Karolyne and Eddie are two of the kindest humans I have ever sat for or possibly even met... their energy is pure gold!! They made me feel so at home and appreciated and were a joy to communicate with. Lyra and Peso are such sweet and well behaved dogs, I had so much fun walking in the neighborhoood with them and enjoying their company. Not even to mention how homey and comfy their home was. I would be elated at the chance to sit here again!
We had an absolutely wonderful time with Sparkie, the dogs and the chickens at Lucinda's absolutely gorgeous home. Lucinda is very organised and conscientious with the sits. The practical & comprehensive information she shared up front meant we were able to enjoy the experience with very little adjustment time. It was my first house sit in a long time with 3 dogs (we had Lucinda's mum's little guy as well) and it was great. There are plenty of lovely walks within 15mins drive, all with either stunning views or interesting canal and forest scenery. We tend to work while on house sits, and thoroughly enjoyed having so much space to run around the back garden and meadow with the dogs to break up the day for us all. The heated outdoor pool is pretty special, even more so with Mabel running around enjoying the water! We highly recommend a sit at Lucinda's and hope to visit Moley, Mabel, Sparkie & the chickens again.
We had a lovely sit with Staffie/Pit, Zoey, in beautiful Siracusa, Sicily. Shauna was a delightful host who made us feel very welcome in her home and centrally-located, vibrant, neighbourhood. Zoey was a sweet pup ~ very easy to care for, very well trained to join us on walks around the area, and extremely amusing company for our afternoons reading, or our evenings at home cooking. Before heading off on holiday, Shauna provided lots of detail about Zoey’s routine and habits. We felt very well equipped to ensure that Zoey had plenty of her usual fun during the sit. Shauna, also, shared wonderful insights into Sicilian culture and cuisine, as well as recommendations for fun things to do in Siracusa & nearby Ortigia. This was a gem of a sit that we enjoyed immensely. We feel so grateful to have met both Shauna & Zoey, and would highly recommend this fabulous Siracusa sit.
Nicole was a fantastic host. The place is an absolute haven, and I haven't felt so relaxed in a long time. Sissy is the sweetest cat, and will definitely cuddle with you in bed after a day or two. Overall my favorite place I have stayed so far.
Beautiful home with a great view. Pets were very well behaved and cuddly, especially the dogs. (Missing George and Estelle licks already!) Plenty of hiking and rock climbing nearby. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking and the grocery store is only a short drive down the mountain. Zach is very communicative and easy to work with. Overall a fantastic experience!
We loved our sit with Tucker! Jordan and Hanna were amazing hosts and provided everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay. Their home is spacious, clean, and beautiful; the deck and backyard were such cool spots to have coffee or spend time with Tucker playing fetch! Their home is in a really beautiful and walkable neighborhood; we didn’t need to rent a car during our visit and we had everything we within a few blocks. Our walks around the neighborhood were a highlight of our day as there was always a cool house or business that we hadn’t seen before. Tucker is THE BEST DOG. Ever. He is so polite and well trained; our first time giving him a treat we were shocked how many tricks he knew! Our walks with him were very relaxing - Tucker loved sniffing around and he never had any issues with people, pulling, or other dogs. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting on the couch with him snuggled up between us. He is a gentlemen and would wait for us to invite him onto the couch! We would love to come back and spend time with Tucker anytime and we miss him already!!

Sals pals is the best there is. They have been taking excellent care of my 6 month old bull terrier since 8 weeks with daily trips to the park. What I love is I get an update everyday how Petey was at the park and they never skip a beat! If I could give 10 stars I would. Sal cares about his clients and truly cares about the dogs/pets he handles. All of his employees as well. I personally deal with Suzie who goes above and beyond for my puppy she’s amazing. Sal's Pals is an excellent dog walking service! Sal and Susie are reliable, responsible and very flexible. They love the dogs and the dogs clearly love them. My favorite part is that instead of leaving you a written note with your dogs "status report", they take a few photos of your dog while out on their walk, then send you those photos along with the daily update. It's always a happy text mid-day.

