Upon successful application to sit for Sheila we were provided with all the information we needed to ensure our housesit was trouble free. We were able to review the e-manual before we arrived and met the hosts and pets so had good background knowledge which supported our house tour & handover. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house was clean, tidy and and well-maintained. A stress free, comfortable stay where we felt very welcome, especially by Jasper (cat) who is a real character. This was our first encounter looking after chickens who were pretty independent and provided us with fresh eggs during our stay! We would highly recommend this housesit as the home, location and amenities make for a memorable holiday/sit.
Michael and Michelle are wonderful hosts. They are warm, social and kind. Their home is beautifully situated in the Wiltshire Downs with all mod cons in a historic property. Rollo and Jasper are two gorgeous British Shorthair cats. They are chilled and very friendly, an absolute joy to be with. Meg the pony is a delight, she loves company and happily trots over to the gate when she sees you (hoping that you have a carrot in hand). I would highly recommend this house sit and hope to visit here again in the future.

Suki is an absolute GEM and I had such a good time with that special girl!! She's extremely sweet and good-natured and also independent at times. Carly and her husband were the perfect hosts. They stocked the kitchen for me and even had backup plans (which turned out not to be needed) for my first night, so were totally cool and understanding when I had a flight delay and arrived a few hours later than planned. Their home is cozy and thoughtful and in a wonderful neighborhood with great walks right out the door!
Andie and Tom are so sweet and kind people! They are a great company to be around 😇 The house is tidy and cozy, the bed is so comfortable! Ruskin, Gus and Gertie are really good big cats 🥰 And even the chickens are so smart and were very friendly to us 😄 There are so much beautiful public walks from the house. We loved our evening walks. We enjoyed our stay at Andie’s place so much! Thank you for your trust dear Andie! Hope to sit for you again 😇
This is the perfect sit if you want to escape from it all and connect with nature. Skyler & Michelle's comfy & cozy cabin is nestled deep in the Redwoods in an amazing setting. So peaceful & tranquil. (There are neighbors, just not too close) The studio is a really cool space for yoga/meditation or just hanging out. Very close by is Loch Lomond and the Redwood State Park to go exploring/hiking and there is a fab organic grocery store in Felton. The cats Maxwell and Kingsley were a pleasure to look after. Two quite different and distinct personalities. Max is the sociable one who is happy to follow you around when you're watering the garden and simply likes to keep company. Kingsley is much more independent who will disappear for much of the day though always comes back for food. Both are the cutest! Skyler & Michelle were lovely hosts and super accommodating to my travel arrangements. It was nice to spend some time with them. Highly recommend!
