This was a first time house sit for me and it was a wonderful experience. Fiona was extremely welcoming, kind and thoughtful. She provided clear and detailed information about her home and dog Hugo, as well as lots of ideas for places to visit. As I arrived before she left early the next day, she took me for a walk to show me the area and we had a lovely meal together. The house is absolutely beautiful and in a great location within walking distance of the city centre. There’s lots to do and see in Edinburgh. Two year old Hugo is completely adorable, full of bounce and accepting of any love and play coming his way. He loves the beach and running in the waves for sticks and stones. We also enjoyed our daily walks in The Meadows nearby and water hose play in the back garden. He really is a ‘huggable Hugo’ - a lovely dog with a loving and gentle personality. I would totally recommend this house sit for anyone lucky enough to be accepted. Many many thanks Fiona.
We Absolutely loved pet and house sitting for Sibel and Zachary. Disco and Tango are so sweet, playful, and loving and will make you feel right at home. Once the cats warmed up to us we got to really enjoy their company as well. Their house is beautiful and the view amazing. Sibel and Zachary were super accommodating to our travels and their hospitality made us feel like we were old friends.
This was a wonderful house/pet sit. All 3 cats were lovely in their own way and taking care of them was a breeze. I received all the instructions required (including an in person house tour) and Diana was always just a message away if I needed to clarify anything. I didn't need to clarify much, though, as everything was pretty straightforward. Here I encountered a home away from home and Merlin and Muggins made sure to give me lots of attention and purring therapy, even Margaret joined from time to time, although she prefers to observe from a distance. I would definitely do this sit again.
This was another fabulous sit with beautiful pets. Suki is the perfect dog. Chilled, calm and relaxed when a home and enthusiastic and fun to go out walking with. The cats Bella and Dottie are also very chilled and just spend their time relaxing around the house. The well behaved calm animals made it a very easy and relaxed sit. Lawerence gave good clear instructions and provided a detailed well thought out house manual. An all round great sit.
This was the housesit of dreams and I really enjoyed every single minute of it - and was very sad when the moment of goodbye came. Although I have not met Sina and Ben, they left their home for me spotless and with two lovely girls giving me super warm welcome. Sitka is the lady of the house - so silent and calm you have to be sure she is still in the house during the whole day. Remy is the typhoon of the house :-) Her energy is incredible, her loving attitude and dedication and passion to explore all the new things is amazing. They are complementing each other perfectly. And together we had a lot of fun, we took longer walks and enjoyed every single moment - whether on the walk, or sitting together at the courtyard. Both of them are amazing. House of Sina and Ben is even more what you could ever wished for. Nice, tidy and one immediately feels like at home. Sina, Ben, Sitka and Remy - it was pleasure to housesit for you and I hope if there is an opportunity again, I will be able to come. I miss you all :-)
Phil and I had a wonderful few days staying at Jaye’s amazing modern home . The weather was extremely hot , reaching 34 degrees ! so we abandoned our hiking plans, walking Biscuit during the evening and spent the days reading and lounging by the fabulous pool. Biscuit was in our sight at all times, he just hung out with us and appeared to enjoy our company . Biscuit is a very well behaved, laid back, loving and fun dog who just loves being cuddled. He walked well on a lead, stayed close to us when off the lead and always came when called. We strolled to the local pub on the coolest evening and Biscuit behaved impeccably whilst we enjoyed a quick pint Biscuit settled well at night and slept outside our bedroom door. He was a delight to look after . Pod, the house rabbit, bounced around the kitchen and enjoyed a cuddle. Pod has a good relationship with Biscuit and they share their space beautifully . Communication with Jaye was good throughout. We met Sarah the housekeeper on arrival and everything was explained well, which enabled us to relax and enjoy the pets and house . We would love to look after Biscuit and Pod again. We would like to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside more and take Biscuit on longer walks when the weather is cooler .
