Nick is simply a great guy and we're happy he applied and then stayed with Figaro our cat . No need to write too much - the 5 stars we gave him for all the formal questions say it all, and we'll give him 5 stars for anything else you might ask us about his sitting. We felt that Figaro was safe and well looked after, that Nick is friendly, caring, open and conciensous. He is a pet parent too, so he knows what it's like to want your pet to be happy. We were very comfortable leaving our precious blob of fur with him. We always worry tremeandously about Figaro's wellbeing when we're away, and are happily we were able to enjoy our holiday knwoing that he's in good hands. We came back to find figaro and our apartment in great shape,.so no looking back, and we'll be happy for him.to stay with us again. Thanks Nick, and wishing you all the best.
Nikida and Zack were kind hosts, had great communication, and their home was as advertised. It was neat having their downstairs basement area for us to use. Morty was such a sweet boy! Timid (as described) but incredibly loving and protecting once you build his trust. Chickens were easy peasy to care for and such a happy moment to enjoy backyard fresh eggs! 🥹 I would highly recommend staying with their family.
Shelley was an amazing host and provided really clear instruction for all of the pets. The house and location is stellar and newly renovated place was very enjoyable. I would definitely house sit for Shelley again.
Jill and her partner were very friendly and kind hosts. As I stayed over Christmas they kindly welcomed me to their home with mince pies and wine. Their home was very accomodating, comfortable and in a great location. Tobey and CJ were both very well behaved animals and easy to care for. They’re lovely pets and were a joy to look after. I couldn’t recommend Jill’s stay enough looking after Tobey and CJ in Brighton.
Lucy and Hardy were great to watch! They are both a little older but so friendly and sweet. Lucy was a great listener and kept to her schedule with no issues. Giving her medicine was absolutely painless and she even enjoyed it. Hardy was so nice and loved to curl up with us while we watched tv. The owners left thoughtful notes and let us stay an extra night before our flight. Their home was welcoming and so beautiful. 10/10
Diesel was a perfect companion for long walks in the amazingly beautiful Richmond park. Once in the park, he was off the lead and running free, he always stayed close by and has a great recall. Diesel is very energetic and super happy looking for the biggest stick he can find, carrying it around until he can replace it with an even bigger one. He is friendly with dogs and people and has no interest in the deer roaming the park. Apart from pulling on the lead, he is very well behaved and a pleasure to be with. Upon arrival Johanna picked me up at Richmond station and we spent the late afternoon/evening together, including going for dinner and taking Diesel for his evening walk. Between the welcome guide and Johanna’s briefing I got all the information I needed to be able to look after Diesel and the house. For questions I had afterwards, Johanna always responded quickly on WhatsApp so everything was very easy to manage. Johanna’s home is lovely with lots of light and in walking distance to shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the local yoga studio which is only a 13 minute’s walk away (The YogaHub). Thank you to Diesel for being such a brilliant companion and to Johanna for trusting me to take care of Diesel and her home – it was a wonderful start of the new year.
