She instantly became a family member to us, our animals were obsessed with her, she played and treated them probably more lovingly than we do honestly haha, and she kept the house perfectly clean!! It was lovely to see her make herself at home, she even stayed a few days with us once we were back, and we would trust her and welcome her back anytime!!

It was wonderful having Martha stay with Charly! Charly was on several meds during this dog sit and one required putting some eye gel in one of his eyes which Martha did with no issues. My place was immaculate upon my return. I appreciated the updates sent by Martha. It was great comfort knowing Charly was in good hands while I was gone. Thank you again!

Betty was terrific! She was great with our pets and very communicative. Our house was in perfect condition when we returned, and our pets were happy as could be. We highly recommend Betty and hope she'll come back for another sit!!

Rob & Lisa took great care of Otis. They regularly took him for walks in his stroller and gave him lots of attention. Both were very easy to talk with about the care of my house and Otis. They left my house clean and well kept. Thanks to both for their good care. It was a tough time here with paving being completed on our roads and driveways and they took it in stride. Rob helped me with a situation that I needed help with way beyond the normal needs of both my cat and house. All my plants inside and out looked well watered upon my return as well.

We had a wonderful time with Thor and Loki at Anna’s place! 
Both cats were so lovely and sweet once they got used to us (only took a few hours), with their own quirks of personality (Loki is hilariously food motivated, while Thor loves a snack but also gazing out of the window thoughtfully), and they were very easy to look after. 

Anna was a great host, and made us feel very at home! Her place is in a great location with really friendly neighbours, and we had everything we needed 😊

We had a lovely time with this house sit. Both Alex’s hosted us for a few days to get used to how everything worked and treated us really well! The dogs were very sweet and easy to look after. Also their home is amazing and in a great location to go out and explore. Will sit again!

One of the many things I love about house sitting in the UK is the awesome historical homes.  The Potato Barn  delivered, with its beautiful original beams and sympathic yet functional conversion and layout. The garden is private, sunny and lovely to relax in. 

Whilst the location has a rural feel,  surrounded by farmland and woods, you still have plenty of pubs, restaurants and amenities in close proximity, and it is easy to get into London. 

Lotti and  Chester are very sweet, low maintenance and  easy to walk, both on and off lead.  There were plenty of paths to enjoy where the dogs can roam free. 

Catherine was a relaxed, welcoming and thoughtful host and even left lovely home baked cookies for me to enjoy.