Mollie loves her visits at Dogtopia and always wags her tail once she hears she is going to see her “friends”! My husband and I are impressed with how clean the facility is and how kind and helpful the workers are there. We love the feature of being able to see her play during the day on the app. She boards there and we know when we are away she is well taken care of. Truly a remarkable dog day care with great people working there. There is also theme days throughout the month and we love getting her photos back that are taken. Unfortunately we won’t be going as frequently due to the distance and traffic that adds up in the area, but we are so grateful we found this day care where we don’t have to worry about mollie spending her day there. We absolutely love and appreciate the staff and the services they provided our Princess Racks! Immediately over the phone I felt their genuine service and care. Not to mention the minute we arrived how they embraced us. The staff at the Union location is very friendly, fun, educated and super sweet. Bring your fur baby there like yesterday!! Warning ⛔️ DO NOT RECOMMEND ⚠️ My recent experience on March 1, 2024 at Dogtopia Union was extremely traumatizing and upsetting to say the least! Despite my initial trust in their services, a serious incident occurred while my 3-year-old dog Biggie Smalls was in their (Dogtopia Union) care. The description of the incident provided to me, I was at work, was misleading. They minimized the severity of the situation as a mere "nip" and "scratch", when in reality, it was a bite from an aggressive dog that resulted in significant injury to my baby boy. I rushed out of work to only discover it required emergency medical attention 😭 This negligence led to my innocent dog requiring an emergency vet visit, sedation, sutures, medications, mentally traumatizing my dog resulting in a hefty vet bill of $1300+, calling out of work to care for him. Thank God he is alive and currently on a long recovery. The fact that aggressive dogs were allowed to be a part of their program, leading to such a traumatic outcome, is unacceptable! Despite my attempts to address the issue with Dogtopia Union and request a refund for all payments made towards reimbursement for the emergency veterinary expenses, I have received NO response OR acknowledgment of the situation. The lack of communication and resolution is deeply concerning. It is crucial for establishments like Dogtopia Union to prioritize the safety and well-being of the dogs in their care, and this experience has left us deeply distressed. I urge pet owners to exercise caution when considering Dogtopia Union for pet care , as my experience highlights serious concerns about their negligence and lack of accountability.
Dogtopia of Union is extremely unsanitary! My dog came home wreaking of urine. I asked where they walk them and was told they go to the bathroom in the room where they play. I immediately canceled our membership, but continued to be charged for three weeks. I called to receive a refund for the overcharge and was told I would get one, but never did, despite calling multiple times.
Pet Parents- Beware !!! Came in on saturday 11/9/24, 3pm -There was a young man & woman at the counter. No one greeted me as I came in, as if I was bothering them. I said hello twice, & explained I was there for a 3p appt., the young man I believe his name was "anthony cringed when he saw my beautiful Fur baby as if dogs in general bothered him, He made us both feel very uncomfortable, anyone working at a fun dog facility - should absolutely love dogs? -so why is he working there? All we did was literally walk in, my Fur baby was calm, happy, wagging his tail. Female told me her name, Kellon, she became nicer after I said hello three times. Overall- Very unfriendly / very unwelcoming. --My fur baby passed the temperament test, however, having been so unwelcomed, so uncomfortable i don't feel safe leaving my fur baby here in the future. I will not be coming back. 👎
Staff are friendly and helpful. Maya enjoys going to daycare. The hours are very accommodating to a working mom who doesn’t always get to leave work at 5pm. The pricing is fair and reasonable. The staff have never been rude and seem to love their job. I can understand that some days they are busy or that staff is short and it may be a longer wait for your dog. The reality is this is happening in every industry right now. Maya seems happy and never wants to leave so I am taking her cue that this is a good place. Since she started I have seen her progress. She had her first dog park visit recently and did very well with the other dogs.
