Anchise & Jamar

Anchise and Jamar were wonderful sitters for our two kitties, Peanut and Porter! We recently booked them for a short, last minute trip for Thanksgiving and couldn't be happier with the experience. In addition to be flexible on timing and coming early to get the keys and meet up, Anchise clearly has a soft spot for cats, so we knew our babies were in good hands with her. By the end of their 2 day sit, it was clear the cats had warmed up and were asking for snuggles and cuddles. So sweet! In addition to both being animal lovers, and clearly able to get out the snuggle side of our kitties, Anchise and Jamar left the apartment clean and organized, stayed in communication through their visit, and sent lots of photos and videos! It was an overall delightful experience working with Anchise and Jamar. It's always nice knowing your place and pets are in good hands when you go away... and that's exactly how we felt with Anchise and Jamar. If you get the chance to book them, you absolutely should — we would highly recommend them!!

Magdalena and Benedikt were absolutely wonderful. I just started recently using this app and they helped me feel safe and secure in leaving my cats under their care. Charlyne had a quite a challenge to deal with as Glu was sick for a good part of her sit. However, she did quite well. When I arrived back, doggy seemed to be in a particularly good mood and two of them seemed to have a good connection, so I would recommend Charylne for the future sits!

Couldn't have hoped for better sitter for Shadow than Luana (and Jack). They sent us pictures every day of Shadow out and about on walks. They were very respectful of our house and kept everything clean, neat and tidy. They also accomodate some last minute changes to our plans with ease and grace. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

First I'd like to say thank you to Iris for coming through for us at the last minute. I don't usually write very long reviews, but she deserves the praise as it was thanks to her that we were able to enjoy our vacation which turned out to be fantastic. We had many ups and downs with finding a reliable sitter as we had a sick, elderly cat that needed extra loving care that discouraged some sitters that were initially interested in sitting for us. Iris was not fased one bit and didn't hesitate to accept the challenge. We immediately felt comfortable with her as she is open and communicative and very friendly. We especially appreciated how reliable and trustworthy she was as she quickly organized her trip and always replied to messages immediately. This, for us, was a major plus. She also arrived two days before we left, as requested, so we could get her acquainted with the animals and the duties, and she rented a car to have more freedom to get around town. She continued to send us daily updates, photos and videos during the entire sit, and treated her pet and home duties with utmost care and respect. Some of the challenges she faced: One of our cats was bitten by another one of our cats so she sent us regular updates to let us know how he was progressing, giving him antibiotics twice a day and showing him extra care by spending more time with him and making sure he had plenty of food to help him heal. She was even ready to take him to the vet if necessary. She also made sure our 20 year old cat, Jojo, received her daily medicine and patiently satisfied her food whims and caprices. Our youngest cat, Stellina, got stuck in a tree one day after being chased by the neighbor's dogs so after the neighbor contacted me, I contacted Iris and told her how to help Stellina get down from the tree and back home. She followed the directions and Stellina returned soon after. She also had to deal with a couple of stormy, rainy days which can unexpectedly alter the daily sit duties, but thankfully, there were more sunny days on the way. Iris' compassion and sensitivity are admirable and our cat Yogi healed by the time we got home. All the other cats warmed up to her immediately. She also took great care of our donkeys. Not much to be said about that as I do believe all went perfectly well. Iris was respectful of the house rules and we returned to a clean and tidy house. She adapted quickly and we became friendly instantly. We took her out for pizza before we left, and she prepared us a lovely, homemade treat when we returned. It was therefore, easy to let her stay a couple of extra nights with us after we returned from our trip. Iris is a stellar petsitter who will go the extra mile to make sure everything is done correctly. Having her sit for us was definitely worth all the ups and downs we went through to find her. I would definitely recommend her to other homeowners and of course, I'd love to have her sit for us again!

Caroline took care of our pets (cat and dog). She was really responsive and took good care of them. When we got back home everything was tidy. We would for sure have her again in our place.

Anton & Elisa

I had a good feeling about Anton and Elisa from our first video call and I was not disappointed! They were responsible, punctual, communicative, kind and so so good with our dog Elf. Since they were already in our city, we had the chance to meet in person and show them around the house before our departure date. Our dog fell in love with them immediately. Their initial affection and interest in Elf lasted through the whole 3 weeks we were away. They sent us videos and photos of our dog who seemed always so happy and relaxed. We previously agreed on the frequency of updates - they were very clear in communicating which I really appreciated. It was a great comfort to know they were playing with Elf, having fun with him and also providing him a calm environment. Even though they followed our request for not letting Elf off leash, they seemed to have given him as much fun and exercise as one could. From their updates we knew things were cared for (including our garden of flowers and vegetables) and when we got back, we saw how wonderfully they took care of our house. Everything was so clean - maybe cleaner than before! All rooms were incredibly tidy and they took in our mail and even placed a gorgeous bouquet of flowers on the coffee table. They said it was because we left the house with a bouquet too but theirs was much better looking :) The thoughtfulness of this couple is hard to match and I hope they will always encounter similarly thoughtful people. This was one of the best house-dog sitters I’ve ever met and I’d be lucky to have them take care of Elf again in the future.

Erika is compassionate and friendly with a good understanding of cats. Her communication is excellent and she messaged every few days with updates on how my boys were doing and what had been done. When I came home my flat was spotless and the boys were happy and well taken care of, she had even made the bed which i appreciated very much as i arrived home late due to delayed flights. Maty and I enjoyed our time at Tim and Rachel's very much. They invited us to come a day early for dinner (which was delicious) and to learn all about Winnie and her routines. Upon arrival, they were very welcoming, the house was extremely clean and it's designed in a way to give spectacular views of the Swan mountains and the wildlife visitors in the yard. Multiple times a day, we saw deer grazing in the woods or in the nearby field. Maty and I both even saw a fox on separate occasions right outside the kitchen door. In addition, Rachel left information sheets regarding Winnie's care, the home and about the area. Between those sheets and going over Winnie's routines with Rachel and Tim, there were no surprises and we knew exactly what to expect and how to best take care of Winnie. As well as Rachel's food and area recommendations were spot on.

Winnie was so much fun to care for. Her personality is so sweet and gentle; it was so adorable watching her get excited for her pellets and salads. It felt like the best day ever when we would get a pre-meal binky, such a quick gesture would give us so much joy. Winnie's set up in the mudroom and living room is so cool and well thought out. It was so much fun to hide her pellets and flowers everyday throughout her toys, castle and on her hay blanket. We made a point to try to be around the house when she woke up from her afternoon napping so we could watch her come out and discover all of her treats. It was so cute how she pushed her nose through her hay to find the flowers that fell towards the bottom. In the evenings, Winnie liked to hop around and through our legs, boop us with her nose and stretch out in the floor in order to just be close. We already miss our sweet new friend and loved our time there. Thank you Tim and Rachel so much for having us and giving us the opportunity to spend so much time with Winnie. We are so grateful to you both!

Ruby and Marvel are such good dogs and an absolute joy to be around. They are well-behaved and well-mannered, the absolute sweetest. Becky was so nice, left thorough instructions, and I felt supported and welcomed. The house is an oasis with a nice backyard for the dogs to hang out and I liked the screened porch. I miss Ruby and Marvel!!

Janette & Gerry's home is lovely, very comfortable, and in a beautiful neighborhood.  I enjoyed walking around the nearby trails.
