Desmond & Caroline are perfect sitters, reliable, trustful, charming. When they applied, late spring, we thought they could visit the region during their 3 weeks stay : our dog, Nuage, was used to be left alone. But unfortunately Nuage fell ill in april and passed away mid june… They accepted to look instead after Tahoe, we adopted a fortnight before their arrival. Very turbulent, only 3months old, this 3 months old puppy could not go out because of his lack of immunity. Our sitters had to stay by him all day other wise he barked loudly as he felt abandoned ! They were more than unlucky as our cat fell ill during their sit and they had also to go to the vet in emergency. If they had not felt concerned by his health, Zig would have probably died… Desmond & Caroline gave us news everyday, sending us photos and videos. We’ve been very lucky to meet them. Although it was very hot in Provence, we found the garden in perfect shape when we returned from England. We highly recommand Desmond and Caroline
In short Joe and Josée felt like part of the family or long time friends. I love that they have a blog so we could see their travels and get to know a little more about them before their arrival. We had travelled overseas for the first time since the pandemic to see my family and to say I was anxious about leaving our two Vizslas (i.e. cuddly but cheeky energetic ginger bears) would be an major understatement! After our first call/meeting with Joe and Josée, Mick and I felt at ease knowing our pups and home would be in good hands. We had updates while we were away, both were readily contactable and we were able to fully enjoy our holiday. We came home to a very clean home and we know our two pups enjoyed their company while we were gone. We would not hesitate to have Joe and Josée stay again!