I really like the Dogtopia of Union. The staff there is super friendly and you can see and feel that everyone that works there is an animal lover. Our dog has so much fun there that he is super chill and tired after a full day of play at Dogtopia.
We have been bringing our dog to Dogtopia for daycare and boarding for over a year and we all absolutely love it! The staff is exceptionally friendly and truly cares about the well-being of the dogs. Since Jill came on to manage the location, there have been nonstop events, great communication, and the operation couldn’t be smoother. We have used their grooming services and always love the way Tucker looks. We recommend Dogtopia wholeheartedly!
Took my pup here for the first time yesterday. Not only did he love it, but as his owners, we did as well! I’m a first time dog owner and I work from home, so Lennox is literally ALWAYS by my side. I knew he needed socializing, but I was so anxious about leaving him with strangers. My concerns were relieved IMMEDIATELY upon walking through the door. After he passed the Meet & Greet, he was invited to stay a couple hours until closing. I watched on the webcam most of the time, and he was having a blast! Staff is amazing at making both dogs and humans feel comfortable and secure. The webcams are a great feature for anxious owners! Safe to say, our family will have a long-term relationship with Dogtopia.
My baby girl had the best stay at House of Dogs. Melanie was so good with Frankie, who needs a little extra love because she’s blind. Since Frankie has trouble on a leash it was really nice that she had a large fenced in yard to roam at her own pace. Thank you House of Dogs, Frankie will be back for play time soon!
House of Dogs is an amazing place to take care of your dog. Our 11 year old cockapoo Teddy is so well taken care of and always runs to see Irma. Teddy is so clean when we pick him up. In our 3 years of using House of Dogs we have never ever had a single issue. I highly recommend House of Dogs and they exceed the five star rating.
Kevin has been great with my dog, Bear. Bear has a lot of anxiety and he seems to feel so calm and happy around Kevin. Overall, I have seen Kevin interact with so many dogs of different breeds and sizes. He provides so much care and love to every dog. Ultimately super reliable and trustworthy!
Absolutely stellar experience with House of Dogs! From the moment we dropped off our dog Bear, we knew he was in the best hands. The family is incredibly attentive, caring, and knowledgeable about all things canine. The space is top-notch, with a big fenced backyard, providing plenty of space for dogs to play, socialize, and rest comfortably. They allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing our pup was having just as much fun. We cannot recommend House of Dogs enough – five stars all the way!
The House of Dogs is unmatched! Irma and Melanie go above and beyond my expectations as pet sitters. Fournette is a very needy, high maintenance pup who requires lots of love and attention. It alleviates a lot of stress on my end knowing he has a safe, clean, caring environment to stay while I am away. Wouldn’t leave my child with anyone else!
Irma & Melanie were so accommodating and professional! When I picked up Ringo after a 2 week stay, he was all set to retire at the House of Dogs! He was so comfy in his second home. Will definitely come back again.

Being cautious about who looks after my older Brussels Griffon, Pancho, is a priority for me. But after meeting Irma and Melanie at the initial meet and greet, I was instantly reassured. Their thoughtful and caring approach won me over. Pancho, being an older pup, needs extra attention, and they delivered flawlessly. I trust them with Pancho, and I highly recommend their services!
House of Dogs should be your go-to dog boarding business in the North Jersey area! They are an excellent, reputable, and a reliable boarding company. Have left my baby with them multiple times and will always choose them! They have a big, fenced in backyard for the pups and make sure they feel like they’re just at home.
We had to leave Max for 2 weeks and I couldn’t have picked someone better than Irma to take care of him. Max is a high energy dog and their big fenced yard gave him plenty of room to run around with the others. I highly recommend House of Dogs

I found Nina & Jeff after moving to the area a few months ago to walk my 3 year old cavapoo. He is shy and anxious with new people and takes a while to warm up. Nina was very patient and loving with him and he is now so excited to see her and looks forward to their walks. I have not used their boarding services yet but trust them with my fur baby and definitely would in the future.
