We are very grateful for the kind and friendly welcome from Rita and Alan.
It was a pleasure taking care of the lovely cats and Lina. The house, fully equipped and comfortable, is surrounded by nature and the sunsets are beautiful. It is a good place to visit the typical towns of the area such as Agres, Bocairent, Banyeres and go hiking in the Sierra de Mariola.
We have really enjoyed the tranquility of the place and the company of the lovely pets.
Highly recommended!!

A really comfortable house sit in a lovely part of the country.

We loved pampering Maisy and Monty, the daily brushing and the tempting of appetite!

Lots of information at the house provided tempting places to explore and visit ....too many for just one sojourn in sunny Dorset

Judi
Spending time with Rover in Judi's home was a great experience. Judi's house is beautiful as well as being extremely clean and organized. It was also nice to have outdoor space available in Toronto! The Bloor West area is very walkable. There are beautiful trails and parklands nearby. Judi lent us 2 bikes for our use which was fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the subway is also walking distance away. Judi was also quick to respond to questions I had even though she was in a different continent and time zone.

Rover is a big sweetie. He is only a year old so is really still a puppy. Judi has done a great job training him. He is easy to walk on leash, basically on heel. He is good around other dogs and children. He is very gentle and good natured. Even when I was doing something he wasn't fond of like brushing him, or taking pieces of a soccer ball out of his mouth that he had destroyed, I was never concerned that he would snap at me.

I recommend this house-sit and would be happy to spend time with Rover again if our schedules align.

Jane
We had a brilliant time house-sitting for Jane and Matt. After a long-ish drive (the last stretch of which included some spectacular countryside), we got to know Jane and Matt over a lovely lunch that Jane had kindly prepared. With two dogs (Wilma and Daragh), a few chickens and a small flock of sheep, you might think that this house-sit involves a lot of work - but Jane and Matt have set everything up to make the process very simple.

Wilma and Daragh have access to excellent off-leash walks through woodland and fields straight from the front door of the house. It's a real pleasure to see Springer Spaniels running freely in such an environment. There is a clever system for cleaning the dogs after a walk, which we found easy to follow. A morning feed and quick check on the sheep was a nice way to start each day.

Heating and hot water for the house comes from a biomass system. Matt gave us a lesson on how to operate the unit. It was our first experience with a biomass boiler of this type, and we found it to be effective and simple to use. We loved the house - it is charming and comfortable. There are beautiful rural views from every window. There was abundant birdlife; we had a daily visit to the birdfeeder by a Woodpecker - quite a sight.

Communication with Jane and Matt was excellent. We were provided with clear and concise instructions and made to feel very much at home. Many thanks to Jane and Matt for inviting us along to look after their amazing property and pets. We had a really memorable stay.

Kelsey and Jim were very warm and welcoming. Communication in the lead up to the sit was great. Their home is immaculate and cozy, and in a beautiful location that is handy to shops and public transport.

Juniper and Gunther were absolutely delightful to spend time with… they were both so well behaved and so sweet-natured.

I’m grateful for the opportunity that Kelsey and Jim gave us to care for their beautiful kids. 😊🐾

Amy is an amazing host and animal lover with the biggest heart. Her house sits in a nice, green and quiet neighborhood with easy acces to public transport to get to downtown Denver.
And, most importantly: the dogs are the sweetest... I already miss Willow, Wren and Zoe and the time I spent with them. Oh, and I should also mention the gorgeous vegetable garden that I really loved to hang out in, and taste some of the delicious greens it produced.

Definitely recommend this sit!
