This was my first sit and it set the bar very high. Julia's house was immaculate and accommodating. She left plenty of towels and extra bathroom supplies you may need. The guest room was comfy, the kitchen fully equipped and her back porch was lovely to hang out on. It was fun to see the wildlife on the river. I felt very safe in her neighborhood. Her place is driving distance to groceries, food, beaches and lots of other things to do. Julia was a really cool person, it was great to meet her. Kody Kiddy is such a sweetie! He's a little skittish but very gentle and loves to be pet. His care was straightforward and easy.
I would like to call it paradise, with two adorable four-legged friends and a warm family in a beautiful place full of culture and enjoyment: Ann-Marie's home is the perfect place for a relaxed house sitting! The little star is Stripes, a very self-confident cat lady who unmistakeably tells her wishes with her surroundings. What a listening pleasure...! The Grande Dame Inkie lets her friend grant generously, and is also otherwise a fascinatingly attentive and loving creature. Taking care of both is uncomplicated and a single pleasure, the cuddly evenings are long. House and garden are beautiful and in the area there are numerous and very worthwhile sights to discover (car absolutely necessary, also for shopping). Yes, I can definitely recommend Ann-Marie's home, and I also hope to be able to see Inkie and Stripes again one day. Thank you, Ann-Marie, for this wonderful time!
We very much enjoyed our time sitting for Will and Kacie. Banksy took a little convincing at first, but he was in our laps getting pets in no time. He definitely loved to play and snuggle while we watched TV. Banksy was a sweet cat, and we loved the short amount of time we got to care for him. The care instructions were quite clear and easy to follow - really Will and Kacie were excellent hosts and very communicative. We didn't have any questions or complaints. Kelly and I would definitely sit for them again if given the chance!
Rachel, Shane and Cosmo were very friendly hosts. Cat Olive I think definitely had to process missing her family and getting used to me. Our connection gradually grew, and developed into full-on adoration. Beware, Olive has a special capacity to steal your heart. You will absolutely adore her by the end of your stay. When she starts getting comfortable with you, she'll come closer and closer, and finally sit on your lap, and even make biscuits on your belly sometimes. Olive playbites, but she knows the boundaries very well. She also has a habit of licking your hand and then head-butting it, essentially making you groom her. That was the point where I realised she owned me. Meanwhile, the family's home is perfectly comfortable to live in, and the stay was wonderfully uncomplicated. Highly recommended!
A very enjoyable house and pet sit all around. Eve was lovely and I immediately felt at home. Her flat is wonderful...very comfortable and in a fabulous neighborhood. I loved coming 'home' to it every time I was out and about. Her two fabulous felines, Sophie and Frankie, were dears and I became very attached to them. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