My dog loves Nina and her home almost as much as his own family and home (and this is coming from someone who is basically obsessed with their dog). Nina and her husband, Jeff, are so loving and attentive and I trust them implicitly with him. I know that when he is with them, I have nothing to worry about and he is in the best possible care. I’m so grateful to have them down the street from me and couldn’t possibly recommend them more strongly. They are THE BEST!
This is the first time I have had my dog taken care of while we were away with someone other than family and I honestly could not have found a better person than Nina!! Leo connected with her the minute she walked in the door and Nina took care of him just like family. I will definitely be using Nina’s Pooch and Kitty Pet Care again!!!
Nina is the absolute best. I feel so comfortable leaving my senior dog with her. He is a rescue and gets nervous but loves going to Nina’s. She has an amazing backyard for the dogs to go out in and really cares about them. I love getting pictures of him having fun when I leave him for overnights! Nina and Jeff are the only peope I trust with my dog Max, who is more like a son to me. Knowing that he's taken care of like I would take care of him makes every trip away from home relaxing. Nina and her husband Jeff are the dynamic duo. We started having them take care of our Cockapoo Bailey when he was a puppy. He absolutely loved spending time with them and they have taken care of him overnight multiple times and almost every day. They are extremely trustworthy and Bailey feels like he has a second home. We are extreme dog lovers and think the world of Nina and Jeff.
I am so happy that I found a reliable cat sitter in Westfield! We just moved to the area and didn't know anyone who could come feed our cat when went away for the week. I am so relieved to have found Nina and Jeff. They are so friendly and responsible. They came over and had an introductory meeting so everyone felt comfortable before we left. Our cat looked content and well-taken care of when we got back from our trip. Will definitely be using them again!
I am so glad I found Nina's Pooch and Kitty Care! My cat was SO much happier at home, being taken care of by Nina and Jeff. They did an excellent job, coming in twice a day to feed and check up on her. I don't plan on using a kennel again, as long as I have Nina and Jeff!
I have been using Nina for over 2 years now and am so thankful I found her. She and Jeff take such good care of my pup Remley so I never worry about leaving him in their care. Remley is 8 yrs old and loves spending time with them and Benji....in fact he seems a bit disappointed when I show up to take him home : ). Highly recommend!
Jen was amazing with my Poppa. She fed him and gave him a blanket to sleep with (even though he didn’t). She also updated me throughout the day with the cutest pictures and videos of my dog which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be booking with her again
Jen was very helpful through out the entire process with taking car of my dog Milo. She provided me with video and pictures of Milo to assure me that he is okay and in good hands!! That was a big plus for me since Milo is a big part of our family. I would highly recommend her to friends and family. I will be using her in the future again
Jen groomed both of my 2 year-old Cane Corsos today… they are fairly high energy and she was alone… I was a bit anxious over it but knowing she takes care of my best friend’s dog, I chilled out… and it was ALL worth it because my babies were good and came out of her place calm and clean and nails clipped and that is something that is NOT easy to do! I’d go back a million times over! My two are camera shy but I have pics of them not from today… Caspia is on the left and Roman is on the right ♥️♥️
I reached out to Jen’s Pet Care to have someone check in on our cat. Jen stopped by twice a day to change litter, fill the water bowl, and give insulin shots twice per day. She sent me pics of our cat each time she visited which was really nice. I highly recommend her and plan to use her again around Christmas time.

Jen is great! She’ll update you with pictures, she’s very responsive and patient when it comes to any questions you have, my 135 pound Rottweiler Phoenix did great with her and he’s not normally good with strangers. I left him with her overnight as a last minute plan and she thankfully accommodated for me when it came to drop off/pick up times. I’m so glad I gave her services a chance, & I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again :)

Words cant express how much we love Hounds Town! Our pup uses both their daycare services & boarding and we could not have asked for better care. Our dog is always excited as we drive up because he knows it’s time to play with his friends. We love how they post photos on the FB group, but wish there was a camera for the busy days when FB photos aren’t posted until afternoon. Aside from that, we highly recommend them for all of your pups needs.
