Irene and Henry are far and away the best house/dog sitters I’ve ever had. Fascinating to talk to, both possess skill sets that nicely integrate into their sit. Irene is a nurse. Henry handles dogs very well and has good grasp of household and outdoor issues. Irene and Henry frequently communicated with me throughout the sit. Pictures usually accompanied these communiques. The sit became complicated when my boy dog became aggressive with my girl dog. Irene and Henry immediately went into action, separating the boy dog when necessary. Irene also recommended a product to reduce this behavior, went out and bought it and began its immediate use. They reported success with it. Irene and Henry walked the dogs faithfully, usually twice a day. All in all, Irene and Henry were extremely responsible, very thorough and beyond friendly (they even had my next door neighbor for dinner). I recommend Irene and Henry with great enthusiasm.
Let me just say that I'm completely grateful to Sapphira for helping me when I was in the ultimate bind. The original sitter canceled with less than a 48 hour notice. Sapphira took very good care of my pets and gave regular updates. I came back to a clean apt. There were a couple of things that I had to point out to Sapphira that I felt she should have known as a pet sitter, but overall, I was pleased with her care of Sophie and Teddy. Sapphira left a couple of hours earlier than what we agreed, but she did have to prep for a sit the next day. She did tell me a couple of hours before she left my place. It would have been nice if she told me at least the day before, so I could have made arrangements. I wasn't landing until very late. But overall, I think Sapphira was a great sitter. I have reimbursed her for the majority of the parking costs as a thank you. Thanks again for everything, Sapphira!
It was a pleasure to have Rosemary as our sitter. The house was cleaner when we came back than when we left! The kitties were well cared for and we got regular updates while we were gone. It was nice to chat a bit longer after we came back. We would definitely ask Rosemary to be our sitter gain.