I can’t say enough good things about Hounds Town Metuchen! I recently brought my energetic German Shepherd here, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they clearly love dogs, which gave me so much confidence leaving my pup in their care. My dog came home happy, tired, and socialized, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The facility is clean, spacious, and perfect for dogs to play and have a great time. I love that they keep me updated throughout the day with pictures and messages, so I know my German Shepherd is having fun. It’s a relief to know I can trust Hounds Town with my dog, and I’ll definitely be bringing him back. Highly recommend!
We love Hounds Town! My ladies always are so well taken care of when they go away to “camp” here. Although they are a bit shy they always seem to warm up and play with their friends. The team always is so helpful and friendly, you can really tell they love their jobs and love the pups they are caring for. I trust Hounds Town with my ladies 100% and wouldn’t take them anywhere else! Thank you Hounds Town for all you do!
The staff is wonderful with our dog; takes care of his twice-a-day eye drops and has been able to accommodate us last minute overnight several times. He seems comfortable being dropped off now, which is telling that he feels safe there.

I would highly recommend Hounds Town-Metuchen. I was skeptical about taking my dog, Vicky, to a daycare especially because she is usually discriminated due to her breed (Staffy). However, Vicky was welcomed with open arms and care. I can’t say “daycare” around Vicky because she gets super excited. She loves going to daycare and play with her paw friends. Thank you Hounds Town!!
My two cavapoos really love to go to Hounds Town. Every time even our car pull in the street, they got so excited. And Hounds Town offers a low price exit bath to them. We just bring my sweet and clean puppies home without any struggle. Thank God i found this place.
Hounds Town is a great place for both day care and boarding. All employees are friendly and truly care about your dog. Love how they post so many pictures throughout the day in their Facebook page. My Bernie always has a great time there.
I brought my dog Benji to houndstown metuchen for daycare and he had a fantastic time! I love being apart of the HT metuchen facebook group, it sets me at ease being able to see my pup having a great time throughout the day! After arriving at home my pup scarfed down his dinner(as usual) and proceeded to have what I like the call the best nap of his life! He was happy and exhausted from all his play! Now whenever we pull up to houndstown he is jumping, barking and wagging his tail to go inside. He clearly loves the staff and the staff clearly loves him. It is hard to find a doggie daycare center that I trust and I can say I 100% trust houndstown with my furry baby!
This is Brue second daycare and I absolutely love it ! They are so happy to see Brue when they walk in and you can tell he’s very comfortable . They are responsive and most are nice staff .My only feedback would be that it would be nice to receive more pictures from his time there . Rather than that, no complaints and a great place to bring your dog for daycare !
Can’t say enough about the staff. Always greeted with a smile. You can see how much they care about the work they do. And from my dog, Kya’s perspective, she can’t contain how excited she is every single time she goes. It is very much appreciated the level of service and care provided by everyone that works there! Thank you K9 for providing a clean, safe, well run and fun environment for my dog to come to.
I highly recommend K9 Resort! Absolutely immaculate and fur baby centered. My Wheaton, Max, boarded there for 25 days, as I had to be 3000+ miles away for over 2 weeks. I received updates and pictures of Max on a routine basis, which put my mind at ease. He had plenty of new playmates, staff that went above snd beyond giving him lots of love snd attention. Than you Cooper for making this stay happen! Thank you Brian, Julie, Sienna, Donna, Bridget and all of the staff whose names I can’t remember. Max sends lots of hugs and kisses to his 2nd family!
Such a great experience all around! My husband and I attended the pet CPR and First Aid seminar that Brian conducted a few weeks back. He gave us a full tour of the facility and was extremely informative and knowledgeable. We were so impressed and knew we would feel very comfortable leaving our Frenchie Monty with the K9 staff. We dropped him off this weekend for his first daycare and overnight stay. The entire staff was so helpful and welcoming. Monty came home completely wiped from all of the play time and excitement he had over the weekend !
We have been using K9 for boarding a couple of times and our dog has been excited to go back. We truly appreciate how responsive K9 resorts has been providing updates and pictures, when requested; specially Brian! He has been such a pleasure to work with and has been a key contact to make us feel comfortable by providing us with updates. We 100% recommend and will bring our dog back.
K9 resorts is the best doggy daycare and resort in NJ for doggy day care and doggy boarding. My Husky boy started going to K9 in 2015, that’s for 9 years now and they treat him like their own baby. Present facility manager Brian Remo is very compassionate and dynamic and his efficient team members include Jon, Kelly, Julie, David, Hannah, Tiffany (sorry if I missed any names), all are the best. They also celebrate birthdays of each of our pets and send us pics. K9 resorts is the best.
This place exceeded my expectations! The staff were all incredibly friendly and the facility is world class. I was out of town for 3 weeks and it was a huge relief to know that my dog was in good hands and able to enjoy the luxurious location and all the loving people working there. Will bring her back in a heartbeat when I need to be out of town again.
Cookie loves K9 Resorts! She comes home exhausted after a fun day of play and even comes home smelling delicious! This facility is beautiful, clean, and smells amazing. I do not feel guilty leaving her at the resort for a day or a long weekend because I know she is safe, having fun, and is receiving royal treatment. It warms my heart to see all the workers fawn over her as she arrives and leaves.
K9 is the best! My dog was staying with my in-laws nearby and she went to play for two days here and had a fabulous time. I always feel great about dropping her off at a K9 resort. The staff called me with an update on her and she had an absolute blast. It was also super perfect with the heat wave to know she got plenty of exercise and fun while being safe indoors.
We have been using K9 resorts in Fanwood for several years now and always had a positive experience. That said, it was our most recent experience that is causing me to write this review (which I rarely, if ever do). We were on vacation out of the country and received a call from the team there that our dog was unable to urinate. They took her to an emergency VET and stayed with her while she received care. When she was well enough to return, they brought her back to their hotel, kept close eyes on her and kept us updated each day. It is not that hard to provide solid care when times are easy and your pet is well; it is when times are challenging, and a difficult situation presents itself, that you really see the inner workings of an organization and its staff. I cannot say enough how appreciative and happy we are that K9 Resorts cared for our dog the way they did as she is now home and healthy. I also just want to say that K9 resorts does not know, nor did they solicit this review — we felt we had to celebrate their incredible care. 10 STARS
We have a 5yr old 20lb mixed breed with a strong personality. Barker Lounge takes great care of her and we are grateful to have them!
My dog always has an amazing time at The Barker Lounge! She can’t wait to get out of the car to play with her friends and have wonderful sleepovers. The staff is beyond amazing. The owners are very hands on and quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. My dog (and I do too) loves the party days like field day, Christmas pj day, etc. I also really love the bark back! Love getting pics and updates.
The Barker Lounge took great care of my Penny while I was away for about 9 days. I was very nervous but was quickly reassured on how she was in great hands. I got frequent updates which included pictures and detailed messages. Penny was absolutely pooped for about 1 week after I picked her up. She loves the barker lounge and so do I !!! Thank you guys.
Can't rave enough about the care that my dog (a very energetic puppy/now dog) has received from the Barker Lounge. The staff, especially Erin, goes above and beyond, to make it the dogs' home away from home. My dog is excited when we even mention that he is going and the staff accommodates all of the dogs' differing needs. The level of creativity of events for both dogs and their owners including Valentine's Day overnights, first-day of school pictures, birthday celebrations and field day is top-notch. Highly recommend.
Boarded our dog here for the first time and couldn’t be more pleased. It was an adjustment for Happy and we are so grateful for the staff working with him to get comfortable. Everyone genuinely cares about the dogs and their well-being, in addition to being highly knowledgeable.
My dog Jaxon has been going to the Barker Lounge in Cranford for over 10 years and it's like his 2nd home! The staff absolutely love him and he loves them. The only place I would entrust with my baby!
I love this daycare highly recommended. Large space, lots of play areas, large staff that you can see love the dogs. My dog pulls to go in and doesn't want to leave. My only criticism/request would be they offer a half day but the hours are not flexible. Another daycare I have used offers 4 hours half day at any time. Here the half day is picking up before noon. A little flexibility like 900am to 100pm would be better, or 4 hours half day anytime. I really don't need the daycare, I take my dog so she can play, and 4 hours is plenty time, a full day is to long.
I have been sending my dog here for a few years for boarding services. She doesn’t go that often, but when she does, she LOVES it and we always get great feedback. This time around, I opted for a nail trim… something that is very hard for her to endure. Her nails were trimmed very well and only cost $10. They look great! I continue to recommend this place!!!
Our dog loves it! Place is clean, staff is great! Dog is always well cared for and usually exhausted after her stay. She gets excited at the mention of the Barker Lounge.

We have been Silver Hound clients for 7 years for both dog walking and cat siting, and couldn't recommend them enough! They are the absolute best! They carefully vet the people they employ to make sure that they're trustworthy and caring. They are quick to respond to any questions or service requests. They take care of our pets like they are their own. I never worry about my pets when Silver Hound is caring for them. You won't find a better team!
We’ve worked with Silver Hound for over two years and could not have better things to say. They are very communicative with daily walk updates and quickly respond to any questions. I also trust all the walkers who often are coming to our home when we are at work. They’re very good to our pup and respectful of our home. Silver hound team was very thoughtful, thorough, and passionate when caring for my cat who also needed extra attention because of her love for outside adventures. They nailed her care despite added challenges, my kitty was doing well then I was away.

Silver hound is extremely professional and reliable! It is such a relief to trust my dog is being cared for on days I have to commute. Zue is very organized and great at communicating, and their online booking and notification system is really useful and efficient once you get the hang of it. Would definitely recommend Silver Hound to anyone in the area.
Excellent care, attention to detail, and communication about visits! I have been using Silver Hound cat sitting services for many years. I feel at ease when I have to go out of town knowing Zue and O'Brian are taking care of my girls. I would not be able to go on vacation without Silver Hound! Highly recommend their pet services.
Zue and the crew at Silver Hound are really thorough, thoughtful, and great to work with. It is such a nice feeling to come home to pets that you know have been cared for and are doing great. Good communication, nice people, just the best experience.
Google only allowed me to give them 5 stars. But if I had to be honest their service, attention, and love for our family and our fur-baby is truly invaluable. We have been entrusting Zue and O'Brian with our cat Carrie for over 4 years now and consider them members of our family. The level of expertise and commitment they have is evident in the way they care for your furry babies. I know when they watch over Carrie that they love and care for her as if she were their own. One time when we were away our cat got a little sick and Zue and O'Brian went out of their way to make multiple visits to our house on the same day to make sure she was not alone and doing ok. I will always remember that because it further solidified to me that they are not just a business. To further prove their selflessness, during the pandemic while their business was being adversely affected, they offered free dog walks for the elderly population to ensure those at risk did not have to be outside. In short, they are the most good-hearted people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. If you and your pets are lucky enough to live in the areas they service, not only do they come highly recommended, they come pet approved too! Our Carrie always looks forward to spending time with her two favorite people!
They do not accommodate clients’ needs. They refused me service because I only needed walks 3 times a week instead of 5. It doesn’t say this anywhere on their site. I work from home 2 days a week and will not pay to have someone walk my dog while I am home. Very disappointing, as they are one of the only dog walking services in my area. They have left me with no way to get my dog out during the day. Edit: Too bad they felt the need to lie in their response to my post. I've added a screenshot of their email saying they do not provide walks for 3 days a week, and that they are "specializing in midday walks every day Monday through Friday." Every experience matters, even for those who do not end up being clients. I think they need to take some marketing courses.
This place is brilliant. I have been coming here for 11 years with my pup, even though I don't live in NJ anymore. He's so happy here and loves to stay so much that he doesn't even look back at me when he goes off to play. I never worry about him while I'm away as I suspect he has a better time on vacay at preferred pet care than I do on my vacay. 😀♥️
Sam has so much fun at day care! He even gets excited when he sees the PPC 'party van' (i.e. the transport van) driving around the neighborhood while we are out on walks. The drivers always honk for him!
Took our dog here years ago and hope this place has improved. The problem is they have so many animals. At 7p they closed for the night and your dog will be locked in a small concrete pen until they open again in the morning. That didn’t sit well with us. Our dog came home stressed, hoarse and aggressive. Think carefully before you board your dog in a facility.

The Preferred Pet Care team is amazing! My pup Moose ❤️❤️❤️ loves going to daycare. He bounds in the morning and is the busy pup playing all day. Highly recommend the PPC team. The proof is in the picture
The staff was amazing and very helpful! They definitely helped ease my mind of any worries for my dog's first stay with them. They were also able to answer my questions and even relay personal anecdotes of my dog.
Preferred Pet Care team is awesome! My dogs are not the easiest to take care of (one gets injured easily due to a slipped disc and has ibs) and I boarded them there for 5 days (right after an injury from another daycare not keeping a close eye on him). They kept in constant contact with me as well as my dogs came back in perfect health. 10/10 would recommend. Only wished I lived closer so they could be going to daycare there as well.
We are so lucky to have found Preferred Pet Care for our dog. Our dog is always excited to go there. She pulls towards the door when we arrive in the parking lot. She has been to many day cares in the past. Preferred Pet Care is very responsive, truly care for the dogs, and accommodates the needs of the pets and the owners. I've been recommending Preferred Pet Care to my neighbors. I highly recommend Preferred Pet Care, and our dog will surely continue to go to Preferred Pet Care!
My puppy is beyond happy to go to play at Preferred Pet Care. She jumps for joy when we arrive. I can understand why. All the employees are sooooo nice. You can tell they LOVE the dogs & enjoy working there. Whether my 11 month old dog goes for a half or a full day, when she comes home, she eats, drinks water and falls asleep because she’s exhausted!!! Love. Love. Love this place.

I had a fantastic experience. From the moment I dropped off my dog, it was clear that the staff are dedicated, caring, and highly professional especially Lindsey. The facility itself was clean, well-organized, and inviting. My dog had a comfortable space and plenty of opportunities for play and socialization. The staff took the time to understand my pet's needs and preferences, which really put me at ease. When I picked up my dog, he was happy, healthy, and seemed to have had a great time. We’ve boarded our puppy with In My Paws at least 4 times-from overnight to 10 nights. He always comes back happy and healthy. He even pulls us to the door now as we approach and runs over to the staff. I like to have him washed after a long stay. It’s worth the money to have him smell fresh!
Everyone that works at In my Paws is friendly, professional and informative. Carley explained everything so clearly that we were immediately put at ease. The facility is spotless. The groomers did a great job on the girls, they look beautiful. I would highly recommend In my Paws to any pet owner.
First time. And super experience. Front desk and grooming all attentive and positive attitudes. Was able to get a sameday appointment and Darby needed a trim. Complete in under 3 hrs too. This is the second time boarding Sampson. We were extremely pleased with the staff and attendants. Once again he came home rested and ready to play. I’ve been taking my soft-coated wheaten, Penny, here for 5 years. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. Penny wiggles and wags her tail every time we approach the door. She’s always greeted with a warm welcome back! She also always looks and smells great after her grooming.
